The Hollywood statistics tell us that traditionally movie casts are made up of only a 20% female cast.  Gina Prince-Blythewood, director of "The Woman King", swung the gender equity pendulum; her cast was made up of 80% women!  The cast of The Woman King includes award-winning actresses like Viola Davis and the support of Women In Film, a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging and inspiring women in all aspects of global media.  Imagine the impact and gains in gender equity we would make if this was a common practice?
