Description

Hometown Ghost Stories dives into the history of haunted locations and investigates why and how these places earned their terrifying reputation. Rob, Dave and Jesse go live every Tuesday night, after a 15-20 minute uninterrupted, documentary-style breakdown on the case. You can even join the show - as many do, during the live broadcasts on YouTube, Tuesday nights at 9pm EST, as we talk ghosts, demons, poltergeists, and the horrifying true tales that led to these hauntings.

Nestled in the center of the mountainous town of Llanfihangel Crucorney, Wales, is one of europes oldest and most haunted taverns. According to local legend, from approximately 1110 to 1658ad, the Skirrid Mountain Inn, served as a courthouse. During that time, approximately 180 people were reportedly executed by hanging, many from an oak beam that still sits in the inns staircase today. Join us as we explore the hauntings associated with those deaths and see why they leave a cup for the devil on the fireplace mantle every night.Watch the FULL INVESTIGATION: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs9_XYQt8j4&t=1323sBecome a supporter on Patreon!https://www.patreon.com/hometownghoststoriesMusic by Jesse Wilkins and Seth WilkinsNEW ALBUM OUT NOW! The Skirrid Inn has stood at the foot of a Welsh mountain serving drinks for centuries, and the old beam that was once above its staircase still carries the marks of the people who were hanged there. Every night, before the doors are locked, someone fills the Devil’s Cup behind the bar, because no one wants to find out what happens if it’s left empty. Upstairs, guests who stay in Room 2 have woken to the feeling that something is in the room with them, and the people who know the inn best call it a demon. When we gathered our biggest group investigation yet in that bar, we expected the dead to answer, but we weren’t ready for how many of them would.MERCH: http://hometownghoststories.com Become a supporter on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/hometownghoststories Join the Discord! https://discord.gg/cJHjX3B6qX Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHnk8lQr-uMiMGEghVQ5LyQ/join Follow our Review Channel! https://www.youtube.com/@HTGSReviews Hosted on Acast. Although the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire has been known for its industrial influence, it has also endured the trials of plague, war and violence. Many of its buildings were destroyed in the Leeds blitz of 1941. One of the buildings that survived the bombing is The Priest’s Cottage. Historically it served as a chapel as well as the home of a priest and his wife. Today, the building is believed to be haunted by its former occupants as well as several of the war casualties of the 1941 bombings. Earlier this year we had the opportunity of investigating this location and it turned out to be one of the most active we’ve ever seen. Join us as we delve into the history and hauntings of The Priest’s CottageWATCH THE FULL EPISODE HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuLJTJgoWMsBecome a supporter on Patreon!https://www.patreon.com/hometownghoststoriesMusic by Jesse Wilkins and Seth WilkinsNEW ALBUM OUT NOW!
