this is a LibriVox recording all LibriVox recordings are in the public domain for more information please visit librivox.orgtoday's reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen chapters one to three read by Chris govinge chapter one it is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife however little known the feelings or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighborhood this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families that he is considered the rightful property of someone or other of their daughters My Dear Mr Bennett said his lady to him one day have you heard that netherfield Park is let at last Mr Bennett replied that he had not but it is returned sheet for which is long has just been here and she told me all about it Mr Bennett made no answer do you not want to know who has taken it cried his wife impatiently you want to tell me and I have no objection to hearing it this was invitation enough why my dear you must know Mrs long says that netherfield is taken by a young man of large Fortune from the north of England that he came down on Monday in a chasing four to see the place and was so much delighted with it as he agreed with Mr Morris immediately that he's to take possession before Mickey Mouse and some of his servants are to be in the house by the end of the week what is his name Bingley is she married or single oh single my dear to be sure a single man of large Fortune four or five thousand a year what a fine thing for our girls how so how can it affect them My Dear Mr Bennett replied his wife how can you be so tiresome you must know that I'm thinking of his marrying one of them is that his design in settling here sign nonsense how can you talk so but it is very likely that he may fall in love with one of them and therefore you must visit him as soon as he comes I see no occasion for that you and the girls may go or you may send them by themselves which perhaps will be still better for as you are as handsome as any of them Mr bingy might like you the best of the party my dear you flatter me I certainly have had my share of beauty but I do not pretend to be anything extraordinary now when a woman has five grown-up daughters sure to give overthinking of her own Beauty in such cases a woman has not often much Beauty to think of but my dear you must indeed go and see Mr Bingley when he comes into the neighborhood it is more than I engage for I assure you but consider consider your daughters only think what an establishment it would be for one of them Sir William and Lady Lucas are determined to go merely on that account for in general you know they visit no newcomers indeed you must go so it will be impossible for us to visit him if you do not you are over scrupulous surely I dare say Mr Bingley will be very glad to see you and I will send him a few lines by you to assure him of my hearty consensus marrying whichever he chooses of the girls though I must throw in a good word for my little Lizzy I desire you will do no such thing Lizzy is not a bit better than the others I'm sure she's not half so handsome as Jane nor half so good human is Lydia but you're always giving her the preference they have none of them much to recommend them applied he they are all silly and ignorant like other girls But Lizzy has something more of quickness than her sisters Mr Bennett how can you abuse your own children in such a way you take Delight in vexing me you have no compassion for my poor nerves you mistake me my dear I have a high respect for your nerves they are my old friends I've heard you mention them with consideration these last 20 years at least ah you do not know what I suffer but I hope you will get over it and live to see many young men of 4 000 a year come into the neighborhood there'll be no use to us if 20 such should come since you will not visit them depend upon us my dear that when there were 20 I will visit them all Mr Bennett was so odd a mixture of quick Parts sarcastic humor reserve and Caprice they're the experience of three and twenty years had been insufficient to make his wife understand his character her mind was less difficult to develop she was a woman of mean understanding little information and uncertain temper when she was discontented she fancied herself nervous the business of her life was to get her daughters married Solace was visiting and news chapter 2. Mr Bennett was among the earliest of those who waited on Mr Bingley he had always intended to visit him though to the last always assuring his wife he should not go until the evening after the visit was paid she had no knowledge of it it was then disclosed in the following manner observing his second daughter employed in trimming a hat he suddenly addressed her with I hope Mr Bingley will like it Lizzy we are not in a way to know what Mr Bingley liked said her mother resentfully since we are not to visit but you forget Mama Said Elizabeth that we shall meet him at the assemblies and his long promise to introduce him I do not believe Mrs long will do any such thing she has two nieces of her own she's a selfish hypocritical woman and I have no opinion of her no more have I said Mr Bennett and I'm glad to find that you'd not depend on her serving you Mrs Bennett's deigned not to make any reply but unable to contain herself began scolding one of her daughters don't keep coughing so Kitty For Heaven's Sake have a little compassion on my nerves you tear them to pieces she has no discretion in her coughs said her father she timed them ill I do not cough my own Amusement of Applied Kitty Faithfully when is your next ball to be Lizzy tomorrow Fortnight I so it is cried her mother and Mrs long did not come back till the day before so it'd be impossible for her to introduce him for she will not know him herself then my dear you may have the advantage of your friend and introduce Mr Bingley to her impossible Mr Bennett it's impossible when I am not acquainted with him myself how can you be so teasing I honor your circumspection a fortnight's acquaintance is certainly very little one cannot know what a man really is by the end of a fortnight but if we do not Venture somebody else will and after all Mrs long and her daughters must stand their chance and therefore as she will think it's an act of kindness if you decline the office I will take it on myself the girl stared at their father Mrs Bennett said only nonsense nonsense what can be the meaning of that emphatic exclamation cried he do you consider the forms of introduction and the stress that is laid on them as nonsense I cannot quite agree with you there what see you Mary for you are a young lady of deep reflection I know and read great books and make extracts maybe wished to say something sensible but she knew not how while Mary is adjusting her ideas he continued Let Us return to Mr Bingley I am sick of Mr Bingley quite his wife I am sorry to hear that but why did you not tell me that before if I had known as much this morning I certainly would not have called on him it is very unlikely but as I have actually paid the visit we cannot escape the acquaintance now the astonishment of the ladies was just what he wished that of Mrs Bennett perhaps surpassing the rest though when the first tumult of Joy was over she began to declare that it was what she had expected all the while how good it was in you my dear Mr Bennett but I knew I should persuade you at last I was sure you loved your girls too well to neglect such an acquaintance well how pleased I am and it is such a good joke too that you should have gone this morning and never said a word about it till now now Kitty you may cough as much as you choose said Mr Bennett and as he spoke he left the room fatigued with the raptures of his wife what an excellent father you have girl said she when the door was shut I do not know how you will ever make amends of his kindness or me either for that matter that's our time of life it is not so pleasant I can tell you to be making new acquaintances every day but for your sakes we would do anything Lydia my love though you are the youngest I dare seems to Bingley will dance with you at the next ball oh said Lydia stoutly I am not afraid for though I am the youngest I'm the tallest the rest of the evening was spent in conjecturing how soon he would return Mr Bennett's visit and determining when they should ask him to dinner chapters to me not all that Mrs Bennett however with the assistance of her five daughters could ask on the subject was sufficient to draw from her husband any satisfactory description of Mr Bingley they attacked him in various ways with barefaced questions ingenious suppositions and distant surmises but eluded the skill of them all and they were at last obliged to accept the second-hand intelligence of their neighbor lady Lucas her report was highly favorable so William had been delighted with him he was quite young wonderfully handsome extremely agreeable and to Crown the hole he meant to be at the next assembly with a large party nothing could be more delightful to be fond of dancing was a certain step towards Falling in Love and very Lively hopes of Mr bingley's heart were entertained I can but see one of my daughters happily settled at netherfield said Mrs Bennett to her husband and all the others equally well married I shall have nothing to wish for in a few days Mr Bingley returned to Mr Bennett's visit and sat about 10 minutes with him in his Library he had entertained hopes of being admitted to a site of the young ladies of whose Beauty he had heard much but he saw only the father the ladies were somewhat more fortunate for they had the advantage of ascertaining from an upper window that he wore a blue coat and rode a black horse an invitation to dinner was soon afterwards dispatched and already had Mrs Bennett's plan with the courses that were to do credit to her housekeeping when
hi guys welcome to the weekend wow I'm feeling really rather relaxed actually I didn't do so much yesterday I sort of took a little bit of time out for some self-care so I braided my hair and it's interesting how therapeutic braiding your hair can be ah here's Romeo come to join us because he likes to join me every day now while I'm broadcasting hello Romeo how are you today um so yes braiding hair but people always say me oh God how long does it take you must take you forever well the first lot obviously takes about 5 hours but I don't do the whole lot every day I do about four or five every day yesterday I probably did about 10 and I just you know sit and relax and plat and it's really really lovely it's a lovely movement it gets your hands and your arms in a different position to typing which I do a lot of off always on a computer so it's really good exercise I mean it sounds bizarre doesn't it but you're lifting you know to to attach them to my scalp I my hands are over my head and that's really good for me because of my arthritis I need to keep Nimble and keep moving um and then you've got all this finger movement and the finger movement is really good because I'm a penist and a cellist so that keeps everything really nimbl you see what I mean so doing these four or five braids every day every night is a sort of exercise but it's also very very it's a hypnotic repetitive motion and I'm I'm really into the idea that these hypnotic repetitive motions give you ironically some sort of um purpose and Clarity it's really interesting I'm doing all this music therapy obviously I've launched this music therapy um project and when you're listening to music therapy it's quite good to do something that's repetitive it doesn't take any thought you you're in autopilot do you see what I mean um and I just think it all really works well together so I've started doing some other things like moisturizing my when you get older your skin especially on your shins gets really really dry and also bizarrely your ears and you can get a lot of discomfort inside your ears so I've started doing this sort of ritualistic moisturizing as well um in the evenings when I'm you know when I'm no longer or I'm forcing myself to stop working and I've really started to do that because at one time I was just working working working working until sort of 2: in the morning and now the websites are all built and I've done all that it's time to you know do some other things that are about self-care self-care is really important and self-care can be the tiniest thing you know Plumping up your pillows to making the beds or I mean I don't ever make mine just very seldom made as it were because of Romeo because he he lounges and I don't want him on top of the duv I prefer him you know his side of the bed he's got a side he's there now looking at me at his side of the bed I mean he really is just a husband um occasionally I'll go off and do something and I'll come back and he's sitting on my side cleaning his Nethers and I'm just like what are you doing and sometimes I have to give him a little shove off it's quite rather amusing um anyway I'm going to have a bit of a day off I'm going to go off into a t-shirt now and a swimsuit um for the shop because I didn't do one yesterday and I I don't know I feel a bit I felt a bit empty because again it's become sort of ritualistic and the ringtones are ritualistic you know they're very quick now I really wasn't in the mood to do one of those yesterday I wasn't in a a tech mood I'd had enough Tech to last me a very long time so I wanted to plat hair and watch films and you know do stuff that was kind of monotonous but still had a thoughtful purpose I guess that's it isn't it sometimes you get that from if