Well the fellas are back at it again. They are pretty much all over the place in this episode. .This time they begin explaining their decision of which artist’s career they would most want to resemble. Phil then asks the guys what their favorite hood movie is. Phil does an impromptu Ice Cube impression that Josh isn’t impressed by at all SMH They then veer off into the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories. Each one talks about the conspiracy theories that they most think may have some truth to it. Their answers may or may not surprise you. And another one! In this episode, the guys touch on a number of current topics generating the news circuit. They talk about the Chris Rock scathing bit on Will Smith in his recent Stand-up special. The guys disagree how Rock has handled the whole thing since the slap heard round the world. They also discuss Rock and Dave Chapelle’s, uh, less then stellar movie careers, and then they break down who’s had the greater and/or the funnier series: “Chappelle’s Show” or “In Living Color”. Later, the guys discuss the Ja Morant situation. Phil predicts that Ja won’t get a lengthy suspension due to the “Jelly back” commissioner Adam Silver. Finally, the guys discuss who their mount Rushmore is for all-time stand-up comedians. Phil doesn’t have Eddie Murphy on his mount Rushmore and it genuinely seems to bother Josh. They discuss that and a bit more, on a brand new episode of “Wisemen Podcast”.
In this episode, the guys recap the eyesore, horrid NBA All-Star game and weekend. When discussing Dame Lillard, Phil talks about his theory on 6’3 and under point guards. Later in the episode, Josh opens up about a fight he almost got into with a group of young people trying to play a prank on him (LOL SMH) Phil also talks about a weird encounter he found himself involved in at his job. Josh later talks about his trip to LA for a job related conference, the sketchy hotel he stayed at and his overall opinion on the famous (or infamous) American city. The guys are back for another episode! This evening they veer into a conversation about Michael Jackson versus Prince. The guys choose on who they would see perform in their prime if they had a free ticket. They move on to talking sports where They talk about expected #1 pick in the 2023 draft, Victor Wembanyama. Josh and Phil believe he’s the real deal while Brandon is skeptical. Later they talk about the highly controversial Draymond Green V Jordan Poole altercation. They give their take on why they believed it happened, and what should have happened in the aftermath, as well as whether this incident will or won’t derail the Warriors upcoming season where they look to defend their title. In this episode (Recorded in December 2021) , Phil talks about the day he had driving to Los Angeles South Central to hang out with a female friend he hadn’t seen in years. The guys want to know how Phil reacted driving down to and spending the day in “the hood”. Phil tells them about being refused a seat in a restaurant because of the vaccine mandate, in which Phil did not have the vaccine, and them going to a famous LA restaurant that did not enforce the vaccine mandate. Later, him and Brandon speak on the pros and cons of LA. Brandon and Phil also talk about two separate incidences in which they were scammed out of money while Josh speaks of a game he used to play and how one thing led to another and he ended up scammed out of receiving hundreds of dollars from the particular game.
