Ep. 762 - All eyes around the NFL world were focused on Phoenix, Arizona this week as the NFL held its Annual League Meetings in The Valley. Paul Calvisi and Ron Wolfley break down what Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur had to say about his offensive vision, Jacoby Brissett’s potential as QB1, the importance of building a dominant offensive line, and how physicality could define the Cardinals’ identity moving forward. Plus, the guys explore what Arizona's defense might look like this season under Nick Rallis, the value of Teryl Austin's addition to the coaching staff, league rule changes, and in the spirit of April Fools Day, we revisit some classic pranks pulled inside the radio booth.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 992 - Happy April Fool’s Day, Bird Gang. That said, neither Craig Grialou nor Dani Sureck are playing the fool on Wednesday’s show. Instead, Craig and Dani continue to react to what Mike LaFleur had to say during his Q&A with reporters at the Annual League Meeting this week; LaFleur likes the experience both Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew bring to the quarterback room, believes Teryl Austin will be “a great asset” for him, Nick Rallis, and the defense overall plus LaFleur is looking forward to having players back in the building next week. Also, Craig and Dani update Paris Johnson Jr.’s rehab, another round of uniform number changes, and because it is April 1st, begin to promote the 2026 Draft Party at State Farm Stadium.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Paul Calvisi debates himself over onside kicks or tech neck, but eventually he gets to Darren Urban and Dani Sureck to talk NFL and the Cardinals with the annual meeting held in Arizona. Our trio chats about rules changes and potential replacement refs, Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur’s view of his QB situation now that Kyler Murray has moved on, Jacoby Brissett’s outlook, an incoming joint practice in Wisconsin, a foodie’s Getting Cultured, the Ty Simpson discussion (and some Jeremiyah Love), the NFC West update desk, and some flag football with Larry Fitzgerald Jr.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Mike LaFleur attended the NFL’s Annual League Meeting for the first time as head coach of the Cardinals. Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi, and former Cardinals linebacker Rob Fredrickson break down LaFleur’s comments on several topics, including his coaching approach, what quarterbacks need to succeed in his system, and how the offensive playbook is developing so far. LaFleur also confirmed that the Cardinals plan to hold joint practices with the Packers in Green Bay this summer pending NFL approval. The group discusses the potential benefits of those sessions.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 991 - It’s the one topic that’s dominated much of the offseason. Quarterback. Who’s in the room? Who might be in the room? And, yes, who no longer is in the room? Those questions were asked. Those questions were answered by head coach Mike LaFleur over a 30-minute period on Monday morning at the Arizona Biltmore, the site of this year’s Annual League Meeting. Both Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman listened in to what LaFleur had to say about Jacoby Brissett, Gardner Minshew as well as Kyler Murray. Plus, the guys react to what LaFleur had to say about the offense, the offensive line, his coaching staff, Kendrick Bourne, Walter Nolen’s recovery, and the likelihood of joint practices with the Green Bay Packers.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 761 - Paul Calvisi and Ron Wolfley break down the latest NFL Draft buzz, including the rise of Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson and what the Arizona Cardinals might do with the No. 3 pick. They debate potential draft strategies, react to offseason moves that signal a more physical team identity, and evaluate player development across the roster. Could contract extensions be on the horizon for tackle Paris Johnson Jr. and wide receiver Michael Wilson? Plus, enjoy a lighthearted jersey-number trivia segment and a tribute to Cardinals legend Larry Wilson.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 990 – At first glance, he reminds you of Dennis Gardeck, maybe even Pat Tillman (or Kurt Cobain, according to Paul Calvisi.) Watch him play, and yeah, the Gardeck similarities continue. Hear him speak, and you feel like you’re talking to Budda Baker in terms of how he describes his style of play. In other words, new safety Andrew Wingard, before even playing a down of football in a Cardinals uniform, is trending towards being a fan favorite. Recently, Wingard sat down with Calvisi and Craig Grialou to discuss why he chose Arizona after seven seasons in Jacksonville, why going undrafted might’ve been the best thing to happen to him, and why he plays like he plays.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
With Dani Sureck on assignment, Zach Gershman crashes the party with Paul Calvisi and Darren Urban, although not to sit around watching March Madness games. This discussion is about the draft, Ty Simpson’s ultimate draft spot, the idea of the “late-rising quarterback,” the best 1-2 draft combo in the first two rounds for the Cardinals, the search for a defensive playmaker, the possibility of trading down, Zach’s need for a beard, filling holes before the draft, Mack Wilson’s switch to No. 1, drafting an inside linebacker, their top picks as the underrated free agent, and A.J. Green’s touching tribute to Rondale Moore.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It’s the heart of NFL “silly season,” and the Red Sea Report breaks down the latest mock draft buzz and what it means for the Arizona Cardinals at No. 3 overall. Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi, and former NFL linebacker Rob Fredrickson debate edge rusher options, trade-back scenarios, and the value of non-traditional positions in this year’s NFL Draft. They also discuss key offseason additions like Tyler Allgeier and Kendrick Bourne, how Mike LaFleur could shape the offense, the importance of defensive development, and major moves around the NFC West.