EP07 and I have no clue what's going on. The acting and production quality is good, but the sequence of the story is impossible to follow with no transitions between settings/scenes. Still not sure what exactly they're trying to accomplish in the storyline.
This is a great story and well worth your time
Half ass ripoff of Heart of Darkness. Really weak. Don't waste your time people.
I enjoy this show very much, but Captain Clark's accent doesn't sound right. I think it's meant to be Scottish. 🤷♂️
T.S. Eliot, "The Hollow Men", epigram: "Mistah Kurtz - he dead."
So it's just Heart of Darkness / Apocalypse Now? How disappointing.
Sometimes I am lost in the sequence of things, but it is completely compelling and I love it. Giving up sleep to listen, so I know it's good...I think the occasional lack of synchrony adds to the complex, mysterious nature of the show...I will stick my neck out and wager it is a deliberate dramatic ploy...
so far so good...
I really want to like this show. but the pacing in the show is way off. we go from episode 2 where they crash land on Titan, to next are having drinks in a bar talking about companies and espionage and shit like that. Don't get me wrong it's very compelling and fun scientific sci-fi story. but pacing it really matters just as much as narration in a story.
I swear every fiction podcast has the same main character.