you enjoy housework but I really don't enjoy housework it's not a thing I've ever enjoyed um I I can swear hand on heart that I have never ever done anything housewifey that has been a pleasure in my entire life so so be it I mean I have to you know wash up and things like that but I don't enjoy it I mean I like the result I like look you know looking at the wonderful self-satisfied result I enjoy that bit but the getting there I just find you know moving dirt from one place to another I don't like that at all do you um anyway so story time to starting the book club which I think will be very very nice for us so um I'll do that every morning we'll we'll upload one every morning and if I get time I'll do a bit of music for you guys but the chances of me actually getting time you know I'm so busy with you know entrepreneurial advancement as I Forge ahead with making my millions or trillions I wonder if I should aim for more than a million I it's not very much is it anymore I mean when I was a girl growing up you know I never met a millionaire now they're all over the internet aren't they I suppose they were all over the place then but they weren't on the internet I guess you'd read about them in the times or something but um I I didn't know of any I mean Richard Branson I knew about because he was producing records on his label virgin and so we we all knew back in those days the record labels Emi was it Emi or is that a magazine no I can't remember now it's a very long time ago guys um but we all knew the the record labels because you know the sex P had all that drama with them changing record labels so you sort of knew things yeah it was in Emi wasn't it um and that's quite interesting isn't it how now I mean I'm a record label there are so many record labels now I me of course you've got the big ones the big guys but you don't have to be a big guy anymore to be part of the movement of record production you can do it from your bed with one track and no money which I think is a great thing it's very egalitarian thing and you know this idea that you once you would you know you'd have a record deal and you'd be ridiculously famous and a billionaire what actually a lot of the the performers and the singers didn't see the money it was always you know Blondie never saw their money and Nina Simone she she said before she died she never never saw her money you know it was all the fat cats who were in record production I think it's good that they're not like that anymore I really do um but of course the the pie is the pie is bigger if you like because of streaming but we all get a a sliver of it an absolute a crumb you know we're all crumbs now we're there with our hands out stretched waiting for crumbs it's a difficult old uh industry to be in which is why I've gone into music therapy I guess because um I get a lot more money actually but there it's quite hard work creating a music therapy track I mean the vibrations have to be right you know I'm not here to make ambient music I'm here to create specific therapies with the actual scientifically proven vibrations inside them and that takes quite a bit of work a lot of time I might do another one today I'll have a look I'll see if I can find one um because really weirdly actually because my YouTube took about two weeks to release the last one and then the one I did on Monday whatever it was they released the next morning it's just bizarre how that's you know how that's happens sometimes it's a lot of waiting around because again on the internet you know you don't know what people are doing the other end it could be anything it could be their their website could be down or you know somebody could your your manager your account manager could be sick or some such thing they might have died I mean how would you know um anyway I guess that's uh enough sort of waffling so I'm going to go off now do U something something for the shop something nice and I did something weird yesterday or the day before I did a weird t-shirt and it got quite a lot of attention and I thought well perhaps I should do some I mean I I do try to be a bit mainstream and I'm feeling very Arty now and I part of that's because I've you know I've decided to change my life and and be a bit more creative I think you know once you've set everything up and you've got your um what what would I describe them as the the more main well the mainstream once the mainstream's all set up and established and you've got you know you've got your shop and you've got where where you can buy it and you've got pretty things that look beautiful it gets a bit boring after a bit because you then you think well no I need some radical stuff now I need some you know hardcore energy same with music I I'll do a piece of music I'll do a really sweet ringtone and then I think oh I want to do something punky oh dear anyway okay I'm in a bit of a Punky moood today um I'm not going to spike my hair or swear um I'm I'm a bit more subtle than that these days much more subtle so expect a story shortly I'll do that in the next five minutes on this channel on this podcast so this podcast is on YouTube as well where you can watch it without ads actually because I don't oh no you can't guys sorry that was a lie the YouTube do put ads on my account you can watch it on my website listen to it on my website without adverts if you're a member so that's a bit of a perk for members no ads I mean that's really the biggest perk you get from my site and the slightly erotic leanings of a of an actress um who is no longer being erotic I really can't be bothered to be erotic anymore oh guys it's actually great news because I say that it's not strictly speaking true um you know I've always been borderline really borderline Google friendly borderline suitable for work borderline adult content it you know the fine line between with my artwork I'm talking about here not in my life my life is very Victorian I mean really I'm like a Victorian spinster in real life now and I always was pretty much um everything else was just a one big old act you know um so yeah the I bought a costume right and it's a onesie thing but it it's got a face covering and it covers you
hey guys so I wanted to talk to you today about celibacy and it interests me because I'm I'm celibate um I mean I didn't announce some great huge vow anywhere but I am celibate and it's more by Design than accident it started off as accident you know because I had cancer I was very ill and then we had lockdown but it ended up as Hello darling Romeo's come to join us you may hear him purring or making other rackety noises in the background Hello darling Mummy needs to talk to the nice people there we go um so yeah that you know we were all forced into um you know probable isolation and celibacy during lockdown you know we couldn't go to pick up joints anymore not that I'd been going to those for a very long time as I'm you know I'm now 61. so it you know it wasn't quite my way of life it's not it wasn't a way of life that I wanted to carry on with um which I had in my 50s to a large degree because I ran a club not that I did particularly have time for relationships be them fleeting or otherwise but you know there'd been a couple um but what when I found myself in the situation of being of a certain age where oh cat's gone oh where I wasn't really um like you know the idea of sex with men that I didn't know very well or men that I wasn't entirely happy with that I did know well it was no longer as attractive as it had been for example in my 40s where I seemed to you know be quite Keen even for the worst of men at you know to share myself with them you know I mean I got married to one who was just awful you know and then all of this in my 40s I seem to be very the trajectory was a trajectory of mistakes you know and part of that was biological I think I think you do have this sort of thing that kicks in in your 40s and you I don't know if it's biological I don't know if it's because your body's approaching perimenopause and you it's telling you to go out and reproduce well obviously but you can still get pregnant of course you can you're still having period I don't know if it's some sort of last-ditch attempt by your hormones I don't know if it's like a biological thing whereby you just um you can't help it I don't know if it's a mental thing where psychologically you're thinking or I'm getting on a bit I need to do you know what I mean I I'm not a psychologist I suspect it it possibly is a combination of those things to be honest but suddenly once I got into my mid-50s and almost I had massive surgery for the cancer and then um you know isolation with lockdown and also moving to an area where I didn't have friends and I needed to get away from an area that was very bad for me um because there was a you know I've been running a club and there were lots of drugs and lots of other stuff and I knew it so I knew I had to escape it because you know when you you have to give up all your friends if you want to stop using drugs absolutely without fail you have to leave them all behind you have to say goodbye to them um we'll talk about that in another broadcast because it's quite interesting the way that I've the way that I've executed my my personal road to recovery um I mean I wasn't an addict thankfully but you know there were a lot of um you know influences when you run a club there are a lot of influences let me tell you so there was a conscious decision to move away from that as well but part of that conscious decision was also to move away from men who were destroying me and all of these things have led me to now which is where I don't I have no interest in sex no I'm post-menopause and when I had my cancer I had an immediate menopause straight after which was kind of weird actually very weird I mean it was very uncomfortable you know there are lots of menopausal side effects loads of them you know the hot flushes the Suicidal Thoughts you know all of that the aches the body aches I mean pounding pain all over my body um and since then more recently they've put me on a hormone but it's it you put it inside you in your Nethers and it's absorbed just in that sort of area and it keeps things comfortable as it were but the hormone doesn't reach your brain or your breasts so it's really good for people who've had breast cancer or post-cancer patients such as myself um so you know you I mean I think it does make me feel a bit different I don't have body aches anymore and there are some other things you know I was plagued with urinary tract issues so they've all gone but it didn't give me you know the same youthful Zeal that I had in my 40s which sounds weird doesn't it because you think 40s you wouldn't be having youthful Zeal but I did have youthful Zeal in my 40s I remember it very well um so yeah I've come to this place now where I'm you know really not not interested in having a sexual relationship with anybody I think there is a sense of me that yearns somewhat for no it's not a yearning that's that's wrong that's far too strong word um to meet people to meet people of actually all Sexes I guess not not just somebody who would be sexually suitable um because I find people fascinating and I find them interesting and it I suppose the old habits die really hard but I'm not convinced I'll ever have sex again because it's such a small part of life for me and it was such a Negative part it had it does have and it did have such negative connotations to it and it's I've just deemed it so unnecessary um I know I think you could have a relationship with somebody who was of these your you know your desired sexual type without the sex I think that would be perfectly possible do you know what I mean I mean I I think that the friso might may still be there the desire to see them and the Heart pangs but the actual demand to have sex then or you know that requirement I think you could well it wouldn't necessarily need to exist and I think you could have a celibate relationship with somebody whose mind you met you know so you'd have this meeting of great wonderful Minds do is the sex necessary I mean I just don't I really just don't see that it isum I mean I would never have said that in my 40s never and lots of people of my age are celibate they're celibate for various reasons you know celibate because you know it's difficult to get later in your 60. of course it is you know because you don't want to go traipsing around looking for anybody I mean you could pay for it I guess but I don't know how vital that that part of anyone's life is I suppose it is because old men do see prostitutes don't they so I suppose you know that does that does carry on for some people um but the biggest thing I think about being celibate for me is that the energy that I spent on trying to find a sexual partner who is suitable in all ways is now spent on making music and create being creative and I'd be very very scared to dilute it because this is the first time in my life where the strength of Yearning to create is not tempered by anything can compete with it and if I wish I'd felt like that you know when I was 20 I think some people maybe do I think some people you know that creative urge is so overbearing and sexual relations are really minimized um and almost to the point of um offense offending do you see what I mean like sexual partners don't matter especially for men who think about you know Picasso and I mean I'm I'm trying to think now to lose Le trekken has going to the strip clubs um you know the sex becomes secondary to the act of being creative I mean of course lots of artists were