My brain has been on fire this past week. In this episode I talk about my brain storm I've been having about writing a book that stemmed from a song concept I was working on. That concept turned into an album then turned into a series of short stories. Those have now turned into a series of short books. This will be an ongoing project and is quickly turning into a passion project. I also am going to be expanding more of the Substack. They said it was cult-like, un-American, a betrayal of journalistic grit. Fast forward to Biden’s 2020 win, and the media’s at it again praising his “empathy,” his aviators, his ice cream runs. MAGA screamed hypocrisy, accusing the press of treating Biden like a Hollywood icon instead of a politician. They weren’t wrong the media’s obsession was cringeworthy, elevating presidents to pop idols. But let’s hold up a mirror. July 4, 2025, at Mar-a-Lago, MAGA’s doing the same thing. X posts call Trump “the greatest leader since Lincoln,” Melania “our queen.” Supporters share videos of the fireworks like it’s a coronation, not a bill signing. The BBB-$4.5 trillion in tax cuts, border walls, AI surveillance gets framed as Trump’s personal triumph, not policy to debate. Soundbites from the crowd? “Trump’s saving America!” “Melania’s elegance is unmatched!” It’s fanboy central, folks. The same people who sneered at Obama’s “Hope” posters or Biden’s “Scranton Joe” mythos are now writing their own fan fiction, turning Trump into a superhero and Melania into a First Lady goddess. Here’s the kicker: MAGA’s become 100% what they despised. They started as rebels against elite worship, media bias, and cultish devotion to politicians.
