Description
Soundclash: The Musical Challenge Show! brought to you by the team at South Wales ONE.
Every week, we pick a new topic - it might be broad, it might be narrow, it might be complicated, a lot of the time it’s downright weird. Whatever we pick, our presenters then play five songs head to head to see which of them has the superior musical taste!
It’s a musical chess match, a fencing match stuck in a jukebox, and Russian roulette with a playlist all mixed into one. Expect a lot of banter, quite a bite of cheating, plus an eclectic mix of guests and topics, all set to a great soundtrack. If you’re listening live or shortly after the podcast is released, you can vote for your favourite tracks at www.soundclashshow.co.uk.
Alternatively, if you’re plumbing the depths of our archive, just let us know what you think at @southwalesone or via our website www.southwalesone.com

Goooooooood Evening. It's time for another episode of Soundclash: The Musical Challenge Show!
This week, Chris and Lee are playing 'Million Selling Records', but who will be victorious? As always, YOU decide!
Six degrees of separation…with music.
That is the concept of ‘Smells Like Kevin Bacon’. We pick 2 songs submitted by listeners randomly at the start of the show. Lloyd & Lee then have 60 minutes to link them with 6 additional songs in the middle. Each song must link to the previous song.
As we don’t know the song choices until the start of the show, and we’re looking for (sometimes obscure) links. Literally anything could play on this show…even Mr Blobby!
There is no script. No rehearsal and no preparation. This show is done completely off the cuff. Tune in each week to see if they succeed.
It’s Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon with your favourite music.
Break out your Morrissey posters, grab those corduroy trousers, pour beer in your carpet, and join Lloyd Murray on a trip back to The Indie Disco.
