Description

Triple Threat celebrates the human instinct to explore multiple passions and hone an array of skills. We refuse to box people in to just one talent! Hosted by Jake Hight, who is joined each week by a Triple Threat, often from the world of music, film or football. Expect convoluted analysis, deep meaningful explorations and damn right silly shenanigans.

This third episode is a bit of a Gundhi special... We are joined by one of the founding fathers of the Gundhi Kay Bhupal aka KaiBai. This man is one of my favorite people on the planet, and has been a huge influence on me since we met at university, Kay was, afterall, the person who helped me come up with the idea of starting the Triple Threat podcast. Now a Media Manager and Editorial Journalist at CBS news, we discuss balancing a career with passion projects, Kay's upbringing as a Punjabi Sikh in Greater West London, and the importance of looking after your parents.  Much of this episode however is dedicated to the Gundhi Brothers, as we listen to and celebrate some of my favorite Kai Bai verses, before sharing our thoughts on some of the challenges the Gundhi has faced, and what lies ahead for the band.  This is possibly the most wholesome episode yet,  however we couldn't get through it without exploring the possibility of running away to Selwood forest in Frome with a packed lunch and some wellington boots.

James is a digital marketer, a  Funk, Disco & House DJ and a keen football fanatic.  We discuss  James journey through various music genres, the rivalry of Frome Schools,  and the financial evolution of the Premier League. We also send invitations to every man, woman, child and their dog  on the podcast. Michail Antonio, if your reading this... Get on the pod!
In our debut episode we are joined by the refreshingly invigorating  Paul Allimadi. Paul is the creator of clothing company Mandem, a well known host in London's events scene, and a  champion of young people through his work in education.  We discuss the birth of Mandem, his love hate relationship with Tik Tok, and what it's like to be a twin.
