When Ed and his partners realized that Gacovino Lake Law Firm was rapidly growing, they began troubleshooting how to handle critical operations to make sure his staff was not overwhelmed by the influx of business. Ed and his partners realized all client communication began with the phones. They came up with a solution that would streamline incoming and outbound client calls: an in-house Interactive Voice Response system (IVR). In this episode, Ed walks host Alex Valencia through the trials and tribulations of starting Persist Communications and how the company was able to develop a voice response system that helped both their own growing law firm as well as law firms around the globe.  Ed shares how his past challenges have made him into the business man he is today. After graduating law school during a recession and losing the job he had lined up at his father’s bankrupt company, Ed had to build his career from the ground up. Ed tells his favorite story about meeting a man at a car wash that looked successful and asking if he knew of any work in Ed’s field. The man responded positively, and Ed was rewarded with a job from that interaction. From there on, Ed was able to become a successful businessman from the connections he made and the hard work put into his career. All of these life lessons led to Ed designing the IVR and founding and co-founding two successful companies.  Tune into this week’s episode of the We Do Marketing Hour podcast for a conversation with Ed Lake. Learn more about what an Interactive Voice Response system does, how to overcome career-based struggles, and why it is so important to trust your lawyers.    Quotes  • “This application was used to determine whether the person answering the outgoing call made by the dialer was a live person, or a voicemail. And that was important.” (0:05:48-0:06:00)  • “So, Persist Communications allows me to be more efficient, it allows me to reduce my costs, as a client to be happier allows me to retain more clients, and hopefully other people agree.” (31:40-31:40)  • “It's very easy to do business with people when everything goes right.” (34:32-34:37)  • “All I can say is, would you rather have somebody on your side who's been educated, or not? Many lawyers become lawyers, because they can make a big hit. I'm not going to deny that.” (1:01:38-1:02:01)    Links For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/   For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
Harlan Schillinger is widely considered the Grandfather of Legal Advertising. He was the first in the legal field to produce and market television advertisements, and in his four decades of experience Harlan has worked with more than 130 law firms in over 98 markets throughout North America. In today’s episode, Harlan sits down with host Alex Valencia to discuss how his unique approach to intake and conversion yields massive results for law firms.  According to Harlan, 99% of law firms’ lead intake is robotic. He explains how compassion and empathy can set your firm apart and significantly increase lead conversion. Further, implementing a solid CRM is invaluable to the success of any law firm. After identifying a gap in the market, Harlan took his obsession with intake and conversion to the next level. Along with two partners, Harlan developed Lead Docket, a CRM software that helps law firms increase their net business by up to 40%. Tune into this week’s episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast to learn how compassion during intake and a strong CRM can increase your firm’s conversion rate and save you thousands of dollars on marketing.    Quotes • “But the truth of the matter is if you think that your intake is good, you're mistaken. When I say good, it's getting calls that you can convert viable personal injury cases, but then converting that into a contract.” (08:45) • “What I discovered with intake and conversion is how big that hole is.” (10:30) • “If you can convert more calls, then you'll make more money, you'll bring more clients, and you won't spend a nickel more to do it.” (11:44) • “Brand is what people think of you when you're out of the room.” (41:47) • “I suggest people talk to the public the way they would a jury because when you're talking to a jury, you're humanizing yourself.” (42:59) • “Advertising works. Shitty advertising, good advertising, it works. It’s all about the message.” (46:26) • “You must have the right software to manage your practice so it can tell you what you don't know.” (46:19) • “No matter what you do in advertising people are going to go to your website. So you better be buttoned up with your website visually, mechanically, and so on. It’s the absolute foundation.” (50:19)   Links For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/   For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com.
