To hear more, visit www.patrickcasey.comOn the latest episode of Restoring Order, I discuss Paul Kingsnorth’s 2025 book Against the Machine: On the Unmaking of Humanity. Subscribe or the Machine wins.Kingsnorth was a left-wing environmental activist who converted to Orthodox Christianity and adopted reactionary politics. His book offers an insightful, eloquent critique of the mentality that undergirds technological society: the push for maximum efficiency, organization, centralization, and profit, which he calls the Machine. Is this Machine the primary culprit behind Western decline? Could it be that the left – and some conservatives – are unknowingly carrying out the will of this force? Or does Kingsnorth have it all wrong? In this episode, I explore technology, capitalism, the loss of meaning, accelerationism, human obsolescence, the nature of right and left, and much more.
On the latest episode of Restoring Order, I consider whether big tech, overall, has moved rightward since Trump’s 2024 reelection. According to the experts, Restoring Order is the best podcast on the internet. Subscribe now!I begin by reviewing the Trump administration’s recent crackdown on Microsoft’s visa abuses. I outline the myriad of ways in which Microsoft has sold out American workers. After discussing the H-1B/PERM scam for a bit, I delve into Microsoft’s anti-white, anti-American DEI policies – policies that the corporation doubled down on (!) after Trump won in 2024.In the second half of the show, I discuss how Microsoft is undermining Trump’s ratepayer protection pledge, which exists to protect Americans from increased utility costs from data centers. I then talk about Microsoft’s suspicious China connections – in particular, the recent revelation that the corporation was using Chinese engineers in China to work on cloud technology utilized by the Department of War. Complete insanity. Toward the end of the show, I consider why Microsoft chooses to pay its taxes in Ireland, rather than America. Is the company part of a global shadowy Fenian network? Am I part of it? Of course not. But that doesn’t mean Microsoft is working toward American interests. This is a public episode. This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit www.patrickcasey.comTom Sauer is a former Naval Special Operations Officer who now works as a political consultant. He joins me for a wide-ranging discussion on the Iran war. We’re only one podcast away from saving the West. Subscribe now. First, Tom tells us about his background. We learn about his time as an EOD officer and the relevance of his skill set to the Iran war. I then ask Tom about Operation Epic Fury. Are we winning? Tom explains why America benefits from maintaining peaceful, orderly shipping lanes. Toward the end of the first half, I ask Tom about the Strait. Is it open? If not, how bad is the situation? In the second half of the show (available to subscribers), we continue our discussion of the Strait. We then switch gears to discuss the Iranian regime. While not an explicit goal, the war’s proponents obviously desire the overthrow of the Islamic Republic. Are we anywhere near regime change? We then discuss Israel’s role in the war. Was the Jewish State the sole reason President Trump took us into Iran? Is Israel controlling the president with Epstein blackmail, as some, such as Joe Kent, have speculated? Toward the end of the show, we consider the political ramifications stemming from the Iran war. Are the Republicans screwed in the midterms thanks to Epic Fury? Tune in to find out. This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit www.patrickcasey.comOn the latest episode of Restoring Order, I cover immigration developments, consider whether you can seduce women with Jedi mind tricks, and review Nikole Hannah-Jones’s much-discussed article on race and education. First, I talk about the state of mass deportations. I review some immigration-related news and consider what, if anything, Trump could do to take the deportations to the next level. I talk about the stupidity of the online right for a bit. Did I go too far? I then watch a viral clip in which a woman warns other women to guard against negging. We’re only a few paid subscribers away from saving the West. Subscribe now.In the second half of the show, I watch a recent clip in which Barack Obama claims that letting women run the world for two years would make things better. Does he really mean what he says? I explain why Obama is a cynical, cunning operator. I then switch gears to cover Nikole Hannah-Jones’s latest NYT piece, in which she recounts – and ultimately laments – her decision to place her (mostly) black daughter in black public schools. It’s a fascinating tale, one that concludes with Jones accepting the truths of human biodiversity and swearing an oath of undying loyalty to Nathan Cofnas. Not really. But I do examine her motivations, copes, and inaccuracies, and offer my own explanation for dysfunctional American schools. (You’ll never guess what that is.)
This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit www.patrickcasey.comAllum Bokhari is the managing director at the Foundation for Freedom Online. He is the author of #DELETED: Big Tech’s Battle to Erase a Movement and Subvert Democracy. He joins me to discuss his work, artificial intelligence, effective altruism, and more. Allum first recounts his origin story. We learn about his involvement in Gamergate and work with Breitbart in the early days of MAGA. He tells us a little about his work at FFO, and we agree that Trump deserves ample credit for undoing social media censorship. We then switch gears to discuss artificial intelligence. Sam Altman and Dario Amodei have been in the news lately – what’s that about? We discuss AI alarmism and review some of these alarmists’ predictions. I ask Allum if he believes they’re sincere; he says yes. Toward the end of the first half, I ask Allum about effective altruism, a subculture to which many key people in not only AI, but Silicon Valley more generally, belong. I am saving Western civilization one podcast at a time. Subscribe now. In the second half of the show (available to subscribers), we continue our discussion of effective altruism. Allum argues that right-wing EAs are outliers – that most are left-wing. We consider the implications of left-wing polycule enthusiasts developing the regulatory framework for technology they control. What would such a framework look like? Allum and I discuss the international nature of AI regulation. I ask one final question: How has the right responded to AI stuff so far? I bid Allum farewell and move on to an equally important topic: National Cheeseburger Day. I briefly create a burger tier-list and offer my thoughts on this important American culinary creation. Later, I talk about Dan Hollaway, who was attempting to define the bounds of conservative discourse while his wife’s OnlyFans was having a 50% off sale. I review some of Dana Loesch’s nutty tweets. What does all this say about the state of social conservatism? Toward the end of the show, I talk about Erick Erickson’s latest article and the growing attempts to gatekeep the right. How should we respond to these attacks? Tune in to find out. Follow Allum Bokhari on TwitterFollow FFO on TwitterBuy Allum’s book
