Sometimes life gets busy and we have things come up that take priority or get in the way of staying consistent. It's much easier to build a creative freelancing career when you feel inspired, your studio is clean, and you finally have that new gear you've been wanting. But what about when you're traveling, when family comes first, or when you are neck-deep in procrastinating? In today's episode, Daniel and I (Hugh) catch you up on what's been going on in our lives as of late, and we evaluate if we've been practicing what we preach on this show. We hope that you enjoy listening to us share some of the things that helped us become better creators, and we hope that you take something away that enables you to feel inspired to create more wholeheartedly. What happens when you go viral? In this week's episode, Daniel and I discuss our experiences with going viral. We break our opinions down into 3 main viewpoints, talk about how going viral can affect someone, and dive into some of the misconceptions we've had about what it means to be "Viral". Do you feel connected to your inner child when creating? Recently Daniel and I have been taking a "time out" to reconnect with ourselves and restore our creative energy. During this time we've noticed how important it is for us to be connected to our inner child when we create, but what does that look like? How do you prioritize adult things like growing your business, sticking to a schedule, marketing, and the list goes on, while also making sure that you don't lose your wonder for creating? Today Daniel and I are sharing how we are currently going about this in our own lives. We hope that you enjoy listening to us share some of the things that helped us become better creators, and we hope that you take something away that enables you to feel inspired to create more wholeheartedly. Today Daniel and I are breaking down Four Levels of Freelancing and why we find it helpful to have an understanding of which level we are on. Just typing the above sentence made me cringe a bit, however, I stand by what I said. Daniel and I both thrive from having goals to help keep up on track while growing our freelance careers, but sometimes it's hard to know what your goals are until you have a broader view of the different "levels" of freelancing. We've found that this has helped us manage our work better, and even more so, it has continued to relieve loads of stress that come with building a freelancing business by helping us set better expectations for ourselves. We hope that you enjoy listening to us share some of the things that helped us become better creators, and we hope that you take something away that helps you feel inspired to create more wholeheartedly. In today's episode, we discuss our top three takeaways from tour and travel filmmaking. Let's set the scene. Hugh just got back from his first tour. Daniel just finished a big music video project he was out traveling for. After returning from three weeks out on the road, Hugh gives insight into how he planned the tour, stayed sane while traveling with four people and gear in a honda civic, and how the team worked together to make their first tour a success. Daniel just finished up a huge music video project he was working on in the western United States. He shares how he tackled filming out in the desert for a full band, stayed flexible while working on a tight time frame, and created a routine that helped him reset after 15-hour filming days. We hope that you enjoy listening to us share some of the things that helped us become better creators, and we hope that you take something away that helps you feel inspired to create more wholeheartedly. Healthy Collaborations

Healthy Collaborations

It's our first episode! We are so excited to share some of our stories with you today as we talk about Healthy Collaborations.  Daniel Cunningham and I (Hugh Lindsey) started working together in 2021 after meeting in early 2020. We both hit it off creatively over coffee and casual meet-ups, but we weren't sure what it was going to look like to actually collaborate on a project together. We both had busy schedules and were grinding away at our individual projects. Plus we both knew that allowing someone into our creative process meant that we had the risk of disappointment if things didn't go well.  I think this is something a lot of creators and artists deal with when thinking about collaborating...or maybe I'm wrong and it's just us. You be the teller of your own story.  Anyway, Daniel and I both believe that collaboration is a crucial and extremely helpful part of the creative journey, especially when you find someone that you really mesh with.   We hope that you enjoy listening to us share our experiences with Healthy Collaborations, and we hope that you take something away from this episode that helps you feel inspired and create more wholeheartedly.  If you found this episode helpful or enjoyable in any way, please leave us a review or a 5-star rating and help us get out into the podcast world.  You can learn more about Daniel and me (Hugh) by following the links below to our socials where we are actively sharing the things we create with the world.  Daniel Cunningham https://www.youtube.com/@danielwcunningham https://www.instagram.com/danielwcunningham/ Hugh Lindsey https://solo.to/hughlindsey https://hughlindsey.com https://instagram.com/hughlindseyofficial