“All lawyer advertisements don't have to fit the same mold,” says Adam Warren, President and Co-Founder of OpenJar Concepts. After initially launching OpenJar Concepts, Adam and his partner primarily focused on producing award-winning TV advertisements for their clients. While Adam is still a firm believer in the power of TV marketing, he also understands the importance of expanding into other media platforms. With his unique media strategies and forward-thinking approach, Adam has redesigned his company to better predict consumer behavioral patterns. When Adam designs marketing strategies for his clients, he encourages them to utilize multiple media platforms. Rather than steadfastly sticking to TV and radio campaigns, Adam explains the benefits a diverse presence provides a law firm to reach their perfect clients. To grow and scale your business in a continuously advancing world, it is crucial to meet consumers where they are.  Tune into this week’s episode of the We Do Marketing Hour Podcast to learn more about the evolution of digital marketing, the importance of diversifying your business strategies, and how Adam’s innovative marketing mindset is changing the way law firms approach advertising in the future.   Quotes • “We started recognizing that there were a lot of law firms that wanted to get into mass tort either through harmful drugs or medical devices but didn't want their names to be so front and center.” (11:14-11:34) • “Once we get those initial inquiries back to the law firm on how they plan to approach each case, then we can figure out on a one-by-one basis if we're going to bring them into the fold or not.” (21:46-22:00) • “All lawyer advertisements don't have to fit the same mold.” (32:17-32:19) • “I want to make sure that I can deliver on the full service capacity that we are promoting.” (35:19-35:22) • “It's going to continuously be the job of our team to keep their hand on the pulse of not just what’s happening now, but what's possibly coming tomorrow.” (35:34-35:47)  • “If you go in and say you want performance media only, you're precluding yourself from all sorts of other targeted media that might work really well for you.” (25:03-25:11)  • “Most people's TV screens are now being carried around in their pockets all day. Or it's become their tablet, or their laptop.” (29:36-29:45)   Links For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06    Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/   For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
“If you don't know at least some basic math, it's going to be very difficult not to lose money on marketing campaigns,” says Dmitrii Kustov, founder of Regex SEO. With the help of basic mathematical concepts, Dmitrii improves the digital presence of some of the top brands in the U.S. In today’s episode, host Alex Valencia sits down with Dmitrii to discuss the correlation between math and digital marketing and why every business owner needs to know their numbers before pushing content.  According to Dmitrii, the whole point of SEO and online marketing is to get actual results. That’s why it is crucial to analyze previous conversion rates before you put money into marketing. Once you understand past data, you can compile the numbers to design a campaign that will yield results.  Whether you spend a thousand or a million dollars on marketing, you need to know your money is working for you. So tune in to this week’s episode of The We Do Marketing Hour to learn how math and data analytics can improve the overall outcomes of your digital marketing campaigns.    Quotes • “If you have a progressive web app, it's not done correctly, Google and other bots won’t be able to crawl it.” (10:36-10:43) • “If you are spending a lot of money on website development and online marketing, make sure that you work with people who know what they're doing in terms of development.” (11:09-11:22) • “Even if you spend $1,000 or $1 million on a campaign, you need to be somewhat sure that that money will bring you results.” (12:21-12:33) • “Before you make any decisions on spending money, you need to have somebody look through past data and you need to look at your previous results so you can build something predictive.” (12:58-13:13) • “If you don't know at least some basic math, it's going to be very difficult as a business owner not to lose money on marketing campaigns.” (15:01-15:12) • “As a business owner make sure you have a tracking per marketing channel for the phone calls and then include that into your conversion rate calculations.” (20:54-21:11) • “The formula is conversion rate multiplied by lead to sale rate.” (22:02-22:08) • “Don't trust your gut, trust the data.” (34:11-34:13)   Links For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex, please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/   Link with Dmitrii on LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/digitalspaceman/   For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
