Journey Through Nevi’im Rishonim

How can Tanach help us understand the unfolding story of the Jewish people? This shiur explores prophecy as a lens for understanding history, the return to Israel, and the renewal of Jewish national identity—inviting us to recognize the signs of redemption and take responsibility for our part in the story.

Why make time for Tanach when there is so much Torah to learn? Drawing on Rav Kook and the Vilna Gaon’s commentary on Yeshayahu, this shiur explores the importance of learning Tanach and opens a discussion of leadership through the imagery of the community’s eyes, head, and heart.

What does returning home truly mean? In this opening shiur, Rabbi Elie Mischel explores Shivat Zion as a central theme of Tanach—a return to our land, our identity, and Hashem. Drawing on prophetic vision and profound Torah teachings, he considers how Am Yisrael’s journey home carries hope for the entire world—and invites us to recognize our own place in that unfolding story.