dirty old men of course they were and they you know their prowess was legendary and they had lots of women did their creativity come first or were they driven by their sex their sexual desire to and the offshoot was Art I mean also I had a boyfriend who was an artist and he used to go to strip clubs because he said that you know he needed to for his art I mean what a load of bollocks really what a load of [ __ ] bollocks I have to put this in the explicit but an explicit label on this now um it's because I get angry you see I start swearing when I'm angry but yes so for me I would be I let's imagine the worst case scenario I met a member of the opposite sex who I found intriguing and interesting because that would be really really distracting for me at this stage in my life would I then try and would I would I be so interested in this celibate label what I'm going obviously I'm going to or not obviously but I'm going to be tested because I'm starting to go out again I'm starting to mix with Society again now that you know things are all better um so they that you know this label that I've given myself of being a celibate it may well fall off and I'm maybe maybe I'm worried about it but I just can't see it I cannot see it I cannot see a time in the near future where I'm going to be sexually compromised from my um of the cats doing his business in the background I do apologize um yeah I do not see a time where I can be distracted from my vision at this particular moment and the older I get the less I care you know I I just why would I want anybody at my age you know I've had my kidsum I don't have you know hot desire through my veins so that helps that obviously helps um you know and I don't drink anymore so that helps and all of these things you know the the exercise of will that I'm really focused on you know I do it with my food I do it with my body I really want a beautiful body absolutely just for just so I can look at it myself and think bloody hell look at that that's really good that bit's really good it's why I tattoo myselfum you know I'm not tattooing for anybody else and I'm not dieting for anybody else I want to live till I'm 120 and I want to do it without sex you know I mean I'm really sort of I'm really enjoying the willpower that it takes to Buck the trend I suppose Buck the trends you know not not to be a typical 60 year old and oh God do you know what my bloody cat he he he's still trying to bury something in the literature an
hello my Beauties and welcome to the full poster yes I'm in the full poster and it is only um afternoon it's still early days about half past six so I was a bit fuming this afternoon and so this is the second broadcast I've done because the other one I ran out of battery because I talk too much I moaned for far too long look I get really really hacked off when men tell me that I'm not a real musician it's only ever men that tell me that and it's always because I use Electronica synthesizer um techniques you know but I've got three bloody degrees in music you know and I just it makes me it makes me so mad that some wanker I'm gonna have to put this in the explicit section now some wanker of a dude you know who who plays same I mean a bit of guitar you know that sort of Open Mic crap um and the other guy that told me that was a barrister who played the most awful Jazz like dying cats and I'm a jazz fan so these people who think they're real musicians I mean there's no such thing as a real musician I mean all the world is a real musician I mean that's the first thing that pisses me off because you know I'm an egalitarian musician and I believe that we all have music within us and it's Tribal it's not it's cultural and tribal it's not you know one person has musicality and another person doesn't that absurdity and these people have got nowhere in their careers with music you know what I mean and yet they sit there and they say oh that's not real music I thought bloody hell I mean so angry I was so angry this is my mum's birthday today and I had to go I had to leave and make my excuses to go and buy cat food and when I got back he was gone thank bloody God what a [ __ ] you know and these people are if if they were you know Simon Rattle or um who else can I think of I can't think of any really well Bach a bark if it was Bach if they knew anything about Bloody Bach maybe I'd I'd have some sort of respect you know maybe I'd I'd listen But the irony is that if it was Simon Rattle he wouldn't say that he would never say that because musicians whatever they play and whatever they do particularly remembering I'm a composer above all else I mean yeah I can play a bit of cello and I can play piano pretty darn well but I'm a composer so how can you say to me that my compositions are not music they're not musical they're not real music what what does that even mean you know I spend days putting the notes together days and days working out my chord structures days I tell you days I tell you I was so hacked off so I came home and I I you know I'm on a thread with my daughters who are you know thank God they're feminists just thank goodness and and one of my daughters is a a keen cook and she makes beautiful toppers for cakes and she's very you know finger on the pulse as it were and she said it happens in cooking the cooking Industries the chefs and Cooks where you know men are always saying to women you cook like my mum I mean what what what does that even mean what the woman who fed you for years whose food that you loved at the table what does that even mean it you cook like my mother and don't get me started on Paul digello who's pimped out by the TV bosses totally pimped out I mean really you know they're just completely sexualize that poor woman so she you know the camera sexualized her the producers sexualized her and you couldn't watch Nigella on TV in a room with a man in it because you know he just got a bloody hard on I mean the absurdity of it all absolutely [ __ ] angry really am [ __ ] angry it's not the first time it's happened and undoubtedly it's not going to be the last and it makes me feel that I should somehow change my name I mean you know oh in the history the great musicians were many men because you know women were closed that was closed doors to it for Electronica as far as women were concerned we didn't get near they didn't let us near synthesizers in the 70s but you know you talk about Vangelis and Pink Floyd and all these bands who who 'd synthesizers and and were fantastic musicians and yet they say that I mean morons total morals have so fuming so fuming and It's upsetting because this is the reality of the world this is the reality you know I do my podcasts I do my music I create music every day of my life good music structured music music that you know I'm I'm really big on experimental chords and and I understand what I'm doing and I'm good with Harmony and I I work really hard at you know layering and balancing and they think I do nothing I I just it's infuriating and this you know this guy today I mean he can't hold his guitar because of his arthritis which you know is very sad but to sit there and say that because I said why don't you you know use something you can press a button and I was being slightly jokey about it and my brother said synthesizer and then he's then he just went into one poo pooed the whole thing go on Romeo Romeo wants to jump over the mic as always um and the last guy that said it to me said it on Facebook on a you know on a public forum what a more A pompous ass What A pompous arrogant ass to say that really when you know I mean he even he even forged himself playing piano one time he wasn't playing it I could tell I mean these these guys who do that these guys who think they're you know what I don't know the Rolling Stones or something or um you know Louis Armstrong I mean that's what they think isn't it the fantasy of the bedroom bloody musician so you're just doing all this you know Naval gazing in your bedroom not doing it you don't make any earning any money you're not getting your music out there you're not ballsy enough to actually you know produce good music and you know I mean you're doing Open Mic nights you're doing crappy Open Mic nights you've got a bit of a crowd because nowhere there's nowhere else to go on a yesterday on a on a Wednesday night do you know what I mean playing [ __ ] Wembley are you a sad gets sad gets so I was thinking what do I change my name to Kevin or something you know do I need to is are these doors close to me because I'm a woman is everybody who listens to my music I mean this is why I've got Flex in the band so that there's a man that was the only reason I got Flex involved so that the band could get some sort of Kudos because there was a man in it the whole thing is so so infuriating so infuriating I thought stupidly guys I thought we'd moved on I did my first degree in the early noughties right and I was one of two girls in a class of 30 men and they were you know virtually tapping us on the heads all the time the attitude there if even if you were a little bit creative was oh isn't she cute you know because creativity on that course it was a digital music course it was put lower down than engineering and you know these boys were really good at engineering they you know I'm not going to take that away from them but you know the degree was mostly about engineering and production rather than the creative way that you you know you can put music together it wasn't very musical at all you know that I mean that was really interesting I had to leave actually in my third year I went I moved and did film music for film so I sort of changed because I I absolutely could not stand the sexism you know and I thought stupidly that 20 years on you know attitudes are different now and you know to a degree I I can I've have an in I have a career in music I do have a career in music albeit in its embryonic State you know and that would have been impossible for a woman of my age 20 years ago absolutely impossible so I do feel that there's a small step being made and that small step is because I don't perform live I don't have to get my clothes off I don't have to Panda to you know I don't I don't have to suck anyone's knob to get on TV or to get a record deal and you you used to have to do that back in the day that was the only way you were getting anywhere you had to be 18 to 25 and you had to suck [ __ ] I mean absolute fuckingly out just fuckingly outrageous new word this is going to be really explicit I'm going to have to put like triple Stars over it over 18. maybe I won't put it on um YouTube actually and maybe I won't um you know I I mean I'm mad I'm mad because it's because there's nothing I can do about it that's why I'm mad I'm furious because I am out of the control of this negative feminism which is prevalent it's prevalent in society it's prevalent in management it's prevalent in government it's prevalent in every culture all over the [ __ ] world and just because I mean I've heard men say they've said this to me you should be grateful you don't have to wear a you know a bail um sorry I forgotten what they're called hey Bob hey Bob I don't know I can't remember what they're called um hijab isn't it you should be grateful you're allowed to show your hair you know I mean men have said that to me no I shouldn't be [ __ ] grateful actually because do you know what I'm really angry that I'm still not equal I'm really angry that I still don't get equal pay I'm really angry that I'm still judged on what I look like or how young I am or how not how naive I am or how manipulable I am I'm still really really really hacked off about that and actually it really annoys me because in this country Britain Great Britain it's laughingly called great there they put on this front that sexism doesn't exist and it's Rife everywhere it's absolutely Rife everywhere along with classism and as a musician you know as a podcaster as a music teacher that you know I did all these Suzuki teaching podcasts for years I did them and I I always said this podcast is free and it's free to anyone anywhere in the world because music tuition should be free music shouldn't be a privilege to some people music is something that babies respond to all classes respond to and all genders respond to and you respond to it with your brain and your body and your soul you know um I
