Is it ok to have dubious, slightly tyrannical oil-state owners of your club, if it means winning a league cup? Des and Lisa don't think so, although the majority of Totalsport’s callers, like Billy (Alan Davies) don’t seem to mind.  Elsewhere, controversial motivator Alexei Gold (Tom Stourton)  is invited onto the station to plug his new, dubious, protein drink, Jordan Young (Tom Rosenthal) returns with the hottest of takes, and -  not to be outdone on World Record Day -  Des attempts to eat the world’s hottest chilli, inadvertently sports-washing his own reputation in the process. Starring Lolly Adefope, Fergus Craig, Jessica Fostekew & Helen Cripps Also featuring : Alan Davies, Tom Rosenthal, Annie Mcgrath, Tom Stourton, Stewart Laws,  Hayley Ellis, Glen Moore, and Phil Wang Written by Rhys James & Mark G Smith Produced, Engineered and music by Tom Jenkins Executive Produced by Tayo Popoola Directed by Mark G Smith Created by Tayo Popoola A Furious Styles Production, for Keep It Light Media.  Learn more about your ad choices. Is mental health in sport actually important, or is it just trendy to say so? When a sports reporter joins the show to plug his new book and pushes the importance of player welfare, Des and Lisa expose his hypocrisy, and remind him of his on-air bullying from a previous show.     Meanwhile, ex-pro Eddie Miller promotes his campaign to help footballers deal with abuse, bringing with him an anonymous, voice-altered player to read out some of the vitriol he’s received, to the embarrassed amusement of Lisa.  Darren Foster, host of the breakfast show phones in to tell the hosts that the game’s gone, and everyone has turned soft. Des gets his horoscope read by a faith healer, who also uses her skills to predict the coming weekend’s results.  Starring Lolly Adefope, Fergus Craig, Jessica Fostekew & Helen Cripps Also featuring: Sunil Patel, David Elms, Joe Barnes, Lily Knight, Glen Moore, Rhys James, and Luke Kempner.  Written by Rhys James & Mark G Smith Produced, Engineered and music by Tom Jenkins Executive Produced by Tayo Popoola Directed by Mark G Smith Created by Tayo Popoola A Furious Styles Production, for Keep It Light Media.  Learn more about your ad choices. EP4: Women in Football

Lisa ( Lolly Adefope) and Des ( Fergus Craig) address the issue of equality in football, although judging by some of the calls coming in, there’s still a long way to go. Bobby (Ben Bailey-Smith) suggests making it more like Love Island, Derek (Ed Gamble) explains why only the male body can be perfect for football, and Jordan Young ( Tom Rosenthal) returns to express his own unique brand of support for women everywhere.  Des riles up a female caller ( Lou Sanders) by saying equal pay in the women’s game isn’t possible given market forces, though backtracks on the idea once he finds out he’s paid less than his co-host. Starring Lolly Adefope, Fergus Craig, Jessica Fostekew & Helen Cripps Also featuring: Ben Bailey-Smith, Lou Sanders, Beth Rylance, Lloyd Griffiths, Tom Rosenthal, Glenn Moore, Travis Jay, Lucy Jenkins, and Ed Gamble Written by Rhys James & Mark G Smith Produced, Engineered and music by Tom Jenkins Executive Produced by Tayo Popoola Directed by Mark G Smith Created by Tayo Popoola A Furious Styles Production, for Keep It Light Media.  Learn more about your ad choices. Totalsport FM attempts to modernise its output further, as station manager Jan(Helen Cripps) tells Des (Fergus Craig) that he is being replaced for today’s show by an AI robot called Beebo, who will sit in alongside Lisa (Lolly Adefope).  Things go awry when Beebo’s machine learning sees him echoing the views of the station’s listeners and his popularity soars. The team realise they must destroy it or risk losing their jobs, so join forces with producer Carla (Jessica Fostekew) to frame the robot into upsetting the station’s top brass, and main sponsors.  Starring Lolly Adefope, Fergus Craig, Jessica Fostekew & Helen Cripps Also featuring:  Stevie Martin, Lucy Beaumont, Glenn Moore, Marina Johnson, Maggie Jenkins, Adam Hess & Mark G Smith, Written by Rhys James & Mark G Smith Produced, Engineered and music by Tom Jenkins Executive Produced by Tayo Popoola Directed by Mark G Smith Created by Tayo Popoola A Furious Styles Production, for Keep It Light Media.  Learn more about your ad choices.
