Meghan’s off at Desert Bus and Maria and Tyler are on their own in a definitely haunted studio. Will they survive to the end of the episode?! While they wait to get abducted by an apparition, they take a tour of the new Star Trek x MTG mechanics! PLUS: It’s a standard check-in after Arena Championship 13 and the Hartford Spotlight Series, including the Boros Dwarves (or should we say Boggles) deck that came out of nowhere. Listen closely, because the haunting is in there somewhere. ✨ Support us on Patreon!🧙 Subscribe to our Commander Channel!💪 Get sweet sleeves: Dragon Shield! Warp 9.9, engage! (Not warp 10. Nobody wants to turn into a lizard.) Maria, Megan, and Tyler beam straight into the MTG x Star Trek crossover, from hand-signed chase cards and Klingon rules text to the four Commander decks headlined by Picard, Spock, Worf, and a seven-mana Borg Queen. PLUS: Spot the cat is SO cute, Tribbles that are definitely not going to be a problem, and a Q card that might be as annoying (and charming?) as the real deal. ✨ Support us on Patreon!🧙 Subscribe to our Commander Channel!💪 Get sweet sleeves: Dragon Shield! A lot went down in Magic Town this week, and we’re catching you up. We dig into the latest banned and restricted announcement (Competitive Brawl gets new commander bans, and Standard is apparently thriving, Meghan’s lifegain deck can confirm), get our first look at Darkhold Destiny, Marvel’s spooky new Universes Beyond set, and break down the big booster pack shake-up, including 1-in-1000 “God packs." We also send our congratulations to the Wizards of the Coast employees who are unionizing!Support the union: https://unitedwizardsofthecoast.com/✨ Support us on Patreon!🧙 Subscribe to our Commander Channel!💪 Get sweet sleeves: Dragon Shield! Reality Fracture is here, and after getting our hands dirty in the Draft queues, we have THOUGHTS! Maria, Meghan, and Tyler dig into the early data to figure out which color pairs are winning, which commons wildly overperformed expectations, which uncommons are basically mythics wearing fake mustaches, and why four toughness might just be the "magic number."Come dink around with us as we break down one of the slower, more balanced, and delightfully complicated Draft formats we’ve played this year!✨ Support us on Patreon!🧙 Subscribe to our Commander Channel!💪 Get sweet sleeves: Dragon Shield!