Do you want to be the go-to practitioner in your area? Then you need to figure out how to master Google’s algorithm. In today’s episode, host Alex Valencia sits down with SEO experts Jason Hennessey and Seth Price to discuss recent search engine changes that you need to know about so you can maintain a strong online presence for your future clientele.  According to Seth Price, 10 years ago Google wasn't spending a lot of time considering user behavior signals. In the advancing age of search, Google primarily uses reviews and clicks to analyze patterns of consumer behavior. It's not enough to just know which ranking signals are working, you also need to know what environment each signal operates best in. You want to prioritize information that is going to be relevant and yield solid leads but in order to avoid penalization, Jason explains you need to stay within a threshold that appears natural to Google. Be conscious of the anchor texts, and links that you include in your content, and make a point to respond to all of your reviews in a timely manner. At the end of the day, it’s about balance; if you are diligent in following Google’s idea of a good user experience, your law firm will reap the benefits.  If what you're doing right now isn't working, it’s time for you to stop spinning your virtual wheels. Tune into this week's episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast to get the low-down on SEO content, marketing, and other 2021 best practices so you be the #1 lawyer in your area.  Quotes: “ I think one of the hardest things about SEO is that Google will tell you one thing, but that may or may not be true.” (09:16-09:09:21)  “Anywhere from 7-10% of your link equity should probably contain either naked links or your branded stuff.”  (14:44-14:51) It's now 2021, Google has had all this time, and local Spam is still infiltrating the world and causing problems in many markets, and they just don't seem to be putting the resources they could easily use to shut it down. Seth 21:18-21:32 “Don't be scared or intimidated to write content that you think you'd be competing nationally because Google is sophisticated enough now to understand where the IP address that somebody is doing the search versus the IP address of the firm.” (36:35-36:48) Default Links: Guests' LinkedIn Profiles -  https://www.linkedin.com/in/jhennessey/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/sethprice/  For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/ For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
In a white male-dominated industry, Sara Williams, Attorney at Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, is passionate about inspiring female and minority lawyers. After realizing the disappointing amount of women who left their professions during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sara was inspired to create a platform to support professional women. In today’s episode, host Alex Valencia and guest Sara Williams discuss ways to keep women in the workplace by redefining industry standards.  For decades, the legal field required lawyers to be in the office from sunup to sundown because older generations were convinced that productivity was reliant on being present. While this may have held some truth in the past, advancements in technology have made it possible to work from just about anywhere. When the pandemic struck and offices were forced to close, industries across the globe had no option but to adjust, and the results were pleasantly surprising. Despite most companies having successfully adjusted to working from home, women are still leaving their jobs at high rates. According to Sara, a decrease in the presence of women in the corporate world is a decrease in talent. In today’s society, the most significant benefit a job can offer is flexibility. Sara explains that allowing people to get the job done in and out of the office will allow employers to retain talent within their companies.  We have the ability to instill positive change in the ways we work in our industries; we just have to be willing to think outside of the box. Tune into this week’s episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast to learn the importance of women in the workforce and how your firm can implement flexibility in order to maintain skillful and diverse employees.  If you like what you hear, please follow and leave a review. Tune in every Wednesday wherever you get your podcasts!  Quotes: “I think it's important for society to become accustomed to seeing women in leadership, speaking about leadership, women owning their authenticity, and walking through the world powerfully.”(07:08-07:27) “My ultimate goal is to continue to inspire women to decide they can make the legal profession or whatever profession they're in what they want to make it.” (08:36-08:47) “And I think it’s clear that we have the ability to really change this industry and to change the way we work if we're willing to do it.” (12:30-12:38) “Being able to offer people flexibility allows us to retain talent for both male and females.” (17:00-17:08)  I think the most important thing about authenticity is being true to yourself and being happy with what you're doing.” (45:02-45:10) Default Links: Guest's Website - https://sarawilliamsesq.com/ For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/ For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
