In this episode, we have the amazing Olivia bravely sharing her story with us, Olivia became unwell in December 2022 with asymptomatic pneumonia, which developed into sepsis. After being told she should go home by the hospital. Olivia’s partner, Callum, fought for her voice to be heard. In this episode, we have our very first guest on the podcast, Dr. Ron Daniels. -  Ron Daniels is an NHS Consultant in Intensive Care, based in Birmingham, U.K. He’s also the Executive Director of the UK Sepsis Trust and sits on the Executive Board of the Global Sepsis Alliance. In 2016 he was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to patients. The UK Sepsis Trust was founded in 2012 by Ron.
