Today, Troop 457 adds the 102nd name to our Eagle Wall of Honor as Orion Miller successfully completes his Eagle Scout Board of Review.
Orion started his Scouting journey as a Cub Scout in 2012, earned his Arrow of Light and crossed over into our Troop in 2017. During his time as a Boy Scout, Orion earned 34 merit badges, attended National Youth Leadership Training, and held numerous leadership positions (including over a year and a half as Senior Patrol Leader). For his Eagle Scout project, he built a new flag retirement pit at the Zelienople American Legion.
As always, we look at upcoming Troop RSVP deadlines, important reminders, and upcoming events. We also reflect on this week's inspiration quote from Aristotle "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."