hey Beauties welcome to the four poster bed and a quick update. it's been a crazy crazy busy week already mum's got a birthday later so I'm off to her um it's not a how would I describe it we call them we call it sheltered accommodation in this country so it's people over 55 although most of them are you know 70s 80s 90s one's at 98 imagine she's coming to the party too but there's a couple of members of Staff who sort of oversee things and they have chords in their rooms that you can pull should you fall over and things like that and that goes straight to the ambulance not that it helps much because one lady who's sadly passed now she similarly had these you know strings pulleys in her room pulled one she was naked in her garden somebody had had to pull it for her and she was there for four hours absolutely shocking shocking disgusting so it you know do they help will they save your life not sure actually not sure at all so anyway I'm not going to talk about that the party starts at three so I'll take some photos possibly I don't know do I feel really invasive when I say oh do a selfie with me do a selfie with me with with an elderly person I just think what do they want you know they look they're not part of this selfie mad you know industry are they um so I'll see how I feel anyway loads and those little videos so I'm doing all these shorts goddamn granny shorts on YouTube so I've just done three because actually I can't get everything in in 60 seconds and they your shorts are only allowed to be 60 seconds on YouTube otherwise it's a long so I've got lots of long videos as well but the shorts are the ones that get more sort of views you don't I'm I'm nowhere near advertising level you have to have a million views on no 10 million 10 million views on your shorts I mean that's absurd isn't it I don't do the sort of content that 10 million people are going to sit there watching over and over again it's just me so I'm not looking to you know make any money out of YouTube anytime soon however I've just looked at a shopping thing and I will be doing a live shopping channel on my on my YouTube again I'm not really looking to get millions of people there I just want to talk about you know the bra which has had a bit of a setback because the bra that I was using is now going to be marketed as a disposable bra because it the components were made in China because China produces cheap components and they didn't wash too well in the washing machine the fabric of the bra which they sell on Amazon as a proper bra really can't be called a proper bra it it almost starts to sort of fray around the edges there are no there's no stitching you see around the edges it's just cut fabric so it's a non-free fabric but it's the edges do become slightly raw after about the third wash now if I wash my hand that may not happen but essentially I like the idea of a disposable bra I thought well what's what's good about a disposable bra well I'll tell you what cost so they're going to be 20 pounds they weren't going to be if they were permanent they're going to be between 50 and 80. so then when we bring the price down so there are going to be 20 pounds they're the sort of bra because they have a faux nipple and it looks very sexy they're the sort of bra you can use for a shoot they're also the sort of bra you can pop on after surgery and as you know I'm you know I'm into Aesthetics and I've got my Aesthetics business Sonja Cherie so you know it all fits in very very well actually so it's very Niche but it's very it's quite exciting actually to be offering the only disposable bra with faux nipples in the world so I'm really excited about that but definitely I want to do that on a live shopping channel I just think it's going to work better but also my my tea dresses my unisex tea dresses and then you see I can ask models to pop in or I can link them up at live broadcast on YouTube this is what you can do so somebody buys your dress and buys my dress I should say um or the bra and we link up live on air on a streaming you know and outside broadcast thing that is very doable on uh YouTube you see I think it's quite exciting so um I also obviously looking for um uh influencers I sort of hate that word really looking for influencers or people who have a reasonable following on any of their social media to buy one of my tea dresses at Cost it's half price um and you know that's a such a bargain you know um buy it at half price and then promote it on their social media and then they get 30 of any sales so it's a really good deal for anybody who's a bit of an influencer I'll look at your you know it's a subjective thing I will look at your followers and you know your sort of output the what what I really love about the Tea dresses is that they're unisex and they go up to you know six six x I think 6xx they they go up to a very large size they also start very small through um three no three S I think I can't remember I should know guys I'm so sorry I'll find out if you go and look at the T-shirt dresses at i7.com all the information's there um sorry I'm so sorry I mean I buy I always buy the medium but I bought a large and it was very generous on me and a different type of dress more of a sort of shirt caftan or almost like a caftani thing and it looked great with a belt but you have to watch it if you're wearing a belt it does disturb the front image so if you've only got one image on there it it works less well with a belt but if you've got lots of images and the images are quite small like the ones I've been doing today the Dalmatians the the pattern it creates this beautiful pattern which is only accentuated by the use of a gold belt darling so I mean I really liked it so um the other the next one I've ordered I can't remember which one it was now I think it's the pirate the I I believe it's the pirate pirate Queen I called it and that I've ordered small and I thought well this gives me the perfect opportunity to see if it works as a dress you know as an actual sort of tight dress with kind of sexy boots or something yeah um I mean I did a photo shoot the other day with bare legs just to show my tattoos really and I would never ever ever in a million years go out like that I just wouldn't not with my aging pins I mean I love my legs I've always loved my legs but you know they don't stand up to the the ravages of time my knees are not as they were and you know you might look good sitting cross-legged for a selfie but as soon as you start to walk around it's just like oh God what's going on here ah the separation of muscle from bone I believe that's what it is aging skin um everything just gives up doesn't it and it's not a great look for fashion you don't want people looking at your baggy legs you want them looking at your wonderful wonderful dress that you're wearing so um so yeah a bit excited about all that now the other news for today is that my finally it took so long my beauty skin music therapy recording is now up it's available for free on YouTube you can go find it on YouTube you can download it if you're if you're with YouTube music Apple Amazon Prime they won't let you download it unless you're members but you can get it you can listen to it you can stream for free on YouTube so that's really cool isn't it and I've been using it guys and my skin I woke up today with really the most beautiful skin not on my knees though but the most beautiful skin on my face I was so pleased I thought this is fantastic is this possibly because I've been listening to the as I've edited the museum then I did a show the other day um so I listened to these quite a lot and I thought is that could that actually be why I mean I you know the rife vibrations I hope there they have a genuine effect one can never prove or desperate prove these things that's the thing with alternative medicine you can't prove or disprove but I'll tell you what listening to hypnotic meditative music makes you relax okay at the very very least it makes you relax and it makes you focus and relaxing and focusing our panaceas for any illness do you see what I'm saying any illness possible will be helped by folk good Focus positive Focus I'm talking about not negative Focus positive Focus and meditative situations calming anxiety busting do you see what I mean so the vibration that you can hear when you listen to these tapes the vibration that the rife creator ascertained was the right vibration to create beautiful skin is become secondary in a way because the fact that you're sitting relaxing and focusing hearing absorbing all of this that I've made for you guys means that you're going to get better anyway so we all know how anxiety promotes acne for example and stress spots I get stress massive stress spots even now in my 60s I'm getting stress-related skin conditions there's more to it there's more to it than just hope if you believe something if you truly believe and you truly focus and rather than Panic rather than over become over anxious about something if you truly focus on Improvement it will happen, so even if you don't believe I mean I do believe in the right vibrations I really do because when I make them I can feel the vibrations penetrating my sternum and penetrating my eardrums I can feel them in my heart you know and I know that they have some sort of resonance therapeutic effect I know they do because I can feel them I can feel them guys um so yes anyway what I'd like to do on my live TV shows as well is some live therapy sessions using the recordings it's going to be such fun I'm not sure when I'm going to be registered soonish maybe within a month for now everything's you know the pre-recorded and I'm getting up in the morning I'm doing three or four little videos live on my YouTube channel which is tell teller club by the way just in case I hadn't mentioned that um and the podcast is I silverland but all the podcasts go on YouTube as well and it's all free it's e
hey guys welcome to the show now this show was deleted and now it's back again and I just want to talk about why you should never pay for podcast hosting I think it it's almost a rip-off actually if you're paying for it now I've had I think three no probably about five podcasts canceled in my career as a podcaster now that may not sound like many but each podcast has taken between two and five years to gain some traction and to get going and you know to get a following Etc and most often they they cancel them you know two years in or three years in and they sell them give you too much explanation as to why you've been canceled I know some of the big controversial podcasts you know the ones that are a bit right-wing or you know debate quite sensitive issues are always getting canceled you know they're very prone to it but for someone like me who's just a little producer I mean it's just me I don't I don't do interviews and I don't do chat shows with other people um my content is always just me and it always has been because I find it therapeutic I find it fascinating that I can engage with an audience and with a bit of tech in my hand you know I do this on on my iPad I really like the spreaker recording app it's lovely it's very um doable you know it's very simple it's very straightforward but yeah so I many of my podcasts have been canceled after many years of working tirelessly I mean some of them the first first sort of big book one I did Library sort of thing I was uploading books audio books from LibriVox which took you know it took all day and these are all in the public domain and I would tweak them and you know make them nice and then advertise etc etc and I spent two years hard labor on that and those podcasts were just deleted and the reason they get the reason they give you several reasons but for me notably it's usually about spamming so I've been looking up spamming and trying to figure out well what am I doing wrong and there are so many things putting titles in inverted commas when I'm always doing that because it's important for the title of a book or for the title of an artwork so I'm thinking well I guess that could be why putting too many hashtags I always put loads of hashtags well what is the right amount of hashtags you know I mean I'm cutting it down now too well I'm loath to do more than three or four these days really I am there are other things certain words I think YouTube have canceled a few of them because I had gained the title and gay was the title of a book the gay abandon of somebody or other because gay in history had no negative connotations and gay doesn't have any negative connotations now but YouTube Dean is obscene and it was an audio book from a hundred years ago and there was nothing obscene about it I can assure you so navigating your way around all these things when you've worked really really hard to do stuff it's adding insult to injury if you've actually paid for the privilege and some of my podcasts I've paid this The Host you know 10 pounds 20 pounds 40 pounds a month depending because I had a lot of storage at one time I was paying a lot of money so that you know people could access my huge library of audio books and to be deleted just on a whim almost seemingly on on a whim now robots have taken over so they deleted this podcast speaker deleted this podcast the other day now they just messaged everybody and said you know everyone though who is you know hosting their show on their platform to say if you go with speaker you get 10 percent more ad Revenue than the other podcasts now I was I've got loads on Apple for example lots of my downloads are on Apple each day especially on the free ringtones podcast not so much this podcast this podcast is brand new for various reasons I've had to renew it again for issues of possible spamming and I just thought you know what just start again I've always got a voice and all of my podcasts are still on YouTube so okay I lost I mean they owe me these companies owe me thousands of pounds because they get the money for the advertising they don't pay the the host or the presenter for between one and three months we'll say between two and three months if they cancel you in between that time they've got all the ad Revenue they've already got it they've been paid by the big companies but you don't get it now I think that's really appalling but there's no legal recourse because if you look at the small print it actually says that if you don't if you're not in kind of tune with them I mean I'm paraphrasing obviously if they don't feel that you're the right podcast for their platform they can delete you and one I was deleted for not enough work speech but I was speaking more than the sample the music sample but they dug around and they found out of four thousand episodes they found one where I'd forgotten to speak or I'd accidentally uploaded the wrong recording I mean that's really harsh isn't it