“The way mixed-race people have been portrayed and thought about historically to the present has been very contradictory,” says Dr. Sika Dagbovie- Mullins, Author of Crossing B(l)ack: Mixed-Race Identity in Modern American Fiction and Culture. Growing up in a mixed household, Dagbovie-Mullins has always been intrigued by mixed-race identity. Through her work as an author and African American literature professor, she continuously challenges traditional claims about biracial identification through a concept she calls “black-sentient mixed-race identity.” In today’s episode, Host Alex Valencia and guest Dr. Sika Dagbovie-Mullins sit down to discuss the ways in which biracial identities are portrayed in modern culture.  In recent decades, America has seen an increasing influx of biracial representation in fictional work and pop culture, but conversations around race are still uncomfortable for the average person, specifically white Americans. While we are seeing an increase in representation, Dagbovie-Mullins encourages people to take a deeper look into the messages being portrayed. There are many instances where pop culture is obsessed with fetishizing biracial people, specifically black and white. Dagbovie-Mullins explains the purpose of these fetishes as a way for America to deal with the fears and anxieties of dissolving whiteness.  Through her writing and analysis of pop culture figures, Dagbovie-Mullins challenges the race rules set in America by being attentive to the way personal paths collide with public perceptions. She explains that It is entirely possible to display the desire to be free of race roles, and people can be both black and mixed- race, without resisting black consciousness.  While there has been significant change in recent decades, there is still a lot more work that needs to be done to close the racial gap. Tune into this week’s episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast for a deep analysis of mixed-race identity and how it can impact those working in the legal field.  If you like what you hear, please follow, leave a review, and tune in Wednesdays wherever you get your podcasts!  Quotes: “I see myself as both mixed-race and black, and I don't see those things as opposed. Some people read those as separate, I read those as complementary to each other.” (11:21-11:35) “Whatever ethnicity we are, we should be talking to our kids about race because the reality is there is a lot of tension, and it's better to kind of be informed and comfortable about talking about it, then uncomfortable and pretending that we're all fine.” (20:06-20:20) “The way mixed-race people have been portrayed and thought about historically to the present has been very contradictory.” (01:11:07-01:11:13) “Representation matters, no matter who you are.” (01:16:52-01:16:55) Default Links: Guest Profile - https://www.fau.edu/artsandletters/english/faculty/dagbovie/  For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/ For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
“When it comes to your law firm, you need to make as many impressions as possible,” says Gary Sarner, Founder of ROI360PLUS. After 35 years of experience in advertising, Gary understands exactly what tools lawyers need to maximize their marketing. In today’s episode, host Alex Valencia and guest Gary Sarner, sitSarner sit down to discuss radio ads and why every law firm needs to be doing them.  According to Gary, a shocking “ 80% of law firms still spend their money on TV," and while TV advertising does generate new clientele,  there are massive amounts of missed opportunities on the radio, specifically for personal injury lawyers. Gary explains that when an injury or accident arises, the client is most likely not watching TV, so that’s why it's important to touch people where they are. If you redirect just a small percentage of your budget to advertising on the radio, you can be sure that your business will explode.  While radio advertising is proven to yield results, the most important component to the success of your firm’s advertising is your reputation. Nothing you say on-air will have any meaning until you are the trusted attorney in your community.  Whether you are a one-person firm, or a 300 -person firm, it is crucial to be active in the community by building relationships and a brand that people believe in. At the end of the day, “it’s not about how great the law firm is; it’s about how trusted the law firm is.”  Whether you’re in advertising or looking to improve advertising for your firm, you won’t want to miss this week’s episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast. Tune in for a straightforward conversation about radio ads, how to incorporate them, and why they are the golden opportunity to promote your firm.  If you like what you hear, please follow and, leave a review, and tune in Wednesdays wherever you get your podcasts!    Quotes: “If you aren't checking your spot times on a daily basis- if you're doing radio and TV- and auditing what you get on OTT in digital media, you need help because you have to do that.” (09:26-09:40) “Google gets the credit for probably 95% of all leads that come into law firms.” (12:30-12:38) “It's not about how great the law firm is; it's about how trusted the law firm is.” (16:13-16:18) “I find it shocking that over 80% of the law firms that are doing broadcast media still spend most of their money on TV. By the way, TV is amazing, but there's no car accident, or slip and fall happening while you're watching TV.” (19:21-14:42) “Well, I can tell you one thing, radio works, and TV works. If it didn't, you didn't buy it right and you sure as sh!t didn't have good creative. Because great creative, and being purchased right, will bring leads to any business out there.” (31:15-31:35) “If I can tell one thing to all you big TV guys, if you cut 10% of your TV budget and add it to the radio, you will explode.”(35:52-36:03) Default Links: Guest LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/garysarner/  For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/ For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
