We're joined by Emil DeRosa of the "Ben & Emil Show" to discuss billionaire publishing tycoon, flat-tax enthusiast and 1996 and 2000 Republican Presidential candidate, Steve Forbes. Stay tuned for part 2 next week on
We continue the discussion with Jaffer Khan on Henry Wallace's relationship with Truman, his 1948 campaign, "Russian comprimat" and what kind of world we'd be living in had he been renominated in 1944.
Comedian and former Redacted Tonight correspondent, Jaffer Khan joins Anders and Freddy for a breakdown of Henry Wallace. Not to be confused with the segregationist Governor George Wallace, Henry was also a third party candidate but from the other end of the spectrum. In addition to running as the Progressive Party Presidential nominee in 1948, Henry Wallace played a fascinating role in the Roosevelt Administration, as FDR's Agriculture Secretary and later, Vice President. As we discuss, Wallace has a healthy share of fans and critics alike but, as they all agree, history would be incomprehensibly different had he been renominated in 1944 and taken over after FDR's death.
