Shesh Pata starring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Gargi Roychowdhury, Vikram Chatterjee and Rayati Bhattacharya pertains to incomplete pages, chapters, and narratives that are in need of positive resolutions. Aritra Banerjee praises the superb screenplay, the human touch to the Byomkesh character, and the well-developed supporting characters. Stellar performances by Anirban, Bhaswar Chatterjee, and Anushka Chakraborty, and sharp dialogues by Pratik Dutta are highlighted. However, some negatives include the lack of importance for Satyabati's character, the investigation being given the least priority, and a lag in the last episode.
