Description

The war behind the headlines.

Hosted by Moshe Davis, this podcast delivers clear, uncompromising insight into the Middle East conflict — straight from those who have fought it, studied it, and shaped it.

Through exclusive conversations with Israeli military leaders, intelligence professionals, diplomats, journalists, and security experts, each episode breaks down what’s actually happening in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, and beyond — and why it matters to the Jewish people, the West, and the future of democracy.

This is not punditry or propaganda. It’s frontline analysis that cuts through misinformation, exposes the realities of modern warfare and terrorism, and explains the strategic, moral, and geopolitical stakes too often ignored by mainstream coverage.

If you want to understand the war against Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and global terror — and the growing battle over truth, legitimacy, and Western values — this podcast is essential listening.

Will Israel strike Iran tomorrow or will Iran Strike Israel and the US? Recorded October 26 2026. As Israelis head to the polls in a highly contentious election, Brigadier General (Res.) Erez Winner addresses a critical question: Will Iran attack Israel on Election Day? With Israel potentially more vulnerable during the electoral process, could Tehran seize the opportunity to strike? General Winner explains why he believes a degree of deterrence is holding Iran back for now—and why that window may not last much beyond the days following the U.S. elections. He also outlines how Israel and the United States should approach the Iranian threat, examines the recent security developments in Hebron and the resulting regional lockdown, and explains why Israel needs to rethink its policy on Palestinian work permits. France is in complete chaos — and Brig. Gen. Amir Avivi says the riots are not spontaneous. In this IDSF briefing he lays out the coalition he sees behind them, how the Muslim Brotherhood operates across Europe, and what he believes comes next. Recorded October 21 2026. General Avivi describes a coalition of the left and Islamist elements joined together, driven by decades of migration — second and third generation populations who, in his words, do not see themselves as part of Europe or its Judeo-Christian values. He argues the dynamic changes at a critical mass: "critical mass can be ten percent, fifteen percent" — after which, he says, these communities become far more proactive. He points to France in complete chaos, the French right getting stronger, riots in Milan and Bologna, collapsing European birth rates, and draws the direct comparison to Michigan, California and New York. Then the strategic layer. He explains the Muslim Brotherhood as a global movement that does not announce its intentions — using taqiyya to penetrate governments and countries before taking power — and notes the EU's recent resolution against the Brotherhood. The General also shares that Prime Minister Netanyahu's new national security doctrine embraced IDSF's position wholesale, and names a Muslim Brotherhood axis of Turkey, Qatar, Pakistan, Afghanistan and parts of Egypt. He also addresses whether the Shia axis and the Brotherhood axis could cooperate, the new Turkey-Qatar-Pakistan-Indonesia defense pact signed in Qatar, Saudi Arabia's choice between the UAE and the Israel-US camp, and Turkey's regional ambitions. The US reportedly has strike plans that include the mother of all bombs. Israel votes in 7 days. America votes in 14. So the real question isn't whether Iran gets hit — it's who gives the order, and when. In this briefing on October 20, 2026, IDSF Director of International Affairs Elie Pierpz breaks down the likelihood and the timing of a US–Israel war plan against Iran actually looks like, and why the timing is more imminent than many realize. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth flew to Israel in an unannounced visit to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Elie explains why this is so significant and what the secrecy signals about the next phase of the Iran war. Then: the midterm firewall. President Trump has publicly ruled out a strike before the midterms. Iran appears to be deliberately stalling talks to hurt him politically. Elie walks through what each side gains from waiting — and what changes on November 4th. ⏱ CHAPTERS 00:00 The bomb that's back on the table 01:50 Why Hegseth flew to Israel in secret 05:30 What happens if Iran attacks first 08:50 President Trump does not make decisions based on polls 11:40 Netanyahu and Trump had different reasons for striking Iran 16:02 Trump's executive power after the elections This is an episode from the IDSF Daily Briefings. Trump Backs Netanyahu to Finish Iran as Israel Rewrites War Doctrine Recorded October 19, 2026. Brig. Gen. Erez Winer breaks down two urgent developments: a new wave of bomb threats on flights to and from Tel Aviv, and Israel's new national security doctrine that ends containment. In this strategic briefing we cover why Trump calls Netanyahu a winner after the strikes on Iran, what Trump regrets about stopping the attacks, why Trump says he needs Netanyahu shoulder-to-shoulder to finish Iran, and how the fall of the Iranian regime connects to the Abraham Accords, Lebanon, and Gaza. We then unpack the doctrine published yesterday — from Ben-Gurion's deterrence to decisive victory, attack in advance, self-reliance in weapons, governing Judea and Samaria, and the soft war on delegitimization. The one WORD deciding the Israel war? RESILIENCE. Recorded October 15, 2026. In this IDSF Strategic Briefing, Colonel Dr. Ronen Itzik shares his groundbreaking research on what drives Israeli soldiers to fight. His data shows motivation to join combat units jumped from 22% in 2014 to 47% before October 7th - driven by a shared sense of existential threat, strong family narratives, and intergenerational service. He breaks down why reservists remain highly motivated despite 600+ days of war, how fathers' combat service shapes their children's choices, and what soldiers themselves say about victory in Gaza - eliminating terror infrastructure, removing Hamas rule, and securing the south.
