As medical issues, claims, and costs trouble the patient and common man, I ask the doctors - who collectively have over 175 years of practice between them, If Medicine today is affected by Insurance companies and their TPAs, what about Malpractice Litigation and ensuring healthcare costs do not skyrocket and if bright young children without a family hospital or a nursing home to welcome them back, should study medicine in this day ??
5 doctors answer questions with candour. Questions that are often in the minds of patients, about medicine and the way it is practised today. Unindicated surgeries, tests, quotas, targets and more in two or three parts with questions on insurance, malpractise litigation, and whether a career in medicine is worthwhile for youngsters will follow this episode.

I wish I had a mentor in my formative years, I was fortunate to be chosed as a mentor by several young persons including young CEOs. To me, mentorship means offering guidance through real-life experience, responding to the questions asked, and providing insight while allowing mentees to form their own judgment. In this episode, I share my exchanges with young professional mentees on a range of topics that they raised.#mentor #mentee #newjob #dilemma #fears #leadership #nationalities #managers #leaders #disrespectful #disliked #hated #handling dislike #human behaviour #human traits #choosing a mentor #
In life as our activities change with lifestyle, bodyparts no longer perform as they once did and occassionally fail causing pain, discomfort and injury. I did in a previous episode speak about "listening to your body" and acting, however if the signs were missed and injury does visit there is the option of a quick fix - surgical intervention in many cases of joints, bones, and muscles. My experience has been while avoiding the scalpel, being cautious, taking care and working diligently on stregthening allowing the body to heal itself works. It takes time and is a longer term investment in understanding the body which I feel is a healthier option. #health #lifestyle #body healing #self heal #sprains #rotator cuff #meniscus #triggerfinger #surgery #keyhole #laparoscopy #quickfix
