Moon Fever

Moon Fever

2026-10-2235:36

It’s been a good year for new music, and newer bands being embraced by the masses. One of those relatively new bands is Moon Fever. I had the opportunity to hang and chat with the whole band. As Triston says at one point, ‘this is what happens when friends get together’. It didn’t have the feel of an interview. It felt organic. And this Seattle band has a story to tell, through their music and their words… I invite you to take a listen. Sit back, relax and enjoy…
This one took me back. My pre-New York days, working at an Alternative station in South Carolina. This was when I got a taste of Scary Kids Scaring Kids. It was a band on the cusp of greatness, & then it was gone before really starting. There has been music. There has been touring. Now 20 years later, they are back with a new album and single and a new OFFICIAL lead singer. We’ve got a lot to talk about. I invite you to take a listen. Sit back, relax and enjoy.
Wes Scantlin

Wes Scantlin

I’m still editing a couple of interviews so I figured I would go archival for this episode. Wes Scantlin is one of my favorite people in the rock industry. The man gets a lot of flack, deservedly so. But every encounter I’ve had with the man, he’s been witty, endearing and massively appreciative of the fans. Everyone makes mistakes. His seem to be magnified on a megaphone. But I have nothing bad to say about the man. This interview goes back a couple years and we talk all things, Puddle of Mudd. We revisit the past. So take that trip with me. I invite you to take a listen. Sit back, relax and enjoy…
For this fireside chat, we take the DeLorean back to the 70s and a conversation with Jock Bartley of Firefall. The band was a collaboration between Jock (who’d been touring with Graham Parsons) and Rick Roberts (formerly of the Flying Burrito Brothers). The result was multiple top 40 hits and tours with the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Doobie Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. We talk this, as well as the fact they are still touring and playing to fans all across the country. Once a rock star, always a rock star.   I invite you to take a listen. Sit back, relax and enjoy…
Butcher Babies

Butcher Babies

2026-09-2536:33

Butcher Babies made a splash 17 years ago as an aggressive metal band with not one, but 2 woman, fronting the band. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to interview Carla Harvey, who officially left Butcher Babies in 2024. Now I get the chance to chat with Butcher Babies now, with Heidi Shepherd as the lone vocalist. Henry Flury and Sean Violet join. We talk the new album, single, direction, and hopes for the future. I invite you to take a listen. Sit back, relax and enjoy…
