Our friend Herman is back with a new story about dealing with FRUSTRATION. But before we get to that, a STUDIO SPIDER has brought to my attention that there is an ISSUE with Herman. In this ridiculous episode, we come to terms with my fallibility and listen as Herman copes with an increasingly frustrating situation. All he wants to do is add an overhang above his door so he can listen to the rain. No big deal, right? If you LOVE this story, please SHARE IT! Did your tiny person fall asleep while listening? It's time for another TWO PART story! My first one (The Mistake Artist) was so well-received, and won so many awards - okay, not YET, but give it time - that I decided to tell you another one. Figuratively; there are no mountains in this story. ENJOY!If you LOVE this story, please share it with a friend. Our story today is about a tiny person joining a family as a toddler instead of as a newborn baby, in a foster care or adoption situation. Foster care and adoption can look so many different ways and this story depicts just one way it might look (from the perspective of a sweet little hamster, naturally). My hope is the story can convey some of the many feelings that family members experience during such a time and can spark a conversation about how families can grow. Thank you to the family of tiny people that inspired this story: REID, NOLYN, MILES, BLAIRE, and MASON.Today’s episode features wonderful SOUND EFFECTS from listeners GRACE, EVRYN, NORA, LUKE, BRIANNA, GLORIA, ALAINA, and SAGE. You can send me your very own sound effect. Just use the voice memo app on your phone, record your Tiny People making a (recognizable) sound, and email it to rhea@littlestoriestinypeople.com! They might just hear their sound in a future story. The first LSFTP PICTURE BOOK, Little Fox Can't Wait to Dream, is on its way! My two year old daughter loves this podcast. We listen to it every day on our way to daycare and you should see how she starts dancing with excitement as soon as she hears the first notes of the music. I love that Rhea has provided such a rich and imaginative line of stories for my tiny person to enjoy

Rhea, how do I send you a private message? my 2 littles ask for you by name and my son nearly refuses all other children's podcasts because he loves your stories so much.

Little Stories are a highlight in our house and both my kids simply love Little Hedgehog's adventures. The stories are well written and extremely creative and imaginative and encouraged my children to be more creative with their own stories they tell. Bedtime is not bedtime until we've listened to Rhea

We just enjoyed our first story, which my 4 year old wanted to hear twice! A pleasant way to pass lunchtime together when we are both too tired to make pleasant conversation. I love the presentation style. The story was familiar enough for my child to follow and introduced a few new words and ideas to chat about. Well done!
