Our walk is compared to a mountain climb. Some quit, camp and climb. The climber doesn’t quit. He’s determined, diligent and is not deterred by obstacles or tough times. He doesn’t faint or lose heart. He refuses to give up.
At Christmas, we tend to give the perfect gift to our friends and loved ones; but what can we give to Jesus on HIS birthday? He made heaven and earth and all that in them is; what can we give the King of kings? Discover more about what we can give Him today, and every day.
Though Christmas comes just once a year, the message of Christmas should be evidently lived in and through our lives. The incarnation of the Son of God is one of the three most important historical events to touch the realm of humanity. Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season, and He is the reason we can have a relationship with God.
Paul dealt with the strife and contentions existing at Corinth by teaching on divine love. The goal was to change their thinking by explaining how love acts. Discover more about agape love in “The Love Chapter” as we study 1 Corinthians 13.
God has revealed His love for man by sacrificing His son so that even the vilest sinner can be saved. This act of love should motivate everyone to live for Christ and to love others as He loved us. Love is the most powerful force there is.
As required in Ephesians 5:1-2, Christians are to imitate God and walk in love after the example of Christ. We are to avoid uncleanness, impurity, the desire to have what belongs to another, foolish talking nor jesting and idolatry. Receive an understanding of being rooted and grounded in love.
1 Corinthians 13 tells us there is nothing greater than love. Love motivated God to send Jesus; love motivated Jesus to die for us; love motivates us to live for Christ and it motivates us to love one another. Receive an understanding of how love is the more excellent way and walking in love promotes God's glory.
We should always have a thankful heart toward God. Receive an understanding of thanking God for His presence, power, peace, promises, provision and protection.
Our Father wants us to be thankful for all that He has done for us and given us in Christ. 1Thessalonians 5:18 states, "in everything, give thanks..." Why? When people give thanks, great things can follow.
2 Timothy 3:1 states that in the last days perilous times shall come. Receive an understanding of why we should give thanks for Divine Protection. God has promised supernatural protection for all who dwell in the "SECRET PLACE" of "ABIDING IN CHRIST."
There are so many reasons why we give thanks to God: for who He is; for His goodness and works; for Life; for being our Redeemer and Savior; and for His faithfulness and loving kindness. We should also give thanks because God commands it. 1Thessalonians 5:18 tells us this is His will. Do you give thanks to God in everything?
There are many reasons to give thanks to God on a daily basis. Our study is intended to inspire us to appreciate who God is, help us to develop a grateful heart and to become more thankful for all He has done for us in Christ.
Receive an understanding of how, in Christ, we possess all we need to succeed as individuals and collectively as Christians.
Once saved does God require anything of us? Is there something we must do other than receive His grace? Does it matter how we live? According to 2 Peter 1:8-15, there are certain things we must add to our faith in order to ensure our success in living a life that glorifies God. Receive an understanding of what "these things" are and what they guarantee when active in our lives.
Before his rebellion, Adam was a perfect creation of God. The fall affected all three dimensions of man’s being: His spirit was separated, his soul was darkened and his body became mortal and subject to death. God’s love for man moved Him to send Heaven’s best to restore man’s lost relationship with God. Jesus accomplished what He came to do. Now, everyone in Christ has a new identity. Receive an understanding of Success Principle #10-- Having a revelation of what we have in Christ.
Our words are important to God and have an impact on our lives now and eternally. We all must decide what we will believe. Receive an understanding of the truth about the "Word of Faith."
Psalms 11:3 asks, "If the foundations of a Godly society are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Receive an understanding of how we must be Prayer Focused in today's world by appealing to the highest powers for help and to pray with pure, passionate, and persistent hearts.
In Luke 18:8, Jesus asks will He find faith on earth when He returns. This is a good indication that faith will probably be scarce. Receive an understanding of the importance of faith, the levels or faith, and how faith is made perfect as told in James 2:20-22.
We all a life to live and a life mission to fulfill. We can choose to use our own powers to succeed or we can be fill with the Holy Ghost--as Jesus was and he commanded His Disciples to be--and allow the power of God to assist us in living and fulfilling our life mission. Receive an understanding of Success Principle #9--The Spirit of Baptism.
There is a difference between preaching and teaching in the Divine calling--preaching proclaims the good news, teaching informs of how to respond to the good news. Receive an understanding of The Divine Call and what Abraham's Faith teaches us.
