In this episode, Andy, Wes, and Nolan tackle all things vacation. Andy shares about his family vacation, and Wes shares the difference between a vacation and a trip. No conversation about vacations would be complete without some good quotes from National Lampoon's Vacation. After a quick talk through the recently released 2024 SEC football schedules, the guys discuss how spiritual growth works and the idea that there are times or places in our lives where we get stuck or have prolonged times of dryness. Nolan shares about two books he's been reading on the topic, and the guys finish by thinking about how to move forward in times that are trying.
Andy and Wes left Matthew and Nolan alone with the podcast, and they ended up recording a special episode all about the Holy Spirit. In the episode, they diverge from the normal format, share their own hunger and journey seeking more of the Lord, experiencing the presence and power of the Spirit, and ways to keep growing.
In this episode, Andy, Matthew, Nolan, and Wes discuss what constitutes "good" country music and some of their favorites. This week, Andy, Nolan, and Wes talk all things cringe. Great cringe moments in comedy, shock comedy, and cringe moments in sports (Ole Miss baseball and Auburn football). That leads to a conversation around humility and pride, how it shows up in our lives, and what the remedy is.

We share the best and most unexpected concerts we've seen and then check in on life in the sports world. In the faith segment, we take all the talk about celebrities and talk about when fandom crosses the line to idolatry, what idolatry looks like in today's world, and how we might stay vigilant to not let things slip into a place that only God belongs.“When anything in life is an absolute requirement for your happiness and self-worth, it is essentially an 'idol,' something you are actually worshiping.” - Tim Keller from Counterfeit Gods
