It's wonderful to see a mother and daughter as close as I was with my mom. She was surrounded by sisters growing up so naturally she bonded immensely with me. People around the neighborhood called us Siamese twins we were so inseparable as I was growing up. Although I had no sisters, my mom was a friend and big sister to me. Even when I married we stayed close mostly by phone also. I was blessed to have known her and have had such a mom who in my opinion passed too young at 98.

I was sorry when I first found out on the news that the Devitos had split but as Mrs. Devitos has stated these things happen and we have to make the best of whatever life has to offer. After all is said and done the children that come out of a marriage is the important aspect of a marriage as I've been through myself.

Thank you for having Carol Burnett on " Wiser Than Me" I treasure every moment spent listening to her many experiences in life and learning more about her than what I've read in magazines and newspapers. Even reading books written about her don't even come close to her sharing with us!

I remembered when I first started wearing makeup and was so excited about being a glamour girl because the models and fashion magazines were my guide to being beautiful. They were my role models and I still admire and long to emulate the grace, discipline and care it takes to look put together and lovely!

I have always loved dancing as my dad was such a good dancer himself, sometimes dancing around the house for no reason with no music on. He radiated happiness wherever he went and I hope I always have his joy of just being alive and living!

Thank you for this beautiful episode Mrs. Hall of Julie Andrews which I believe is very uplifting especially the part of laughter is the best medicine. I was ten in 1965 when "The Sound of Music" was made and many years later enjoyed watching it again and again particularly the puppet show with my grandchild.

I'll be 70 in a few months and the only advice I can give out is rest, relax and smile a lot as Goldie Hawn suggested. A great example was my mom who lived with a happy outlook till 98.