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 989 - Whether on the field or off the field, and especially off the field, Kendrick Bourne can be counted on to bring one thing: He will bring the energy. Tenfold. “I was born this way” - no pun intended - he recently told Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi. Bourne is among the new additions to the wide receiver room. He speaks with Craig and Paul about the energy he exudes, why relationships are important, his plan to be a mentor to the likes of Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr., the special connection he has with head coach Mike LaFleur, and how being an undrafted free agent helped shape him into the player who is going into his 10th season in the league.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 760 - It starts with the foundation. Paul Calvisi and Ron Wolfley dive into the Arizona Cardinals’ offseason, breaking down how key additions like Isaac Seumalo, Tyler Allgeier, Andrew Wingard, Kendrick Bourne, and Devin Duvernay are shaping a tougher, more physical identity on both sides of the ball. Calvisi and Wolf explore how the Cardinals are building through the trenches, emphasizing a punishing run game, improved line play, and high-energy contributors on special teams, while also discussing roster battles, draft flexibility, and the mentality needed to compete in a stacked division. Plus, find out which Cardinals newcomer is Wolf's new "soul bro."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 988 - Among the many moves made during free agency almost half of the additions have come along the line of scrimmage, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone based on last season’s results. The two marquee names signed were Isaac Seumalo and Roy Lopez. Both recently sat down with Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi. For Seumalo, it was a chance to get back on the west coast, fill a need at left guard, team with Paris Johnson Jr., and help build a winner in Arizona. Meanwhile, for Lopez, who is about to become a first-time father, it was a chance to return home, fill a much-needed role inside, and reunite with several teammates as well as defensive coordinator Nick Rallis. Enjoy the conversations.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It’s been a tough few days for Paul Calvisi and a moment of pause this weekend for Darren Urban, but they rallied to join Dani Sureck to get into what the Cardinals’ free-agent additions mean for the draft, if Jack Gibbens reflects on Sonny Styles, the idea of trying to trade back, a quick look at the free agents from the last week, Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew and the QB situation, a return of Getting Cultured, Kyler’s spot in Minnesota, the NFC West upgrades, why “pending physical” matters, and Paul’s love for Cheeto.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
As the offseason continues, Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi, and former Cardinals receiver Frank Sanders break down Arizona's key free agent additions, potential roster battles, and the team’s evolving identity under new head coach Mike LaFleur. From the physical running back duo of James Conner and Tyler Allgeier to the veteran presence of receiver Kendrick Bourne and the continued rise of Marvin Harrison Jr., the crew explores how competition and leadership could lead to a balanced, high-powered offense. They also take a closer look at the defense, including the return of defensive lineman Roy Lopez and the addition of safety Andrew Wingard, who started 16 games for the Jaguars in 2025. Plus, how might the reported signing of return specialist Devin Duvernay impact special teams under new coordinator Michael Ghobrial?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 987 - It’s what every player wants. An opportunity. And for running back Tyler Allgeier, he believes he’s got a great opportunity with the Arizona Cardinals. Allgeier sat down with Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi to discuss his decision to leave Atlanta for Arizona; joining a room with James Conner, Trey Benson, Bam Knight and Corey Kiner; working with head coach Mike LaFleur, who he’s watched with admiration from afar; his journey from high school to college - and one season playing linebacker - to the NFL; plus, Paul was not afraid to bring up his zero lost fumbles stat. Before that conversation, however, the guys go over the news of the day: the signing of safety Andrew Wingard and the reported signing of wide receiver Devin Duvernay.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 759 - Many new faces arrived at Cardinals HQ in Tempe this week as the team introduced several of its free-agent signings. Hear from new running back Tyler Allgeier, who will join James Conner to create a physical backfield, along with former 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne and defensive lineman Roy Lopez, who returns to the Cardinals after spending last season with the Detroit Lions.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 183 - Los movimientos comienzan a tomar forma. Rolando Cantú e Irving Villanueva analizan las nuevas incorporaciones y las caras conocidas que regresan a los Arizona Cardinals mientras desglosan las decisiones clave del equipo durante la agencia libre de la National Football League.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 986 - Happy New Year, Bird Gang! And on this the first day of the new league year, there is plenty to talk about; a lot of what has been reported is now official. Yes, that includes the future of Kyler Murray. And that’s where Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman begin the show. Murray has been released, while Gardner Minshew will reportedly sign to join holdovers Jacoby Brissett and Kedon Slovis. Who will be QB1? The guys also discuss what has quickly become a loaded running back room, additions along the line of scrimmage including a new starting guard and a familiar face returning to the defensive line, plus seven rounds equals seven draft picks come April.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

show sucks
Wasn't there however there are a few forums suggesting Murray was ok, again wasn't there so maybe they are down playing it.
Think there is a lot of fans who are cautiously reserved about 2019 season (after the chosen Rozen fiasco) but hopefully Wolfe is right about the schemes and offensive upgrades.
Good luck Josh Rosen this Sunday beat the Seahawks... it's time to protect our house.....time is now.....
