Kara LaReau is an author and just in time for Halloween, but great at any time, she brings us a new book "Licorice". There's some mysterious activity going on both with the animals and the humans in this story. Kara tells us she was inspired by Daphne du Maurier's book "Rebecca" but it's not necessary to know that work to really appreciate "Licorice". Kara's had cats all her life so she brings authenticity to their character and characteristics in this story. Kara was deeply inspired by an author's visit in her elementary years and feels drawn to making this connection with youth in her community and across the country and has virtual opportunities available for schools. Kara will be in Portland, OR on Nov. 7 for the Portland Book Festival. www.karalareau.com See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Dr. Julie is dedicated to educating her clients and any of us who want to create and have good long-term health, and it begins with clean, natural foods and using a digestive supplement to help in creating a healthy gut. Too many people suffer with bloating, stomach pain, constipation, gas, acid reflux, and it does not need to be this way. Dr Julie encourages us give up the 'unfoods', the sugars, the carbonation, the caffeine, the processed goods, and eat more simply and lightly.
