Can't Host is a gay and queer men’s sex and relationships podcast aiming to challenge toxic gay stereotypes, and explore the complex dynamics of gay relationships, with the aim of creating opportunities for healing and growth. We'll discuss whether size matters, question the top/bottom binary, talk about healing sexual trauma, how to overcome dick- and body-shame, falling out of love with someone, homonormativity, and more. If you're a gay guy who's frustrated with the rigid rules of the gay community, seeking more joy and authenticity in your sex life and relationships, you're in the right place! www.georgelizos.com

In this personal solo episode, I explore why romantic relationships can activate some of our deepest wounds and how our triggers can become doorways into unresolved trauma. I share a vulnerable experience from my own relationship that triggered a freeze response around sex, shame, and performance, and how I recognized what was happening and brought myself back into safety. I then guide you through the three-step process I use to work with relationship triggers: regulating your nervous system, acknowledging and expressing what you’re feeling, and exploring the deeper experiences underneath the trigger. We talk about fight, flight, freeze, and fawn responses, nervous system regulation, the wet noodle technique, box breathing, the butterfly hug, somatic awareness, and journaling questions for identifying where a trigger began. This episode will help you understand what your body may be trying to communicate when you get triggered and approach those moments with greater awareness and care. In this episode, I sit down with Amos Wolff to create a practical guide to adoption for gay men. We explore domestic and international adoption, foster-to-adopt, open versus closed adoption, realistic costs, discrimination gay couples may encounter, and what happens when an international adoption initially recognizes only one father as the legal parent. We also go beyond the logistics to explore what’s actually best for the child. We discuss attachment and trauma, maintaining connections with birth families, talking to children openly about their adoption story, navigating changing boundaries in open adoption, and the psychological preparation prospective gay dads should consider before becoming parents. We finish by comparing adoption and surrogacy through the financial, legal, psychological, and ethical questions gay men may want to consider when deciding how to build their family. From sex parties and dark rooms to cruising parks, hostel shower hookups, and unexpected group encounters, I’m sharing the highs, the awkward moments, and everything I learned from pushing my sexual boundaries. Along the way, I also reflect on how understanding my neurodivergence has helped me make more sense of overstimulation, consent, boundaries, and what I actually need to feel safe, comfortable, and turned on. But underneath all the sex, something deeper started to emerge. What began as my first summer of complete sexual freedom after becoming single gradually revealed a craving for intimacy, tenderness, and genuine connection. From unexpectedly wanting to hold hands with strangers in Barcelona to meeting a gorgeous Spanish guy during my final days in New York, this episode is about what happens when a summer devoted to being single, slutty, and free ends with the one thing I definitely wasn’t looking for: falling for someone. Follow and connect at @georgecanthost on Instagram for more conversations about sex, shame, healing, and freedom. RESOURCES MENTIONEDJoin the Can't Host Telegram group: https://t.me/+AWgYq94TARQ2ODJkGet the Can't Host T-Shirts: https://www.bonfire.com/store/canthost/Ep.55: Orgies, Sex Parties and the City Part I: https://shows.acast.com/cant-host/episodes/67065c2447b414d1544aa774Ep.77: Sex Shame, OnlyFans, and My Top Era: https://georgelizos.com/blog/sex-shame-onlyfans-and-my-top-eraCONNECT WITH ME Instagram: https://instagram.com/georgelizos/Website: https://georgelizos.com/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@iamgeorgelizosFacebook Group: http://www.yourspiritualtoolkit.com/ MY BOOKS Be The Guru: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1TtCjLightworkers Gotta Work: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1TmKfProtect Your Light: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1TmJdSecrets of Greek Mysticism: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1uPvrAncient Manifestation Secrets: https://2ly.link/1zCVg Hosted on Acast. We talk about Alessandro’s journey through the world of men's work, the challenges queer men face in predominantly straight male spaces, and how many of us learn to shape-shift and mask parts of ourselves in order to feel safe and accepted. Together, we explore why so many queer men feel disconnected from other men, the impact of bullying and heteronormative culture, and how healing those wounds can unlock entirely new ways of relating.  