I am going to have to pause the podcast presentation of Retcon; it is simply unsustainable. This gives you all the details & explanations, but that's the gist. You can, of course, still read them; links here: https://stephenfrug.com/retcon-a-mosaic-narrative-in-three-movements/
Story #2 of Retcon. A woman returns in time to die, and falls in love with a man who is destined to go forward into an unknown future. Someone gets eaten by a tiger. It's either a comedy or a tragedy, but it's hard to tell which.

The first story in Retcon: A Mosaic Story! Scientists involved in a secret research program investigating time travel meet a time traveler, who tells them that no information (neither people nor messages) is coming from any point beyond April 4, 2031, at 3:56 in the afternoon… the time known as "zero second". I should say the audio, and the reading, are a bit shaky in the first half. I will try to upload some fixes when I get a chance. In the meantime, bear with me; the second half is better. If it drives you too crazy, try the ebook (at least for the first half).

This is simply the introduction to the series, describing what this podcast is going to be. If you skip ahead to the first proper episode, I'll be repeating all the essential (non-spoilery) points there. To purchase the ebooks (available starting March 9, 2031) go to https://stephenfrug.com/retcon-a-mosaic-narrative-in-three-movements/ where you can buy them directly, or find links to various other vendors. And subscribe to my substack (https://stephenfrug.substack.com/) to receive regular updates, as well as essays and links and other stuff.
