This is a message by Rev. Michael Hands from our series 1 Corinthians. Passage: 1 Corinthians 11:2-12.Welcome to the Newlife podcast! We’re so glad that you could join us. Newlife is one family with many churches located in Brisbane, Coolangatta, Coomera, Moreton Bay, and Robina—and we exist to see more people more like Jesus by planting and leading thriving local churches. You've joined us for our series through 1 Corinthians, 'How Jesus Changes Everything'. Three years after planting the church in Corinth, Paul heard troubling reports—division, sexual immorality, legal disputes, confusion over spiritual gifts, doubts about the resurrection. Rather than handing down rules, Paul reasons from the story of Jesus itself, showing how the gospel reshapes every corner of ordinary life. This series is an invitation to live between the cross and the resurrection—shaped by Christ's self-giving love, carried by the hope of what's to come. More of us, more like Jesus.Whether you're new to faith or have followed Jesus for years, this series will help you not just know who Jesus is, but experience the full, abundant, and eternal life he offers.Enjoy the podcast!

This is a message by Ephraim Knox — “God's Heart on Display” Passage: Matthew 5:13-16.We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. This is not simply something we do; it is who we are in Christ. God has given us His heart, His Spirit, gifts, and talents so that His love can be displayed through our lives. Jesus showed us what this looks like: sacrificial love, generosity, forgiveness, compassion, welcoming outsiders, serving without recognition, and loving without expecting anything in return. We do not love to gain approval or recognition; we love because God first loved us. Wherever we go—home, work, friendships, and community—we represent Jesus. Let His light shine through us.Enjoy the podcast!