and there was no comeback there was no legal comeback I checked there was no way I could talk to somebody other than somebody who was completely and utterly insensitive and I guess they're just told if you see that you just cancel don't get into a debate about it but you know it's so harsh when you've spent months years hours day in day out you know creating your brand building your product etc etc so for those reasons I've gone on to free platforms so I'm using spreaker again but they only allow you to use to have for free one show per podcast if you see what I mean per um profile so I've set up different profiles for different podcasts so that they're all free because spreaker have a history of deleting my podcasts and there is no way there is no way I want to pay for the privilege just to be deleted so what do I get from my for my free is oh is anything free I mean no of course it isn't I still do my 15 minutes uploads I still do my broadcasts on my free ringtones I still do my music therapy three book free broadcasts I'm not paying for it except in time and time is very valuable especially for someone like me time is you know it's money time is money my dad used to say that time is money and time really is money when you're doing the sort of work that I do so I'm not paying um and what I get from it is a platform a podcast that can be deleted at any moment with no security for me where the odds are stacked okay but I also get um an auto link to YouTube so everything goes onto YouTube so if spreaker delete me I'm hopefully still on YouTube and I you know if I've sworn in the episode if I've talked about anything um you know erotica artworks or erotica literature or anything like that if I've mentioned anything that I think may be adult content I have the option of creating an adult adults only filter over on YouTube okay would I do that for this episode I've talked about gay abandon um probably not probably not um you know keeping things to over 18 the way they do it it's not over 18s it's people who've got an account and I did do that to everything yesterday and my um my hits or views or whatever you want to call it on YouTube took a dive so that made a difference so I'm loathed to do that now and this is what's happening in the world isn't it as we as we March headlong into consumerism uh focusing on Advertising Revenue dependent on ad Revenue which of course you know Facebook YouTube all of these places are totally dependent on ad Revenue you find that the rules become a bit more rigid and you're forced into a corner really do you want an adult podcast go to only fans do it on there you can record on the speaker app but don't publish it and then you can send your podcast to only fans so that's what I'm going to do because I do have an early fans account for my more adult broadcasting because I you know I'm an adult and I'm allowed to make adult broadcasting so it's really it's really sensible to have an adult version do I have wildly erotic podcasts no I don't none of them are but sometimes it's difficult to find as an artist you know practicing artist it's difficult to find the right fit where do you put it when you're talking about you know I've done a lot of work as a dominatrix my performance art piece was a dominatrix or one of them and I can't really put any of that anywhere other than only fans and so it goes on where we're forced into corners but the guys those Corners are there for us you know we can go and inhabit those corners yes it's typecasting I get really annoyed at that I don't want to be perceived as an adult Entertainer that's you know that's not who I am I don't want to be perceived just as a child Pub children's book publisher that that is also you know a possibility for being boxed into a corner and of course a Telltale Club publishing owns Telltale club kids and toddle puddle and that's for you know under fives and under 16. so you know when you've got this whole array of differing labels and categories I suppose the internet loves a category the internet needs to know who you are what you are what you do and then you know I mean I serve land is up now on Google as a podcast um and how do I get out of that you know I mean I was a podcaster second or third to being an artist a performer and a designer but Google wants me as a podcaster and I'm up there as a podcaster so we have to sort of put up with those things I mean it doesn't it doesn't worry me at all because hopefully I'll get some revenue from it you know hopefully I'll get some advertising revenue from it eventually um anyway so my podcast I save alone is back up whoopee also I've got iservelon.com which is my new website for the t-shirts really really pleased with it did find this morning that my t-shirts have been copied on AliExpress my t-shirts are 100 GBP pounds 120 USA um they're available on AliExpress they're absolutely appalling but they're available for 10 GBP 10 pounds um they look horrific absolutely horrific am I going to buy one I probably
hello good friends of the internet and welcome to the four poster bed well I've I've had such a busy busy week with appy pie so I thought well I'm going to tell my audience about I'll do these little reviews you see but I'm only going to review what I what I do and what I know about I'm not going to go out there and specifically order things just to review them so I ordered an a hyaluronic pen from Ali and I think I paid 30 odd pounds for it it wasn't cheap and basically it was rubbish absolute rubbish so I'm going to don't don't go and buy one I'm going they were in my shop and I don't want to sell anything in my shop maybe this is my beauty shop sonicaree I don't want to sell anything in there that I haven't verified as good quality or useful um I mean sometimes those things are not the same they don't overlap so you know I'm loathed to sell anything because there's so much trash around and buying things from China is such a bloody risk guys honestly it's such a risk because did you know that Britain is one of the few places that do so well from Chinese Imports in the world because the rest of the world have realized that what is being produced from China is mostly up absolute trash now look we need components I'm not talking about components for Machinery I'm not talking for the higher end products you know you can go to a factory with your order and you can get things produced I'm not talking about those sort of things bespoke I'm talking about utter rubbish shopping addiction click bait type stuff now I have I have bought a pair of impersonating Crocs um they're not fake Crocs I mean it's a plastic clog basically it's a Croco plastic frog no wait it's a Croc blastic clog yes Darlings it is indeed a plastic clog but I haven't brought bought the crop I think they're about 40 pounds so I've bought this one that's covered in diamonds so I I you know but I'm keeping an open mind now as a jewelry Maker's hobbyist not to sell I just do these as a hobby guys um I have beautiful beautiful Stones proper glass stones Diamante um you know swarovsky all of these diamonds real diamonds well factory made diamonds not mined I don't believe in mine diamonds remember I'm all about you know um blood free blood free Shine That's what I'm all about and they're cheap you can buy one for one pound fifty and you could cover your your plastic clog in those but I'm going to see the the jewelry the the stones that are on them are going to be obviously the cheap ones but I thought well do you know what all I have to do is in between them put some real diamonds and suddenly I've got a designer shoe worthy of you know my my gorgeous feet I'm very lucky guys with my feet they're Hello darling come and join us come on I've been very lucky with my feet because they're particularly nice and especially for a woman of my years um I may do some foot photography on my only funds tell you about my only funds in a minute so now what else have I done this week I yesterday my Dr Penn arrived oh my God I love it so so much so I am selling that in the shop the Dr Penn proper Dr pen No impersonation um it's not too expensive it's very a very affordable piece of beauty equipment that with all the um you know the needles that you need are well under 100 quid well under I mean you know it's probably under 50 actually I don't have the invoice in front of me I'm afraid really my skin today guys oh my word now what I did use was a something by infinity and I may put a link up if I can get an affiliation deal with the company I get that from I'll put an affiliate thing and we'll I'm going to recommend it because I I can't tell you how beautiful my skin looks I mean look it's red and it's peely because obviously it's had a micro needle treatment um it was much quicker than doing it by hand of course I put it on quite a deep level my nose is always very red because my my nose is not used to it and I have to build up you build up these treatments just you need them all the time you need one a month possibly one every Fortnight to to have baby soft gorgeous skin this skin renewal at Darlings I can't tell you how utterly fantastic it is now what what was the other thing that I've I've got ah so I tried to build the app on apple pie rubbish total rubbish first of all I opened an account because it said 10 pounds a week then they said I couldn't change things round and of course when you're doing fashion you want to update everything I do fashion and I do updated music tracks all the time nearly every day and updated ringtones and you know you change stuff you you have to have what the thing about a website is you can go in every day and you can change everything and it's published immediately not so on the app it has to go through the Google Play console it's a bloody nightmare anyway so I had to up it and that was it was now 30 pounds a month right okay well that's doable I was going to offer a free version can I absorb that cost well possibly because I get royalties from the music let's give it a go I've been waiting probably 10 days now for a functioning app and I haven't had one so I'm not going to recommend apple pie I'm going to say don't go there and what I think the problem is guys I think the sales staff do really really well the sales platform gets everybody on board and the tech staff can't keep up and this is a problem that I'm seeing more and more on the internet and more and more with because I work with big Tech all the time every day you know as a musician as a I've got several websites you know I work with I'm not saying I I have employees in I.T but I work with Partners who are involved heavily in Tech and I.T and I see the sales and I see the promises that these people make and I see them getting the contracts and I see that nobody can keep up with the work and I particularly saw well I am seeing it this week I released two tracks last week and they're not on YouTube yet they're on Amazon Prime you know they're supposed to be on YouTube immediately and it's been over a week or so now and you know apparently this is because the staff are not there at the end of the line so much of it's done on AI but that you need a human at the end of it you need a human to verify things you need a human to um you know communicate with Google to communicate with all these platforms it needs a human being they can't risk letting AI do that because AI makes mistakes so for example if you put up something explicit and that got through into iTunes that would be devastating for all concerned because iTunes would throw you off their platform etc etc and the advertisers would all jump ship you know and so it goes on and this is I think this is the problem AI is really good for sales because AI you know it art on the chat box stuff you know when you when you go into most sites would you be interested in well don't they don't even say that they say um which thing would you want to buy you know and you answer and before you've known it know it they've you're signed up all done by AI because signing up doesn't carry risks to it do you see what I mean all they're doing all what what's happening is they're getting your 30 quid or your 10 quid do you see what I mean so I think this is the problem and it you know who do you blame well I want my 30 quid back that's all I care about because I've it feels like I've squandered you know two weeks of my life working really hard with this app and I've squandered 30 pounds so I've paid to lose two weeks of my life and I just think well hang on a minute I may as well tear up 30 quid down the loo and go to sleep for two weeks actually that sounds quite nice doesn't it but you see what I'm saying here we've got to be really careful now guys as consumers but also as you know people who most of us Britain especially I don't know how it is in the USA But in Britain where all we do is provide services for people and trade with this you know we're nation of Trades people most of us have got five you know side hustles and we're working with these we become business customers of B2B business to business so we're consuming business Tech do you see what I'm saying we're consuming business platforms business portals business interfaces because we've got all these side hustles so even as an eBay seller you know you're working with a tech company you might not think you are but you are and your your business is largely run by AI um but there are people at the end of it and and this is why now you have to you have to have tickets you you just you know you put up a ticket and the company Apple Pie I've been working with they don't seem to work on weekends and I think well hang on a minute you need to be working seven days a week in in the internet industry Because the Internet doesn't shut down on a Saturday and Sunday does it you know shops don't close on Saturdays and Sundays anymore and yet this seems to see what happens when I when I upload to my music distributor if it's the weekend I know I'm not going to have an answer back till Monday and and you think well this that that's something wrong there you know there's definitely something wrong there so I I got a feeling it's all about not being able to keep up um so apple pie avoid it now I've opened up an ecwid shop I love it absolutely love it I'm going to give ecwid a massive massive Thumb Thumbs Up actually because it's I've set up my t-shirt shop and the reason I love it is because you can embed it you can embed it anywhere so you could have a hundred websites and you could just embed that widget there your shop now it's not going to be good for loads and loads of different items with loads and loads of variations but it's all I do are T-shirt dresses unisex T-shirt dresses so I have exactly the same design with different pictures on and it's absolutely perfect the interface is lovely and I serverland.company.stat.site which I that's the free version without a domain I have bought a domain
