Remus begged for the wolf to scratch at it, to remove it from his body, but Moony stayed stubborn and kept it there, new scars surrounded it, but never over it. But now, as Sirius Black stands in his kitchen, drinking a cup of tea with a five-year-old Harry on his hip, he’s quite glad it’s still there.
