Description

This is not another therapy podcast. This podcast is secretly about friendship.

John and Linnea met at very strange times in their lives. A time where they came together from very different backgrounds and had to work on a big project together.

Through the years, they have gone from coworkers, to enemies, to friends, to podcast cohosts together.

Each week they choose a theme to talk about and chit chat and (sometimes) make art about the topic. They share their insights and get curious with each other.

Sometimes they bring on special guests (their friends) to chat about topics that are near and dear to their heart.

This is not a clinical therapy podcast, but more snippets of two friends talking about life, with growth as a key thread that gets woven within.

In this very delayed episode, John and Linnea enthuse about how much they love (and at times hate) change. What things are easy to change and what things they avoid. Briefly they discuss when grizzlies and polar bears mix. And why they they get along so well, as their connection has changed so drastically over the years. As they are both so different, they are able to support one another in meeting in the middle. Artist get yourselves a gym rat friend to bully you into working out, gym rats, make friends with an artist. How do you guys mark change? (Maybe a tattoo or a piercing, maybe by shaving your head?). How do you cope with it. Should Linnea and John do anther Freaky Friday? What would they have to do if they did another. Its almost been a year since the last one, maybe they should try? Maybe they will forget cause they do that all the time. Thanks again for listing to us.
yooo yooo yooo. Its the Apocalypse episode! Every show has one, right? We talk about the end, the end of certain versions of the world, and our own end of the social media world. In this episode we trash talk social media, and talk about what we love about it. (Ain't that funny?)John and Linnea both made art and they chatted about it. We explore the question, what would you do if the world ended tomorrow? Spoiler alert, John has a party. And White Lightning gets a serious make over!John thinks we should care more, editor thinks we should care less? Which side are you on?Why do these two keep bringing up Little House on the Prairie? (Lil H on the P). I am pretty sure they bring it up every episode. Also, John talks about wood for like 5 minutes maybe? I dunno, I stopped paying attention. Linnea gushes about the book I Eat the Stars by Sarah Wilson, link here. Thanks again for listening! We love you!-TINA

They take a bit of a turn and shit talk social media, and how much of a waste of time it can be for some people. Episode 50: Celebration!

Episode 50: Celebration!

2026-07-1201:06:00

In this episode John and Linnea avoid talking about the originally intended episode theme of criticism and talk about celebration! To make the 50th epsiode, John and Linnea (try to) focus on the topic of celebration. Also, John's bday is coming up and we wanted to make sure everyone knew. John and Linnea share the struggle of celebrating the little wins and accepting compliments. But encourage our friends and listeners to celebrate the little things. (Do it cause they can't!)As they discuss the topic of celebration they enthuse about how much change they have been through as the podcast has unfolded. (As evidence by Linnea's constant jabs at John, often without him noticing, tehe)For those who have stuck with us, thanks for sticking with us! We love you, see you next time!
In this episode Linnea and John dive into thoughts and concerns on masculinity and men's mental health. Although they are not experts, John was able to enthuse about his ideas on masculinity, and what are some ways that men (but also anyone really) can take care of themselves and their community. Over the past few years, John has been an excellent role model for modelling healthy masculinity, and being an incredible advocate for mental health. We know that therapy can not be accessible for everyone, John (and Linnea) both return back to the importance of community.Do you feel you have a good connection to community? If not, what needs to change?
