Wow! is the only word that is fitting for this experience. The tour is great, and a tasting of the four core offerings from Michter's is always delightful. Earlier this month we recieved a blind flight from my sister and brother-in-law. Kentucky Straight Bourbons finished in Honey Barrels. That was a lot of fun for us, and for Faith and Tim. So we picked a few bottles and sent them 4 samples to blindly try. No theme, no set category, just some bottles we particularly enjoyed!!
This J. Rieger barrel pick from the Kansas City Whiskey Guild is something else! Coming in at 142.6 proof, it packs quite the punch! This rye isn't going to bed early!
