The Persian "خ" sounds like the "ch" in Scottish "loch" or the "ch" in German "Bach". It’s a rough, breathy sound from the back of the throat, stronger than an English "h".

too many ads now. used to be much less. I stopped listening to this podcast because of the ads. then come back to listen to some interesting one, but again ads put me off and I stop listening again.
Hi, I had surgery once, and the whole time after op that I was under the effect of anesthesia I couldn't speak in my mother tongue (Persian) and only spoke in English. I could understand Persian but only responded in English.
