Welcome back to Schauer Thoughts, this week will be a quick regrouping from last week’s topic - due to new information on the skin’s own “HPA axis” I do have to pause on my autism-schizophrenia-epilepsy theory to properly segment information, inputs, outputs, etc. I will absolutely be returning to this theory in the future. While we wait for that update, please enjoy the episode! I will be discussing the new emerging field(s) of psychodermatology and neurodermatology and why the intersection of psychiatry, psychology, dermatology, and neuroscience are incredibly helpful for anyone with skin and/or psychological disorders, diseases, and conditions OR both. Ohhh. Nuance for the crowd: I am absolutely not advising that you stop taking any medication that your physician has prescribed. I am strongly advising that before you act on anything I’ve said here, you take the information to your licensed physician and speak through all of it, getting their input and expertise, before moving forward with anything - if you so choose. I am well aware that just because conditions overlap does not mean they are the same.  I am not promising the “cure” for anything - I am offering more resources and experts to check out if you feel like you need more information on things brain, skin, and psychology related.  It is very unlikely that a board-certified dermatologist can help you directly with psychological issues. They are incredibly knowledgeable and more than qualified to discuss skin, however “psychodermatology” and “neurodermatology” require dual-board certifications. If you want to find someone who is a licensed psychodermatologist (in the US) I recommend checking out this directory. Association for Psychoneurocutaneous Medicine of North America https://psychodermatology.us/find-psychodermatologist/ Yes, there are limited options, but this is a new field and it does take time to build expertise, especially dual-board expertise. Thank you for listening and thank you to the professionals who help me with pronunciation, I greatly appreciate it.  Books: NUANCE FOR BOOKS: While I do trust Dr. Perricone’s expertise and recommend The Beauty Molecule, he does own a major brand and is trying to sell things throughout the book so I would strongly recommend reading Clean by James Hamblin first as he extensively discusses FDA regulations, what has been proven for treatments, and what has not. He will help inform your dermatological mindset and I do believe his alignments will help significantly when going through The Beauty Molecule. The Beauty Molecule: Introducing Neuroceuticals, The Breakthrough for Ageless Beauty - Nicholas Perricone, MD Clean: The New Science of Skin and the Beauty of Doing Less - James Hamblin Organ Speak: What It Means to Really Listen to Our Bodies - Giulia Enders The Exquisite Machine: The New Science of the Heart - Sian E. Apologies for the late upload! I cannot stress how absolutely devastated I am that I recorded for forty minutes towards the end and only video (not audio) recorded! There will absolutely be a part two to this because I have much more to say and share! That aside, please enjoy this weeks episode of Schauer Thoughts, we are going on a long journey through the land of light and LEDs so hide your vitamins and slather on the sunscreen because subject-matter will be quite photoDEGRADING. Ayo! Word play *untz untz* I will also be discussing my research on the *historically* shared diagnosis of autism, schizophrenia, and epilepsy and *part of* my theory for why that was. Again, I must apologize because the part that tied them all together was included in the portion that did not have audio.  What I am NOT saying here:  Artificial lighting is universally bad. Artificial lighting is the sole cause of any chronic/ immune/ psychological disease, disorder, or diagnosis. There is nothing to be done to protect yourself, your vitamins, your health from light pollution. Vitamins and turning off your lights are the cure for everything! Remember folks, nuance! And yes, absolutely feel free to run this by your dietician, PCP, therapist, etc. Please enjoy and know that more resources are coming. Welcome back to Schauer Thoughts, this week we’re covering vast expanses of the topical board, and yes, I checked my medication and realized I did not take my Vyvanse. Thanks to that ADHD misstep we will be going over: a *potential* case of securities fraud, the ins and outs of heart failure, erectile tissue in the nose, what’s happening with Russia and what it means for American elections, as well as a new documentary coming out on *slams head against wall* Elon Musk.  Thank you all for your continued support, it means the absolute world to me. I would just like to say, if your child was automatically enrolled into a Trump Kids Account, please strongly consider picking up “The Second Estate” (listed below) as it’ll give you an amazing primer into why the Trump Kids accounts are a bad idea and potential ways to navigate the situation. There will be a separate episode on that coming soon. Hope you all enjoy this weeks episode! Welcome back to Schauer Thoughts, this week we’re covering my 32nd birthday, what Donald Trump said about Los Angeles and San Diego, as well as going over some climate-related menstrual nuance. Is that a wide range of discussion points? Yes, but that is the essence of Schauer Thoughts, so get ready to go on a topical saga! Thank you all for accepting that I am a human being on SSRIs in a heat wave so tears (light Schauers) are normal. I appreciate you all and can’t wait for you to listen to this week’s episode. We Are All Jane Doe

We Are All Jane Doe

2026-09-3001:09:411

Welcome back to Schauer Thoughts, this week we will be discussing the “Cornell 7” and the horrific gang rape of Jane Doe. I am so mad and you should be too, rape is a systemic issue and we all need to stand up and demand answers, demand accountability, and demand a world where justice can swiftly and with the full force of the law be served.  Discussion of the “Cornell 7” does begin at the later half of the episode but please know it’s not because I am pushing it’s importance to the back, it’s because this exact thing has happened to me and I’m allowed to discuss it at my own pace. Thank you for understanding. Nuance for my rant on Jimmy Carter: He did try more than *one* environmental initiative and did create CERCLA (I appreciate that) but he could have done so much more and did not. If my direct communities - farmers and those I’ve been elected to represent (the people of the United States) lives were on the line, I would have done so much more.  SA Resources Substack Post  https://substack.com/home/post/p-218383219  The letter count wouldn’t let me add all these resources so I put them into a Substack post - please visit for resources and ways to get involved.
