It's officially official, the NFL season is underway which means the guys will be covering NFL lines every week for the rest of the regular season! As they are watching the Eagles and Cowboys game live with the weather delay, they start with Friday nights game in Brazil (08:43) before covering the rest of the slate of games on Sunday (11:09), Sunday afternoon (35:03), Sunday night (52:33), and Monday nights Vikings v Bears (55:20). Rome then reveals his first power rankings of the year (01:03:12) before the guys wrap up their preseason predictions from last weeks pod with their Super Bowl picks (01:05:13).

Rome, Aaron and Jaeson start the pod with a check-in on Jaeson's fantasy baseball team, who was in the running for a top 5 finish and in the money in Aaron's pricey old-mans league, before talking fantasy football which includes Rome being left out of his fantasy football draft. They then recap Week 1 in college football (23:22) with blowouts and highlighting some of the big games and big names that fell including Notre Dame v Miami (38:30), Texas v Ohio State (48:34), and Clemson v LSU (58:04). The guys give an overview and make their predictions as to who will ultimately rain supreme at the end of the year for the four major conferences (Big Ten (12:22), Big 12 (28:47), ACC (37:01) and SEC (51:08)), and who is most likely to make it into the college football playoffs. They then bring you one of their favorite segments from last year, "Aaron's College Football Games to Watch" which may or may not be every single game for Week 1 (01:12:22). Rome, Aaron, and the Jaeson kick-off with a full recap of the Hungarian Grand Prix including possible trouble brewing within F1's McLaren and Ferrari teams (02:33) before they ramble on about news coming out of the NFL including contract disputes and emerging TV deals (19:34), and looking back at the MLB trade deadline (31:35). Jaeson then delivers a riveting recap of Summer Slam night by night: Saturday featuring Gunther and CM Punk (43:53), with Cena and Brock Lesner headlining Sunday (56:51). It's another random pod for the guys, as they talk a little about everything and eagerly wait for the football season to start. First, they kick things off with the recent passing of Ozzy, the Hulkster, and Chicago legend Sandberg (04:14). They then recap F1s Belgium GP (30:23), and Luka's feature in Mens Health (55:21). The guys then help Jaeson get a kick start on Da' Bears with drama unfolding in camp (01:08:40), more gambling in baseball (01:16:45), and Jaeson's fantasy baseball teams' impending doom (01:22:33).

There isn't a whole lot of things happening in the world of sports, however the guys decided to pump out a pod anyways. It's a hodgepodge of an episode, but they kick things off with a recap of the weekend with a highlight on Shane Gillis' performance for this years ESPYs and hosts' past, "The Late Show" getting canned (12:26), labor disputes and the growing popularity of the WNBA (16:43), Dustin Poirier's farewell fight (27:16), CEO affairs and Nick Saban rumors (31:10). They then talk a little racing with Formula 1 in Belgium this weekend (42:16), Rome finally watching Tom Cruises' Days of Thunder (49:32), and other 2025 summer movie review talk including Superman, Jurassic Park, and more (59:26).

Jaeson and Aaron highjack the beginning of the pod with talks of their NL baseball fantasy keeper league with even a live trade prop between the two before Rome brings the show back on track with a recap of the Home Run Derby and rule propositions for all-star weekend in general (10:23). The guys continue on as the All-Star game is playing out live throughout the pod with a midseason review of the Devers trade to San Francisco (25:43), National League (33:34), and American League (47:54)

Rome, Aaron, and Jaeson jump right into the NBA free-agency frenzy and what has been developing into a very active offseason for the association as we enter the new year, LeBron drama and fake trade proposals before Rome talks about his first WNBA game with his daughter (41:28). The guys then recap F1's Austrian GP and Lando Norris' big win (46:33), Verstappen to Mercedes rumors before Jaeson gives us a review of Brad Pitt's new F1 movie and where it might rank in Pitt movies (01:06:06). Then it's a recap of UFC, their probable move to Netflix and more (01:13:26) before reluctantly ending the pod with what is going on with Rome's Steelers (01:35:55).

Rome, Aaron, and Jaeson jump on for an emergency pod to recap Game 7 of the NBA Finals. With everything still being fresh from Haliburton going down minutes into the game, to SGA finding other ways to help will the Thunder to victory, the guys even talk a little bit about the future and whether OKC is built for a potential dynasty run in the new-age NBA, and who can possibly challenge them next year (22:03). And since the ink is still wet from the press, the guys also get into the Kevin Durant trade to the Houston Rockets (34:42).

The guys recap Game 5 of the NBA Finals with an epic performance from J-Will and SGA to move the Thunder one win away from winning their first championship, then they go back to review Game 5 in the Stanley Cup Finals with a general sense of disappointment with the Edmonton Oilers (19:21). Fathers Day weekend provided so many sport watching opportunities and big news with the senseless Norris crash in the Canadian Grand Prix (34:33), the mega-trades in the NBA and MLB (51:47), where will KD go and a tough gritty weekend for the US Open (01:13:49).

Rome, Aaron, and Jaeson jump on the pod for instant reactions for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, with Indiana coming through in the clutch again to take a 2-1 lead. They then recap Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals with Edmonton determined to break penalty minutes in the lopsided loss to Florida (16:57). Rome then recaps the French Open with Gauff finally breaking through on clay and about the new rising kings in tennis, with Alcaraz coming from behind to defeat Sinner in an epic instant classic for the French Open (27:47). The guys then ramble from topics like the pope rocking a White-Sox cap to video game racing with Gran Turismo and the newly released F1 (39:56). It's a quick pod, in-and-out for you to enjoy on the whim.

The guys get right into it with a recap Game 2 of the Stanley Cup minutes after the game ends in another dramatic finish after Game 1. They then talk NBA Finals with another epic showdown and last minute win from the Indiana Pacers after Game 1 (25:43). The guys then talk about the surprise firing in New York with Thibs gone (43:18), and news of Jaeson's White Sox new heir-apparent owner (58:14).

The guys officially come back from a not so planned month-long hiatus with a full recap of all things with the NBA and NHL playoffs. First they recap the NBA playoffs with what they got wrong and right before laying down some NBA Finals predictions (19:50) and a little conspiracy theory with Dallas winning the top pick in the upcoming draft (27:50). They then do a quick recap of the NHL playoffs and preview the Stanley Cup with Edmonton v Florida (32:19), before talking about the sports coverage and what's to be on TNT (46:31). Jaeson recaps his trip and time at the Indy 500 (52:57) before the guys go over the last three F1 races and the battle for first within McLaren. The guys then end with Champions League Final reactions and the whooping PSG put on Inter Milan, the intersection of politics and sports, and a little WWE (01:23:45).

This is the "Better Late Than Ever" pod as it was lost for a month before reappearing on the night the guys got back together to record their first pod after a month hiatus (check out the next episode!). In the lost pod, guys kick off with immediate reactions from Game 2 of Timberwolves v Warriors, recap of the first round of NBA playoffs, plus the guys give Rome a hard time with the Lakers being eliminated in the first round.
