💡 In my 50 lbs weight loss journey I used this simple technique to differentiate between urges to binge and genuine hunger. Today you'll learn about it!

➡️ Remember True Hunger: True hunger builds slowly without anxiety. The urge to binge feels sudden and overwhelming.
➡️ Ask Yourself: Would you eat a cucumber or apple right now? This question is not about weight loss or eating low-calorie foods. It's about asking yourself if you would eat something that doesn't give you the pleasure reward (as, for example, ice cream) to satisfy true hunger. Being truly super hungry, anyone would eat something that is less tasty to them, but when having just cravings and urges, the often only desire is sweet & fatty cravings.
➡️ Visualize Separation: Binge eating isn't you; it's a habit. So treat it separately. You have a choice – follow urges or endure discomfort, or give in, which releases the discomfort but will make you feel guilty afterward and not closer to your weight loss goals.