We also dive into some of Alessandro’s most viral ideas, including why he believes all men contain a natural capacity for homoerotic connection, how queer men act as bridges between masculine and feminine energies, and why modern culture often reduces male connection to either "fuck" or "kill." Along the way, we discuss eros, intimacy, queer ancestry, spirituality, the growing movement of straight men exploring their queerness, and practical tools for cultivating deeper presence in both relationships and sex. This episode is an invitation to rethink what connection, masculinity, and queer community can look like when love is placed back at the center. Follow and connect at @georgecanthost on Instagram for more conversations about sex, shame, healing, and freedom. RESOURCES MENTIONEDJoin the Energy Work Membership: https://georgelizos.com/energy-work-membershipDownload the FREE Ultimate Energy Protection Toolkit audio training at https://www.subscribepage.com/energyprotectiontoolkit  Join the Can't Host Telegram group: https://t.me/+AWgYq94TARQ2ODJkGet the Can't Host T-Shirts: https://www.bonfire.com/store/canthost/Ep.71: Healing After a Breakup: https://georgelizos.com/blog/healing-after-a-breakup-my-twin-flame-journey-and-the-lessons-it-taught-meEp.77: Sex Shame, OnlyFans, and My Top Era: https://georgelizos.com/blog/sex-shame-onlyfans-and-my-top-eraEp.81: A Straight Guy and a Gay Guy with Tony Demetriou: https://georgelizos.com/blog/a-straight-guy-and-a-gay-guy-compare-sex-notes-with-tony-demetriouEp.82: Straight Guy Talks with Tony Demetriou: https://georgelizos.com/blog/straight-guy-talks-anal-play-rimming-the-male-g-spot-with-tony-demetriouABOUT ALESSANDRO RŌZI'm a queer ceremonialist guiding men into deeper intimacy with themselves, their desire, and their unique gifts. Growing up as the only gay child in an all-male family in northern Italy, I learned early to make myself smaller to belong. After a decade in Hollywood and an Emmy-nominated production, I followed a deeper calling into the Peruvian Amazon, apprenticing with Shipibo, Mestizo, and Ashaninka teachers. I later facilitated more than twenty men's retreats worldwide with Sacred Sons before creating spaces specifically for queer men. Today, I blend shamanic practice, somatic embodiment, IFS, mirror work, and erotic ritual through Bloom and Brotherhood of Lovers, a queer-led mystery school I co-founded with Langston Kahn. The experience left me questioning many of the assumptions I’d carried about saunas, bathhouses, and queer sexual spaces. Why did I feel so much shame walking into a sauna in the first place? Where did that shame come from? And why have so many of us inherited the belief that spaces created by gay men for pleasure and connection are somehow less respectable than other forms of community? In this episode, I explore the history of gay bathhouses, the role queer spaces have played in helping LGBTQ people find each other, and the ways sexuality, friendship, intimacy, and belonging often overlap in queer culture. We talk about chosen family, minority stress, internalized shame, and why physical queer spaces still matter in the age of dating apps. Most of all, this episode is an invitation to question the stories we’ve been told about gay community, and the shame we may still be carrying because of them.Follow and connect at @georgecanthost on Instagram for more conversations about sex, shame, healing, and freedom. RESOURCES MENTIONEDJoin the Energy Work Membership: https://georgelizos.com/energy-work-membershipDownload the FREE Ultimate Energy Protection Toolkit audio training at https://www.subscribepage.com/energyprotectiontoolkit  Join the Can't Host Telegram group: https://t.me/+AWgYq94TARQ2ODJkGet the Can't Host T-Shirts: https://www.bonfire.com/store/canthost/Ep.77: Sex Shame, OnlyFans, and My Top Era: https://georgelizos.com/blog/sex-shame-onlyfans-and-my-top-eraEp.83: Dom Tops vs Dumb Tops: Consent, Control, and Real Connection in Bed: https://georgelizos.com/blog/dom-tops-vs-dumb-tops-consent-control-and-real-connection-in-bedEp.18: Trending Gay Sex Toys with Agnetas Sergejevas: https://shows.acast.com/cant-host/episodes/66867b5704b201dd3472a0d4CONNECT WITH ME Instagram: https://instagram.com/georgelizos/Website: https://georgelizos.com/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@iamgeorgelizosFacebook Group: http://www.yourspiritualtoolkit.com/ MY BOOKS Be The Guru: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1TtCjLightworkers Gotta Work: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1TmKfProtect Your Light: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1TmJdSecrets of Greek Mysticism: https://l.linklyhq.com/l/1uPvrAncient Manifestation Secrets: https://2ly.link/1zCVg Hosted on Acast.