hello Internet welcome to the four poster I'm actually quite tired the reason I'm tired is because I've made two recordings and effed them both up royally for my for my show my um hypnosis show my music therapy show so um I'm already in the zone I'm already it's only 22 11 and I'm already there I was talking very gently in the music studio with all the lights off and I've got these special glasses that cut out screen rays and they're slightly tinted blue and they're supposed to be really good for your eyes and they really work they make me sleepy because they're not allowing this shocking light that's waking you up and getting your brain going so I'd really recommend them actually um so yes I was doing all that and I was talking really slowly to my to my listeners over on that show and then I realized I wasn't recording and then I thought I were going to record in in the boudoir so I came into the four poster and I did exactly the same thing again I forgot to forgot to press the blue well the record knob that records me I was talking and it wasn't uh I was on silent so this is my third attempt a Third Time Lucky um so I made this lovely lovely piece of music so what I'll do well let me play you a little bit of it now and then we'll have a little chat about it okay[Music]laughs [Music] so what do you think guys I think that's I really like it actually it's a grower now I I basically used um this C major if you listened last night you'll know that I hate C major and I thought well no this is a challenge but then I my fingers were drawn to that B flat as um you know I really like F major well basically I just like B flat I'm a bit obsessed with it and and then it was starting to go towards E flat and I just thought no that just don't go there so what I was playing it transpired was was C with flattened seventh and um I was I was just really enjoying it really enjoying it when you slow it all down and you're using these lovely unsightly unusual Jazzy cores you slow them down you give them an unjazzy rhythm they can sound a little bit um captivating because you're not you you have to be suspicious slightly suspicious about where they're going do you know what I mean there's always that little sense of just a very slight sense of trepidation trepidation because you don't know what's coming and I like that I really like that I think it's just the right amount of excitement at bedtime so I what I did basically was was played the the I played my piano to a backing track but I didn't want a normal sort of you know quite authorizer hip-hop it's a boring of the hip-hop backing track the drums so I put a Latin backing track on and I played along to that and half of the recording now has plain piano this is being released it would be live tomorrow I think it went off today um is it just the live version of the piano piece and then I put it because it's a a piece for music therapy and I use choir and vibrations Rife vibrations special Sound Vibrations to to hypnotize my clients to help them feel good and calm down quite often I use these um vibrations for healing specific conditions this one is a little bit different because I've used a choir and I've used the Latin drum well the Latin percussion back backing track that I made and piano but I've really slowed it down and you just get this really lovely mellow feeling and I've also used it with what what they call a pad which just gives it it's the piano and the pad and it just gives it a bit of synthesized uh otherworldiness and it's really soothing so this this recording is for calming tomorrow I'll do something that's a little bit more specific for the illnesses that we're actually going to cover so I I like the idea of you know thinking about what what I'd really like with this music where would this music Take Me how would I how do I picture it I really like that don't you and I picture this with um some you you've you've got a chap round or a or a lady whoever you prefer and it's Sunday morning and they've you don't know them very well I mean is that too forward no it's not too forward is it you don't know them particularly well it's your first time not your first date because that would be rushing it would it not more like date three I think date three is all right for intimacy and he or she this I have to look see it like this because I couldn't have it the other way around he has made me breakfast in bed so I my hair's a mess my braids are all over the place and I'm you know lying I'm probably dribbling on a pillow and snoring but but I won't I won't um dwell on that bit so much so he's open the door and he's put down the tray and and just tapped me on the shoulder and I've you know come out of my dream state and I've said oh how absolutely wonderful and there's eggs benedict because this is my fantasy eggs benedict with an espresso black strong like tar how wonderful and this music's playing you see this is the scenario I have um so yeah I hope you like it I'm going to play you out with a little bit of let me let me go sort of halfway and see if I can find um the [ __ ] that oh I don't think I can forward it let's have a look it's not going to let me do that guys I'm just going to have to play it I think well I know what we'll do we'll play it in the background a little bitAmerican [Music] haircut[Music] okay guys so I hope you like that and you can hear the whole thing um out tomorrow it'll be on YouTube and it will be on my app if the app gets its approval from Google soon and on the website of course and um yeah I mean I quite like it I quite like it it's making me very very very very chilled so I'll be back tomorrow with lots of different programs that she we're doing at the moment all sorts of different ones toddle puddle for little ones free ringtones for big ones and we've got gossip gassing and generally talking well load of old polony from me so sleep tight I'll be back later tomorrow
hello Internet and welcome yet again for a quick cup of coffee quick coffee break and some updates about all of the books so I'm fully throwing myself into being an author and you probably know actually if you know anything about iceer land that I've done quite a bit of playing around with AI looking at the technical involvement seeing if AI can do anything for me as a writer as a creator of words Etc I did do a poem actually I think I did one written by my Ai and it rhymed but I seldom rhyme so I was fairly impressed with it but it's I tried some romance writing and it's really gooey sweet sickly and really not not like me at all I'm just so not gooey sweet sick sickly you know I'm much more um I would I'd hesitate to use the word hardcore because that's not me either but you know I don't beat about the Bush when I'm explaining a love scenario I mean who does that you know good writers get in amongst it all and um you know exude the reality of the situation so I really want to focus on some romance writing but I haven't started apart from a couple of short stories so far but I'll update you with those I'll be doing those so what I've started today is the martianess of Deutscher Dorchester series she's it's not really her she well it's about her she's the main character in a broadcast that is sent from a telephonic operating system that's implanted in her wrist okay secret set in the future 2258 and she's well I won't can I tell you oh no I shouldn't give it all away so I've done episode one today and that's available on she's got her own podcast the martianess of Dorchester so I have to look that up I'm afraid but it is free guys and I've just set up a YouTube channel for her as well so she has her own YouTube channel she has her own podcast she has her own character in a story so this is where things get a bit confusing because in my head I have to live the part of the people so so intensely that they start to sort of involve all aspects of my life anyway she she's doing these short episodes each day from her telephonic device as if it was live so it's a bit like reality TV you know where they give them a script but then they say do it live do you see what I mean it's it's kind of blending the documentary with the reality feel but actually it's not real and it that's something that's quite a modern take actually I noticed I mean I did a um my ba-ons my first degree my thesis was on documentary and reality TV or the reality documentary wasn't a significant thing then it didn't have an identity of its own you know I mean I think the nearest we got then was the enacted documentary which is sort of another way of coming at reality isn't it um yeah really interesting I mean I get really excited about all this stuff but I'll try not to talk too long so she's got to the Martian's daughter there now has her own podcast her own um web blog her own blog and her own YouTube channel and the um each episode is updated each episode comes out every morning I did my writing this morning I wanted to write until about midday but I got so wrapped up with bloody the bloody awfulness of marketing and you know sharing and I just thought it's such a true fact if you want to be a writer you you can't be doing all the sharing and all the social media that is a full-time job on its own so you have to choose one or the other and for the moment for the next you know six months or so I just want to write and make music I don't want to do anything else I'm sick to death of all this website building and sharing and the awful thing about it guys is it is so temporary yes you can build you can build you can build you can build but as soon as you stop building as soon as you stop expanding this is the nature of capitalism as we know the minute you stop expanding you disappear you just disappear you don't stay around you disappear and this is more so with the internet than it ever was before with with traditional means of marketing capitalism means if you stop growing you no longer exist truth of the matter truth of the matter anyway I use these ideologies in my books particularly immersion which is also now devoting I'm devoting time to immersion as well so I did some tweaking today there are actually about 28 chapters so I'm going to try and get another one out later on I'll try and do that this afternoon it's extremely time consuming working on all these platforms and I'm I just really want to get away from it all but it's also very hard I mean I'm in multimedia guys I I talk I recite I narrate I write I do all these things but you know if without without the writing there's nothing for the rest of it do you see what I mean there's no podcast if I don't write there's no blog if I don't write etc etc so the time now is to write so there's a couple of books a couple of books on the go at the moment so the Martians of daughter Dorchester of course also writes rude poetry but that's not linked to the book The Year of the Goddess um that's what the books title is the year of the goddess so I think you should be able to find that but I mean there's only one episode up so far and it's they're not long episodes I'm not doing long ones because the internet with this is the another irony of the internet if you put up something that's longer than say a minute I mean they're a bit longer than that and somebody goes in and listens to the first word that's more of a time listened than if you write because it's they do us in percentages you see so how long does it take to connect with something say you want to listen to the first sentence right so that first sentence is always going to be what 10 seconds if you put up a long book that 10 seconds of listening time is a really really small percentage so YouTube is going to Mark you down as not very interesting but and I've noticed this this week where I've been putting up really short things if you listen for a minute for 30 SEC 10 seconds and it's only a 20 second piece you've mastered the 50 listening Mark which all of these platforms suddenly think you're worthy do you see what I mean I mean it's an absurdity it really is an absurdity I mean they say no no it doesn't it's not for that so that we can get the right people listening well that's a load of BLX if you ask me total BLX I don't believe them the internet has now marketed so successfully the idea of shortness is best that now we can't even watch and listen to anything longer than