The Korean shooting team failed to add to its medal tally in the trap event on the final day of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games.

The Korean team of Lee Bona (Busan City Hall), Cho Ji-A (Commerce), and Kang Ji-Eun (KT) scored 330 points in the women's trap team event to finish fourth behind China (357), India (337), and Kazakhstan (336) at the Fuyang Throat Sports Center in Hangzhou, China on Monday (Sept. 1).

In the team event, the individual scores are combined to determine the medal color.

In the individual competition, South Korea's Cho Cho-ah finished eighth with 113 points, followed by Lee Bona in 13th (110 points) and Kang Ji-eun in 16th (107 points). All three missed out on the top-six individual final.

The men's competition also failed to produce a medal.

Chung Chang-hee (Daegu Facilities Corporation), Ahn Dae-myung (Busan City Hall), and Kim Soo-young (Ulsan Buk-gu Office) combined for 349 points to finish sixth in the team competition. India (361 points) won the gold medal, followed by Kuwait (359 points) in silver and China (354 points) in bronze.

Meanwhile, South Korea, which concluded its shooting schedule with the trap event, collected 14 medals (2 gold, 4 silver, 8 bronze) at the Games. While they didn't win the three gold medals they were hoping for, they still managed to hit the right medals.
