They were recently burglarized during the final phase of construction of their newest village in the Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood and lost thousands of dollars in equipment. When Dan Brophy, a popular teacher at the Oregon Culinary Institute, was found murdered in 2018, it became one of the most astounding true crime stories Oregon had seen in decades.