a short you know it's really dangerous I think it's really dangerous for Education certainly um so what else I've got a toggle puddle one as well I've done it's so difficult to show them what what I'll probably do eventually is have you know one day where I work on each book because the total Polo stories I do want to write myself getting back to AI actually I did do a kids version written by Ai and it was none too bad it wasn't on too bad I mean it was worth reading but also very weighty on the old moral front you know I'll try today on the AI with some of my characters and see if it can do anything for us there um I actually to be honest I mean I do a lot of experimenting with the toggle puddle because kids are harsh customers you know they I mean they won't even give you 10 seconds I mean they're off and away you know but did you know guys that they now advise not showing a child screens screen time on your phone because they think it might cause ADHD I mean wow just wow that could be the cause you know the root cause of all these this rise in ADHD that we've got couldn't it you know over stimulating the young brain over stimulating all they really need a baby all a baby needs is a boob and mother's eyes that's it doesn't need anything else and sleep lots of sleep you know that that's the only stimulation it needs sleep boob mummy that's life and over stimulating with all these other things you know where are we creating our own well I won't say monsters because it makes them sound bad but you know you create maladjusted people if you do the wrong thing when they're little Bubbas do you see so it's very important that um anyway now that I'm I'm doing all this stuff on free platforms because I'm I was spending an awful lot of money and when you start spending money you have to start sharing and doing all this other stuff you see what I mean you've got to make your you know say something cost you 50 pounds a month you have to make 50 pounds a month the only way you can do that is to share and promote and so you haven't got any time for Content creation if you go to free platforms it's a speaker are at the moment offering a free platform for your podcast so you can afford to experiment you can afford to take some risks you know and if something doesn't work it doesn't matter and it also means you can actually afford to spend time creating really good content because I haven't up till now created great content I've just created content fast easy action content and a lot of it's trash and I'm the first to admit that you know a lot of it is trash because I haven't have I haven't had the time to commit to creating really excellent content but now as of today the time is nigh I'm probably going to close down the website even you know or point it to my blog I mean I I resent buying now I resent buying domains I've got so many to bloody domain names guys you know maybe just one domain name pointing to a Blog with everything on it the blog blogger is free you see Google blogger it's free I mean it's not the best it's quite chunky you know glitchy chunky has very little finesse but you know it's free it's free guys so why wouldn't you want want something free I mean look you're at the ultimate whim of Google they can close you down and but that's life isn't it that's life if you if you're radical if you if you're right wing I mean even Donald Trump gets closed down well very often and taken to court you know but you have to walk the line I'm afraid or with these things unless y
hello gorgeous people of the internet and welcome to the four poster bed I've just started reading War and Peace and I'm a little bit enthralled with it by Leo Tolstoy I was considering reading it to you but I Stumble over the Russian word the names and some of the places as well so I probably won't do that but there's a thousand Pages guys so if I read three pages a night it would take me a year you know um is that right is that right is that the maths sorry yes or a thousand yes it took me a thousand days which is three years isn't it about three years um I wouldn't mind that because I'm always in these podcasts for the Long Haul but the stumbling you know and the slowness you have to the trick with reading out loud is to read very very slowly and always have your eye on the next word and always have one eye on the next word and one eye on the punctuation after the next few words and that tells you if you're supposed to be going up or down uh it's quite tricky it's really tricky so um I I've been watching um this Russian program or well it's an American program about the Cold War it's a little bit of a Russian curiosity at the moment and obviously you know they've As We Know rather repugnant actions in Ukraine it's interesting though when you you know because I don't understand history where I've never studied it so you know how the ash the actions have been how they've come to this now is quite important in terms of their European history you know what how did they get to this stage that they're at where they're invading countries well and in the early 1800s it seems like everybody was invading everywhere so you know the Napoleon and all the stuff that was going on I had no idea it's an introduction in War and Peace which gives you the lowdown on the on the historic of you know the poignancy of historic placements and battles and things like that which is quite useful I mean I I don't as a rule finder history as interesting as perhaps one should but the older I get the more I find it interesting if you see what I mean and I think you know when you've been around for 61 years you sort of you start to think oh you know 100 years isn't actually very long and the difference in a hundred years I mean 18 you know the early 1800s well that's it's not really that long ago is it when you when you start thinking about if you've been around for 61 years you start thinking well no actually it's the how time passes and and yet how how the world changes And yet when you're in it seemingly nothing happens do you know what I mean seemingly from one day to next to the next it's sort of mundanity of human existence except for you know obviously invasions in Ukraine and things like that but you know if you're like me a bit of a sort of spinstery type lady although I have been married four times but I I feel spinster-ish um and if you're like me where nothing much goes on you I just write play piano and chat and that that's my life you know things don't seem to happen but I have noticed that in you know the space of sort of five years if you look back you would never have predicted where you are hopefully I mean I hope your lives aren't that predictable because predictability is is a bore however I do think it feels like I don't move anywhere particularly and I just repeat you know I mean obviously you've got to eat but do you ever feel like that you wake up in the morning like oh it's breakfast again oh it's just lunch every day it's bloody lunch every day it's supper do you know what I mean it's all the same it's all the same well I think because I'm always on this uh you know live longer diet I do tend to eat very Sami food all the time perhaps I should change it up a bit actually I went out for a meal with mum today it was very nice very very nice I had a it was the burger the double cheeseburger thing but the skinny version so it arrived rather gloriously without its Bap it looked lovely and a huge salad that's absolutely it was wonderful guys it was really wonderful um so I know you weren't you know you it doesn't make sense to brag about a restaurant that you're nowhere near but I thought it was a really good idea to you know dish the bap and Dish the chips and to offer that to clients you know people are obviously looking now and they're taking account of things they had the calorie value as well at this restaurant which I thought was a good move really good move all right what have I got I'm going to play for you Mr capricious solo piano it's a capricious piece of music there are some slight fugish elements in it and I mean I played it as an accompaniment so it's not actually originally written as a solo um but I I knew I wanted to write this song about Mr capricious I would have probably written the lyrics before I did the piano I I think I normally do that yeah I do um so yeah I would have I would have had this Mr capricious on my mind because it was about one of my ex-husbands actually and it was very difficult violent relationship and I and these two sort of um opposing left and right hand kind of thing you know it's slightly angry and misunderstood and I think you really get that from the piece actually um so tomorrow I'm going to do I'm going to choose my key wisely perhaps perhaps D major and I'm going to just do piano a few piano pieces for the week so that I've got lots of stuff lots of piano stuff for you guys to listen to and so I'll choose my key and then I'll perhaps do some slowish sleepy compositions you know for helping us get to sleep I think that's a better idea don't you we don't want to be vibing party vibing at this time late time of our lives in this late time of night okay then guys so Mr capricious solo piano is all yours and um have a great sleep wherever you are in the world snuggle up with Teddy or your cat um my cat actually hilariously I went around the its side of the bed to look for War and Peace my book War and Peace and it completely freaked out he jumped up and ran away and I thought well she's really not used to me going that side of the bed what a crazy cat um anyway I'm going to read a little bit more of War and Peace and well you can listen to mining for love and join me again tomorrow for any of the podcasts if you like a bit of a listen certainly join me tomorrow evening because I'll miss you if you don't [Music] oh
hello beautiful people off the internet I'm here with my gorgeous Romeo who's my white Persian cat with the most beautiful blue eyes and he's just sitting here purring away I don't know if you can hear that maybe you can hear something strange in the background anyway what's been going on well I've changed um uh streaming sites for for this podcast so although this podcast is Overland trademark has been going for quite a while it's in a it's having a rebirth for various technical reasons so just a little bit of a change around I guess I think just giving it a little bit more energy and trying to give it a bit more I would say the word spunk but I don't think I think that's an old word is it is that an old word when they they just use it in Old films if somebody was spunky but I think I think it may have other other meanings now I'm not sure I'm very out of touch guys very out of touch so anyway this this is a journal diary type podcast with tips on getting wealthy because you see once you know how to do it it gets easier and easier so I'm going to be sharing those sort of little tips little tricks and I keep my nose to the ground and I hear about things I hear about investment and I hear about what's big and what's small and where you should put your money in and where you should definitely not put your money now most of these things I hear over dinner right so obviously I can't name names because some of it could well be what's termed as Insider information and some of it could be termed as pillow talk so one never knows for sure if one's tips that's tips tips I said going to come right or not so we'll just be Loosely discussing what it is that I'm trying out I try everything out guys I've also got loads of beauty because I've got shares in a business for beauty for the over 60s so I do all these experiment really I try they give me all this equipment so I try it all out and lately I've been using the hyaluronic no need or pressure pen to give myself a jawline and it's absolutely fantastic guys it's fantastic I'll do a proper review of it if I can't find one that I've done before in the old podcast I think I may have some old podcasts on my YouTube account so listen I've got a lot of you I've got a lot of accounts all over the place because I like to go where it's free because the minute you start paying for the privilege of somebody recording your your talking it's a bit it doesn't make sense does it you should you shouldn't have to pay for that because they're getting all the notoriety so I'm I'm changing things off a bit and I'm going where it's free and YouTube of course is free we know we pay in the end we all pay in the end we pay with a god-awful advertising but it's it's free to host and I have got years and years of recordings on YouTube most of them are now behind the paywall on my website but we'll talk about that another time I'm not going to bore you with the technicalities of my business at this particular point in time now I've just been out with Mama and we went for a super Romeo is going to jump over the microphone go on then do it go on you know you want toum we had we went to a chain a restaurant chain go on then do it there we go it wasn't too noisy was it guys get off right we went to a chain and we were you know impressed is the wrong word but starving is the right word so um they did the they did the menu with the calories at the end which a lot of restaurants in the United Kingdom are doing now I don't know if they do that where you guys are I have no idea where you are most of you I think are in America um and one one meal the mixed grill guys was two two and a half thousand calories I mean that's you know I mean I absolutely gobsmacked that anybody could eat that amount of calories in one meal but the thing is I probably