This week, Jessica AKA LegKickTKO (https://www.punchsportpagoda.com/) enters the bad wrestling octagon. She and Gavin take on the lowest-rated matches from Backlash 03, NWA-TNA 43-45, and Judgment Day 03. Get ready for a TNA Royal Rumble type that has almost as many run-ins as it has actual entrants! Topics include Jazz's turnbuckle paradox, that beautiful son of a bitch Sonny Siaki, Brian Lawler's outright hatred for D-Lo Brown's fuzzy dice, Kid Kash doing sex trafficking, and how Test and Scott Steiner were like the Earth-3 version of the Mega Powers. Also, since it isn't mentioned at all in the podcast episode itself: SIX-SEVEN! There, I did it.
Gavin reunites with one of his oldest internet friends Quanah Harjo and forces him to watch a lot of bad wrestling. This week's menu is the worst matches from WrestleMania XIX and NWA-TNA 39-42. So many run-ins, you guys! Topics include the struggle of booking a Dusty Rhodes ladder match in 2003 (a struggle for Dusty and the ladder), Sonny Siaki, Nathan Jones being a never-nude, how the Undertaker's Streak should have ended in DQ so many years earlier, the new Street Fighter movie, and Gavin and Quanah's connection in having relatives who made stuff for Hulu.
It's Oops, All TNA! Yes, thanks to the weekly TNA situation, this episode finds ZOW dealing with five PPVs from the young promotion that to this day refuses to die. Mongo Underscore Ebooks from the Monumental Podcast returns to help Gavin discuss the worst matches from NWA-TNA #34-38, as well as explain some of the completely bonkers lore surrounding these shows. Topics include Mad Mikey, Dusty Rhodes doing hawk tuah, Sonny Siaki, the power of JNCOs, opinions on Mike Tenay, and THE LEATHERFACE COMMUNITY?!There will be a WWE match on next week's show, I promise. Just one. As a treat.
Dan Mullooly returns as guest and it's a fun one. He and Gavin talk about the lowest-rated matches from NWA-TNA #30-33 and No Way Out 03. The first match has David Flair and he still has more to offer than maybe three other wrestlers featured in this episode. Other topics include the idea of White Bloodline, the perils of everyone showing up wearing the same blue pants, Triple H booking himself to get cheered in Montreal, Sonny Siaki, and the Big Bad Booty Daddy Without Fear. WAKE ME UP!
Kung Fu Grip returns this week and there is so much to talk about. He and Gavin discuss the lowest-rated matches from NWA-TNA 26-29 as well as Royal Rumble 03. Wait, the match from Rumble 2003 with the lowest Cagematch score? Those numbers certainly spell disaster. Topics include BG James' atrocious commentary, checking out David Flair's sack, Vince Russo's inability to strangle people, AJ Styles being booked like a goddamn Super Saiyan, and a complete misunderstanding of what ref stoppage means in a world title match. Yes, this is a long episode but that's because we have to call every single Scott Steiner suplex and we're very, very tired.
