Ethically Sourced

In this episode Joseph talks with KC Slack (senior leader at the Washington Ethical Society) about the ethical conundrum that the GLP-1 class of drug poses to how we view bodies in society. There is a lot to wade through here so get into it! PS: sorry that the first part sounds a little weird. I was trying out some audio processing stuff on my home setup.

On today's episode we talk about what people at WES might put on the posters they are going to make this Sunday. We talk about what the youth at WES care about and about the upcoming 2026 Midterm Elections.

Let's break it down shall we?

In this episode we talk about, the value of being around people of different ages, the power of a holistic community, empathy dojos, and then we pick apart the very simple easy question of "what do we owe one another?".

This begins a series where we discuss the ethics of particular topics. We start with the foundation here which is talking about the ethics of ethics. I swear it's not as floaty as it sounds. We ground the conversation in practical definitions and real processes of thinking. Ethics are a conversation about how to be in the world so join us as we have that conversation.
