The Swan Dive: A BLFC Fan Show

Legacy fans, we are coming off a HUGE win against the Spirit this past weekend and we couldnt wait to dive (pun intended) right into it. ICYMI, the Swan Dive team took a little field trip to catch the big game down in DC and it was a great time (check out IG for pics!).Andy and Courtney were joined this week by returning guest Dave (and no I do not know how many episodes this makes but he is still in 1st place). The team broke down the big win and for maybe the first time ever, had almost only positive things to say about what was an outstanding performance by the Legacy. For our Houston Dash preview we were joined by Manny from Bayou City Soccer. Its been six full months since the Legacy last played the Dash and neither lineup really looks the same. Manny shared a little about we can expect as well as some thoughts about the recent departure of both the Dash's head coach and technical director. Woohoo Swan Dive listeners, the Legacy stopped their string of highly questionable, not great games with a huge 2-1 win against Utah Royals on the road and we were so excited to talk about it. The long weekend got the better of us planning wise so we had no Legacy guest this week so we had a rare Swan Dive moment where Andy and Courtney had a nice little one on one chat about all the action. After that, they were joined by Annie from Hey Spirits to catch up with what has been happening with the Washington Spirit and discuss this weekend's upcoming match. Legacy fans, it was another tough one as the team fell 5-2 against Angel City Monday night. While we are going to share our thoughts as always, we also had a bit of fun as we were joined by a special guest in our Legacy fan seat. If you have ever been to a Legacy game, you have heard her voice announcing players and Legacy goals among other fun things. That's right, in our third seat we were joined by Boston Legacy Public Address announcer Ava J! Ava shared a little bit about her background and how she got involved with the Legacy as well as some of the prep that goes into what she does and favorite moments on the mic! It's that time again, The Swan Dive team is back to talk all things Boston Legacy. Andy and Courtney are joined by second time guest Jack to discuss last week's unfortunate and disappointing loss to the North Carolina Courage. The Legacy also gave us some news to discuss this week with the acquisition of midfielder Sarah Schupansky from Gotham FC (which I think technically happened last week but its fine) as well as some news on White Stadium and where exactly the Legacy will be playing in 2027.Then, on another episode of "Courtney makes her friends come on the podcast" we were joined by Angel City fan Karen to finally meet our last new opponent of the season. Well, Legacy fans, I think we can agree that last match against Racing Louisville was...suboptimal, to put it gently. We wanted to talk about this just about as much as you probably want to listen to us talk about it, but alas, that is what we are here for. We did do something different this week.