After two decades in the field of SEO and legal marketing, Jason Hennessey, CEO of Hennessey Digital, wanted to give back to his community. During the pandemic, he was inspired to write and publish his book Law Firm SEO: Exposing the Google Algorithm to Help You Get More Cases to educate and empower legal professionals on the magic of SEO. In today’s episode, host Alex Valencia and guest Jason Hennessey discuss how the SEO trifecta can help law firms get more cases.  At first, the concept of SEO can appear intimidating, but most people tend to overcomplicate it. SEO is realistically composed of three working parts: the integrity, content, and the popularity of the website. According to Jason, if you are attentive to these three areas, Google will work in your favor.   Google is searching for the ability to crawl through a website, see that it loads quickly, and doesn't contain duplicate content or broken links. It is necessary that a law firm owner knows what tools are needed to check and maintain the integrity of their website.  In addition, Google monetizes on content, so it becomes crucial for a firm to publish satisfying and relevant content on a consistent basis. Jason suggests paying attention to FAQs that come through your live chat and emails to help with content creation. In the end, a reputable website with applicable information will increase popularity and drive more traffic. While SEO can be the most powerful tool for a business, Jason also warns listeners on the existence of negative SEO. Stay on top of plugin updates to prevent your site from vulnerability to malware. Be aware of malicious attempts to ruin your credibility with spammy links and/or duplications of your website.  Tune in to this week’s episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast for a conversation about the simplicity of SEO. You won’t want to miss the chance to hear tips from industry expert Jason Hennessey on how to easily master the Google algorithm so that your firm can attain more clients and win more cases!  If you like what you hear, please follow and leave a review. Tune in every Wednesday wherever you get your podcasts!  Quotes: “I just wanted to clear the air, and I wanted people to actually become educated and empowered on how truly magical SEO is. And if it's done right, it can really make a radical difference to any business, but particularly your law firm.” (11:14-11:29) “Just the link value alone will make your website rank higher on Google for your terms.” (19:24-19:29) “Without content, Google can't monetize.” (21:01:21:04) “Google rewards websites that continue to publish content on a regular basis.” (21:33-21:38) “Just having a website that is technically sound and has really good content is just two pieces of the puzzle. You got to then include that third piece, which is popularity.” (24:23-24:32) “Negative SEO is real, and I just want people to be aware of that.” (38:19-38:22) Default Links: Purchase Jason’s Book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1544519370/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=jasontracking-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=1544519370&linkId=232c5b9237c320dab5a895ac9066e1d1  For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/ For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
Every business owner envisions hiring a dream team, but why are so few successful in doing so?  “Turns out it's easier to identify who will not work out than it is to identify who will work out,” says Jay Henderson, performance expert and author of The Ultimate Small Business Guide to Hiring Super-Stars. In today’s episode, host Alex Valencia and guest speaker Jay Henderson discuss how hiring decisions can affect a law firm’s success.  Approach the hiring process with the mindset of protecting your business. It is costly and painful to hire the wrong people and your business will pay a price. According to Jay, it is important to learn as much information about someone as possible before you make the decision to bring them onto your team. Don’t rush into hiring people; if someone makes a good first impression, sit on it and get to know them more. You want to understand not just the good, but also any issues that the prospect will bring to your firm.  Once your firm makes those good hiring decisions, your employees’ success depends on your firm’s leadership. Jay explains that it is critical for leadership to reduce distractions that can get in the way of employees’ success. Leadership should create one goal that all the employees commit to. Further, if you allow employees to have a say in how the firm is run, accountability will come naturally. At the end of the day, employees want to be respected, so if you create a culture based on respect, you will produce a high-performing team.  