Sometimes men find it hard to express themselves and speak, understanding a safe space has to be created.. today a space has opened , the men in my life want to talk just a little bit about being a dad and how much they love there father .
Using you body to fill the voids of rejection, wanting to be loved, liked, or even yo get a person to stay.. but sex doesn’t keto a person.. they have to want to stay freely on their own! Value your body, know what your worth.
Taking a leap of faith and becoming courageous enough to leave our home town. Pushing through the difficulty of leaving behind loved ones, the guilt, growth, ups and downs .. but determined to Never turn back! Speaking on the truth of letting go and truly letting God guide us in unfamiliar territory. Becoming successful and growing tremendously in our faith and love for our newness upon life on new grounds!
The current journey to unlearning bad habits and the things we are taught by our parents, and the standardized perception of life! Also learning that with being in therapy, a lot of our ways are we considered normal.. is very toxic and unhealthy.
Where you taught to love yourself by your parents? Or was it something you learn for others outside the home? A in-depth conversation on how self love was discovered through therapy and pain. Who would’ve known that not knowing how to love yourself properly could be so painful, but discovering the beauty and blessing of it when becoming self aware.
Religion Vs. Personal Relationship and the affect it’s has on you growing up, and learning what’s taught out of tradition and unlearning those religious upbringings and gaining a true relationship with God.
Who said mental therapy isn’t ok? Where did the stigma within the black community come from where seeing a therapist is frowned upon?
Physically in this world we see blacks being murdered by white cops... but it deeper than color.. it’s pure SIN!
