Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase and Mario VS Donkey Kong Impressions | TSBR 79
We finally got a Nintendo Direct… Kind of! Join Logan, Justin, and Chris as they walk through all the announcements in the Partner Showcase, including Star Wars Battlefront, Endless Ocean, Penny’s Big Breakaway, and Mother 3’s Switch Online release in Japan. Then, Chris and Logan share their thoughts on Mario vs. Donkey Kong… and they’re not great.
The reviews are in for Mario VS Donkey Kong, and it’s looking like a faithful remake of the GBA original. But, Logan and Chris think that DK deserves better. Plus, the panel talks about the new Princess Peach trailer, hype for Splatoon 3’s roguelite mode, and more.
It’s Logan’s favorite time of the quarter – Nintendo’s financials are in! This week in the Boardroom, join Logan, Justin, and Chris as they break down great sales numbers for Pikmin 4 and Super Mario RPG, Switch’s chance at becoming the best-selling console of all time, and if public opinion has soured on Super Mario Bros.
