We've become so accustomed to convenience that we rarely stop to think about the materials we bring into our homes, the food we eat, or what happens to the things we throw away. In this episode of Roots to Fruits, I'm exploring our relationship with plastic, the choices we're beginning to reconsider, and the challenges that come with changing systems we've depended on for decades. As a material scientist, I've spent much of my life thinking about what things are made of and why that matters. This conversation brings those questions a little closer to home.
