We visit Karin Hvidtfeldt and winemaker Lou Langdon of Hideaway Vingaard on Fejø, a small island off Lolland in southern Denmark. They explain how the sea gives Fejø about 200 more hours of sunshine than the Danish average, how the estate began with Karin's late husband Michael Gundersen in 2006, and what they learned from Jens Heinemeyer. We talk about free-range geese, organic rules that were not written for wine, spring droughts and 200 millimetres of rain in one day, and why Danish wine belongs on every restaurant wine list.Interview in English.📍 Fejø, Lolland, DenmarkIn the glass1.