have done before I probably didn't even notice it and I suppose it's the fact content isn't it fat doesn't fill you up does it no so needless to say I'm on this high protein diet I'm going to live guys until I'm 140 so I'll be sharing the joys of that with you guys too how am I doing it for the first method the first way is to cut down on your fat intake so lots of exercises I've got my YouTube as well so you can if you sign up you can these are private YouTubes though they're they're on my site but I'll be talking about it and talking is free me talking is always going to be free me doing and being watched is not free that you have to pay for you see the difference so hopefully you know this is enough for you I don't know is it enough if you want to see me you'll have to go elsewhere but I think talking is enough I think listening to me waffle on so I'll be talking about the news and things like that what's what's been happening in the news you know um various things have happened this week with Mr Wagner man I can't I don't I never remember names I'm 61 years old I am never ever ever going to remember names from now on I've never done it all my life it's not going to change anymore is it so I'm extremely forgetful about names never a face though never a face so Mr Wagner was obviously killed by the Russians in his airplane um why was he even in it one wonders doesn't you would think if you you would know that you were a Target you would know that surely unless he was absolutely bloody stupid is he a stupid man maybe he is a stupid man it's just a thug I know he was uh mercenary and you know just going for where the money is basically and he used to make hot dogs for the for the for the Kremlin oh dear anyway that's about as far as I get within you so you are not going to hear a serious comment on the news each day but you might hear my take on it it's an old lady's take on the news um and other stuff so beauty news comments opinions and the La Creme de La Creme my friends will be the midnight show when I play a piece of my music because I'm a musician I'm a cellist and a Pianist and a composer so that's it that's my introduction over for today but not for tonight because tonight in the wee small hours we you I and whoever else is listening will Nestle Down Under the duck for the duvet and we will snuggle up and listen to a bit of music and say goodnight to each other expect some stories as well I'm going to put up some stories in a minute okay guys I think that's I think that's it that's my introduction to the new show Welcome All of You
hello gorgeous people of the internet welcome welcome to the four post to bed so what a day I had actually really incredibly busy and I was moving fridges and charging around and I had a photo shoot for the new Daisy bra and it was just total Mayhem guys total Mayhem but I thought I would tell you all about my only fans which is now up and running for the martianess of Dorchester now if you don't know the martianess of Dorchester is a poet performance perch and I go around places and I dress in regalia aristocratic regalia and I recite lude poetry about fruit and vegetables and flowers I've done a flower one um so I've started in only fans and you can access all the podcasts there as well um but also on any fans you can I'm tattoo TV so you can watch me live tattoos so I'm live tattooing this week guys I'm just waiting for some ink it's such a ball waiting isn't it for deliveries um SO waiting for my pink ink because the pink roses right up along my the very top of my thigh by my knickers and slightly in because that you know it's a good place for me to tattoo there because it's quite close to mine eyes and I wear very very strong lenses to tattoo and I can actually see so I'm going a bit blind guys because I'm old well I'm not old I'm getting older I'm maturing like wine of course um rather than uh how would you say rotting like an old Peach God I haven't got to that stage yet um but anyway so only fans martians Rochester tattoo TV is my handle I think at tattoo TV I think that's what it said no I think it might be at martians of George does a bit of a mouthful isn't it but do go pop along have a look and you can also access all the other things I do the erotic art I spent many years creating erotic art and you can um see it all there and you can order a signed print but you have to order it I'm not I'm not you know printing up and framing up ready it's just ridiculous waste of money to do that but you can order and you know I take PayPal and you can I'm verified on PayPal as a business account of course I've got a website as well um you know if you the thing with the website is I don't do too much raunchy stuff on there for a couple of reasons you know I've got a kids show on there and I don't want confusion there isn't there is a mature channel on my show you have to subscribe so I guess there's less art erotica in terms of Art and filmmaking on the website but there is a bit on there but really I mean if it's if you're looking for raunchy if you're looking for you know adult you know drugs violence sex rock and roll all of that you're better off going to my only fans um my website I'm going to keep relatively tame although there is a mature channel on there and you can watch all the videos that I've done in the last decades and some of those are pretty raunchy I must say but only fans for new new stuff and you can ask me to um do one of my performances so I'm also an ordained minister so you can get if you've sinned I will happily write a prayer for you and read it on film and you can buy that as a performance artwork so quite good fun anyway I did that today so what I've what else have I done today I've launched the bra I've set up my only fans and I've moved a fridge and I'm absolutely exhausted I've cycled I've ran I've run upstairs I've run downstairs I've emptied rubbish and from the penthouse and absolutely bloody exhausted guys so I'm going to have a well-earned rest now so that was just a quick update so if you pop over to the website I'll put all the links for only fans on there as well and there's a Blog on the website which is quite good and there's also there's quite a bit on the website actually the website is pretty singing and dancing and pretty fabulous and of course you can buy artwork as well so we've just released a lovely print by my mum actually who's just launching her art career as an abstract painter and I've really I'm really impressed with some of her things so I'm putting those in my shop so yeah really good and if you ever want to chat to me you can probably do that better by accessing my only fans I'll probably if you if you're a subscriber on my only fans I will actually condescend to chat because I'm not going to chat to you on my Instagram or you know I hate these platforms and do you know what everybody that talks to me on Twitter and Instagram it's usually a robot trying to sell me likes or get me to be an ambassador for their cheap jewelry and I'm just not going to do that guys so there we go quick update I do um I broadcast in the mornings more but I just thought I'd let you know because I'm quite proud of everything I'm feeling rather I'm feeling rather able today and I'm feeling rather accomplished so so um yeah go and see what I do
Well, whatever next? See you later alligators #marchioness #dorchester #daisybrahello Internet welcome to the four post bed do you know what it's absolutely bloody freezing in the United Kingdom at the moment so I'm going to get out the Velvet swag today for the four poster I changed them to the summer ones which are white and sort of see-through and um it offers absolutely no uh no protection from the British elements and it's ridiculous because it's only August it's not even August is it we're still in July and we've had about a week of sun while the rest of Europe burned we were in rain and wind absolutely shocking absolutely shocking um so yes I'm I'm prepping for winter again now in other news I have launched my martians of Dorchester exclusive podcast called doctor sensuality which is over on my other platform so you'll get that on spreaker and you'll probably get it you know different places I imagine than than this one so this one's still I servline however I am going to share the erotic poems with you because do you know what it's who I am now I'm I've come out as the martianist at last and I write fruit poetry and I feel like I should share it with the world um now what else is new the bra guys the bra so I launched the bra yesterday popped it on my site and today I have to because I've promised myself and the world model it which I couldn't be bothered yesterday I was so exhausted just doing the photography for the shop you know the shop images today I need to do loads of selfies and I was just lying there and I was thinking you know what what's really good about the bra well the really good thing is that it looks like you're not wearing a bra so you can see you can see your nipples through your clothing but actually it's just a daisy and I thought I need to get the public you know really into this Daisy they need to bond with the Daisy um so I'm going to do a wet t-shirt okay so I'm going to get in a bath guys I'm going to get in about I'm going to put on full makeup I think I'll go red lipstick I'll go the whole hog but not very often I put red lipstick on these days but I'm going to um so the Jezebel the inner Jezebel is going to come out and I'm going to sex up my new bra completely with full daisies showing through the wet t-shirt I thought yes this is the answer and as far as I know they won't ban me on my insta but for for daisies of course one doesn't know because the the wonderful thing was it wonderful it's probably not wonderful actually the thing with modernity in the internet and the way that men are specifically and advertisers respond to it is that anything can be eroticized even the humble eggplant do you remember when I think they banned it did they not the aubergine the purple aubergine it suddenly became used as a sexual icon um or or image or logo and I think I think they did ban it so I may get my Daisy band the Banning of the daisy what a great poem do you know what you've just inspired me guys I think I do this poetry about fruit but maybe I should start doing it about anything that's a euphemism do you see what I mean so he touched the petals on my Daisy I'm going to do that that's going to be today's poem because do you know what I really like that or the other thing I could do I guess guys was I could have floral poetry on one podcast and fruit poetry on another who knows what I'll come up with next anyway so this is the um the run-up to the public photo shoot you you need to go to my site I think what I'll do a lot of them will be rather risque and I'll have to put them on only fans so the bra is going on only fans today as well it's going to have Daisy Bryce going to have her own only fans which is rather exciting um I have got one already but I'll change the name it's the Reverend I believe because of course we know that I'm ordained I'm an ordained minister I hope you know that and I can I am available actually for hire for lost rights and also for a prayer a prayer written just for you guys prayers to apologize for your behavior prayers to apologize for the sexualization of my Daisy Etc um so pop along if you get a moment to my website and have a look there's a page for the doctor centrality um podcast which is not just the imaginess of Dorchester reading poetry about fruits and petals but also about literature and art literature that was banned in the olden days I say Olden I may have been alive no I wasn't you have to you can only put public domain books up work that were written I think before to 190 1927 maybe but by now used to be 26 where I'm guessing it's gone up a year it goes up every January um and anything after that is no is not public domain yet so you've got to be very very careful but I'm what I'm trying to do is share with you guys public domain literature and you can download it it can be you know reproduce yours it's a digital asset and you can actually if you're up for reselling you can actually do that or the other thing guys you can do is you can use it to fatten up your YouTube if you're going down that route I tried that route and I didn't really like it however today today with my wet t-shirt granny granny in a way in the daisy wet t-shirt I'm on such a bloody roll today guys this is the way forward granny does wet t-shirt I bet I get loads of hits on that because the world wants a curiosity the world is not so interested in the ordinaire the online World wants ridicule and extremes I mean I have to balance somewhere in between and the way I do that is by performing in character so the Martian is Dorchester is slightly ridiculous and it really doesn't matter you know two Hoots if she's ridiculed because it's not actually me it's not the deep down me the person that I really am who nobody knows um I do I found myself in about 50 no 1950 I found myself in my 50s when I was about menopause uh disco menopause don't fear it and don't worry about it whether it's yours or someone else's because really it's just a cloak coming off but it's a slow cloak takes a few years you know you're not going to it's not magically going to come off in a striptease with velcro it's a slower drawing of the curtain and behind is the Beautiful You the you that you always wanted to be but always covered up it's a wonderful time menopause anyway that's enough so I'll see you for wet t-shirt a bit later on yeah au revoir
