Gretchen Rubin once wrote “The days are long but the years are short” and for many of us we can readily agree with this statement. In todays passage we are reminded of a sobering truth: our lives are like a mist that appears for a while, then vanishes. How then shall we live?
Can the single believer really be completely fulfilled or does that take place only within the context of marriage and family? This morning we have a really great message from guest speaker Revd Kenny Chee that speaks not only to the issue of fulfillment as a single but to those who are married as well. Prepare your heart and open your ears to the word of the Lord today.
This morning Revd Daniel opens the scriptures from James 4:1-10 and explores how conflict in community often flows from “passions” within us, leading us to an important question: What can we do to deal with these passions?
