These were a series of murders of mostly sex workers spanning from the early 1990s to 2011. Former senior intelligence official and special agent, Luis “Lue” Elizondo, was recruited into the US government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, a $22 million program sponsored by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to study UFOs. Lue resigned in 2017 in protest of excessive government secrecy regarding UFOs.
