Happy Holidays everyone! As a Christmas gift to you all, we decided to post Monday's episode a few days early. In this episode, we discuss Belsnickel, a Pennsylvania-Dutch Christmas gift-giver. Originally from Germany, Belsnickel has become part of Pennsylvania Christmas tradition. But is Belsnickel the fun, jolly figure you'd think he is?
We know this is not our typical content, but we hope you enjoy this break from our typical episode. We hope you and your family have a fun and relaxing holiday and we will hop into your feed again in the new year.
The poem Darian recited, "Christmastime in the Land of Belsnickel", was written by Matthew Burns, and can be found in his blog post here:

After our Thanksgiving break, we decided to take a trip over to Canada for this episode! In this episode, we discuss the INSANE case of Steven Truscott, who was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to death at the age of 14.
There are volume issues associated with this episode, please bear with us. This is just a podcast we are doing for fun in our free time, and because we live in different states and due to the nature of our recording software, the audio is often disjointed. It takes hours and hours to fix and sometimes it still is not right. Please bear with us as we figure this out.

Kristen is unfortunately sick and unable to record this week, so my husband, Ryan, had the wonderful opportunity of joining me on the pod this week! Just like all of the cases we cover, this case is not at all straightforward. This case will leave you wondering, who killed Marilyn Green and Jerry Hillard? Is the real killer still at large?
