Description

Where can I find support through all of the hard seasons of life? Where can I find encouragement and solidarity, so that I know that I am not alone? How can I overcome this hardship? Is there a place to build community and friendship as we work through the hard times as well as celebrate the good times?
Welcome to the Emerging as Me podcast! The podcast where we answer these questions and so much more! Tune in for conversations with me, your host, Kaitlin Cox, and special guests. As we work through the hard stuff together. We will uplift and empower one another to persevere through all of life’s challenges.

We’ll cover it all! From marriage and motherhood, living in rural communities, loss and hardship, and how to keep faith alive while finding hope in your everyday life.

Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and loved. The journey of life, as I have learned, isn’t always a direct path to success and happiness. I’m traveling down life’s winding roads, learning to navigate as I go. Always growing and emerging with new perspectives and understanding. I’m constantly emerging as me, through all of the things that life throws my way. So join me on this journey as we choose to emerge as a better version of ourselves every day.

If you're anything like me, trying to do all the things all at the same time often means that I end up overextending myself, and those things either never get done or the quality just isn't that great. In this episode, I'm sharing the latest news around the opening of my salon and why I'm choosing to pause the podcast this summer. Because sometimes you gotta slow down to speed up.   Resources & Links: Hair by Kaitlin Cox Salon Store FREE Words of Faith download   Connect with Katilin: Follow on Instagram @emergingasme Subscribe to my email list   Make sure to hit subscribe so you never miss an episode!
Have you ever seen people walking along, looking down at their cell phones, so absorbed in them that they aren't watching where they're walking? It's so easy to get overwhelmed by the stressors of everyday life, especially being a parent. So today, I'm sharing a part of my devotional that's just so relevant to my life today. If you feel like things are weighing on you and you're just stressed out by the world and what's happening around you, remember that you need only to look up.   Resources & Links: Worry Less, Pray More: A Woman's Devotional Guide to Anxiety-Free Living Colossians 3:1-2 Hair by Kaitlin Cox Salon Store FREE Words of Faith download   Connect with Katilin: Follow on Instagram @emergingasme Subscribe to my email list   Make sure to hit subscribe so you never miss an episode!
Today, I have a special episode for y'all because I'm sharing a recent interview I did with Emily Reuschel on her podcast, Gather in Growth. In this interview, I talk about how I've evolved over the past decade or so of my life and where I'm at now. So, if you don't already know my background and some of the things that my husband and I have gone through, I thought it would be great to share here on this podcast so you can hear how I've moved through some tough seasons in life and where I've landed. And if you relate to any part of my story, I hope it brings you peace, comfort, and encouragement.    Resources & Links: Gather in Growth Hair by Kaitlin Cox Salon Store FREE Words of Faith download   Connect with Katilin: Follow on Instagram @emergingasme Subscribe to my email list   Make sure to hit subscribe so you never miss an episode!
Something that's been on my mind a lot lately is cell phone use, especially social media. Technology can be amazing, but there's a fine line between the good and bad aspects of it. So today, I'm sharing my feelings about social media, my relationship with it, and how I'm reflecting on those feelings and moving forward. I'm also exploring what a digital detox could look like so I can be more present with my family and more engaged in my own life.   Resources & Links: The Anxious Generation Hair by Kaitlin Cox Salon Store FREE Words of Faith download   Connect with Katilin: Follow on Instagram @emergingasme Subscribe to my email list   Make sure to hit subscribe so you never miss an episode!