Tune in to this episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast for a conversation about how Jay’s system helps law firms create and develop long-term, productive teams. What's their problem-solving ability? How good is their judgment? Where are the biases focused? What will they see and what will they naturally miss.” (25:19-25:31) “Turns out that it's easier to identify who will not work out than it is to identify who will work out.” (25:44-25:52) “Your goal when you're hiring is to learn everything you possibly can about the person.” (28:18-28:23) If your gut says to hire that person, don't listen to that. It doesn't mean don't hire them. I just mean keep looking at them and try to be objective if you can.  But if your gut tells you don't hire that person, you should listen to that. (38:28-38:40)  “There is so much waste going on in our firms that it's astounding. And it's not hard to make tweaks. It's actually quite simple to make the tweaks to make the changes that bring the greatest benefit.” (44:57-45:14)  Links https://www.jayhenderson.org/ For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/ For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com
“76% of lawyers are saying that they are overworked” and spend too many hours doing administrative tasks, says Maddy Martin, VP of Marketing at Smith.ai. In today’s episode, your host Alex Valencia and guest speaker Maddy will discuss ways your firm can convert more clients from SEO traffic with the use of virtual receptionists and live chats.  One of the key elements to retaining online leads is mastering responsiveness. In fact, two-thirds of clients’ decision making comes from the initial response from the law firm. Maddy says there are three components to mastering responsiveness: speed, channel (where your content lives), and the content itself.  As a law firm’s owner, you do not have enough time in the day to tend to all of this and do your job, making it necessary for you to implement effective systems so your firm can continue to maintain and grow.  According to Maddy, delegating tasks to virtual assistants and live chats will allow your firm to have ongoing, personal, and compassionate communication with potential clients that will drive up your lead conversion. Studies have shown that live chatting has the potential to increase lead conversion by over 20%. In addition, it simultaneously allows for your firm to screen clients faster because almost half of your potential clients prefer the convenience of online chat. Whether you’re just opening your doors and you want to capture every lead, or you've been in practice for years and want to be more effective at screening leads, your business can benefit from virtual receptionists and live chat.  Tune in to this episode of The We Do Marketing Hour podcast. You won’t want to miss this incredible conversation about how to implement these customizable systems so your firm can grow while serving clients better and faster!  If you like what you hear, please subscribe and leave a review, and tune in wherever you get your podcasts!  Quotes: “Leads are very much fleeting in the same way, easily lost if you're not paying close attention right in the moment to them. So it's critical that you pay attention to them at those moments of optimal conversion.”  (07:26- 07:41)  “The biggest drop-off which also happens to be the biggest factor in the decision making process for the client - is right after that marketing hits.” (14:22- 14:35)  “93% of leads convert after the sixth call attempt.” (28:13-28:18)  “About 24% of the leads that are coming through are contacting the firm after hours- this is a wide range of practice areas - and 15% of the chat leads are net new - meaning they were not otherwise calling, emailing, filling in the contact form, etc. They actually only engaged when there was chat.” (44:02- 44:25)  Default Links: Link with Maddy on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/madelainemartin/ For a FREE 1:1 consultation with Alex please visit: https://calendly.com/wdwc-alex/15min?month=2021-06  Link with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wedowebcontent/ For guest speaker and topic requests, please send all inquiries to We Do Web Content’s Director of Marketing Dina Davis, at contact@thewedomarketinghour.com

in the thick of the COVID-19 outbreak it is not just human lives at stake, but businesses as well.  Many companies are overwhelmed with an abundance of state and federal mandates, as well as employee concerns that are changing the way we do business.  2020 started with owners and executives conducting business as usual.  Managers were putting a pre-coronavirus business plan to action, accounting departments paid bills and issues paychecks while administrators and HR representatives focused on hiring and retention.  Now, what happens post coronavirus, do we freeze up and hope things will just go back to normal, or should we be proactive in getting in-front of how we manage our business in this new world?    Today we have new legislation and state mandates being written every day that affects our businesses.  CARES Act, Social Security Tax Deferral, furloughing vs. termination were not topics on the agenda a few months ago.  As federal and state governments issue new emergency orders, and the government continues to provide economic relief packages, do you know how they may affect your business?  Do you have professional support to help navigate payroll, benefits, workers comp, and HR issues as they relate to your business?  What is your go-forward business plan? https://www.totalbizgroup.com/ We Do Web Content: Legal Marketing
